My son, husband and step son are always pleased and amazed with the excellent cuts they receive here at the Cutting Cave. They have been going for years. The never disappoint and always do exquisite cuts just as they request. The place is clean, fun, and super friendly. They will not go anywhere else in town because they feel like they have a comfortable relationship with these professional amazing hair stylists!

We’ve brought our toddler in prior to the opening of Sheared Treasures, (an extension of Cutting Cave but for kiddos), and it was AMAZING! Separate area for kids and insanely clean. The lady who cut his hair was so patient with him and knew exactly how to handle his first haircut. I was thoroughly impressed with how quickly we were in and out, and how well Miss Paige worked with my toddler.

If you want an amazing place to take your sons to get an amazing haircut look no further! These ladies are amazing, and take the time with each client to make sure that everyone is happy, including mom 😉 I don’t take my son anywhere but cutting cave to get a hair cut.

We have come here in the past. But today, my husband and my son walked in for haircuts. No one was at the front desk. It was empty but two people getting haircuts. We check in and we were told “it would be a minute”. My husband asked her what that meant. And she replied it would be a two hour wait. On the door it says walk ins welcome. I would understand if the whole place was packed and it was a Sunday. But there wasn’t anyone waiting. On the website it says you’re a person not a number. Today we felt like nothing more than a number.

This place is going downhill fast. Too many personnel changes. I waited for an hour and a half in the parking lot and never received a call for my haircut. I was a loyal customer for 3 years, but this is not how you treat customers at all.

Weve found new barber for my son! I will happily drive an extra 20 minutes to go to Cutting Cave to receive the same care, concern, quality and talent Gabrielle provided today. Ive been taking my teen son to a chain establishment but theyve been increasingly hard to schedule and their quality and consistency of cuts wasnt there. Today Gabrielle asked Carson many questions about how he likes his hair and I really appreciated her inquiries to get him to be more invested in this process. AND, they keep a record of how they cut a clients hair! Oh, and another AND, they were LESS expensive than the silly chain weve been going to. Well be back. :) Oh! Their Covid precautions were fantastic!

Vanessa was my barber and this goes without saying but she was absolutely professional through and through. For the first time in 30 years, I left with the haircut I wanted and liked it better than the picture I brought in. The atmosphere is positively toxic and I will only go to them from on out.Justin G.

We pulled up an hour before they closed, husband put his name on the list, and we waited for 30 min in the car for someone to come get him. They were not busy and had two clients in the chair when we pulled up. Another man came up at 6:30 put his name on the list and was seated in the chair BEFORE my husband. At that point my husband walked in and asked if they would still see him and he noticed his name scratched off the list...he sat down and waited another 25 min. He texted me he was still waiting and I told him to just leave because what kind of haircut are they going to give someone 10 min before they close? My husband has been a loyal customer at this place, but I think we’ll rethink that the next time he needs his haircut. Unprofessional and poor time management is what I saw.

Been going here for years. Started while a young single man and then my son who is now 4 and has never gotten his hair cut anywhere else. We love the atmosphere and the ladies. They get pretty busy at times, but anywhere that provides an excellent service does

We’re in Savannah for the summer and I wanted to get my 20 month olds first real haircut and this place was amazing!! Everyone was very friendly and super welcoming of me and my little man. We had Jessica and she was so sweet, patient and accommodating. We love his new cut! He also got a certificate and a lock of hair for his first haircut! Gabrielle made me feel welcome for a first time customer. She did a great job on the cut and was super accommodating. She even trimmed up my beard nice for a first time beard trim. Definitely going back to see her for my next cut and trim.

This place was pretty cute for kids! The wait time was longer than I liked, and my almost two year old was getting impatient, but they did a good job. It was his first haircut, so I wasnt sure what to expect, but it was very accommodating for youngins!

I have been going to Vanessa for almost a year now and I drive 45 minutes just to get a hair cut from a professional that knows what she is doing. Very relaxing atmosphere and very professional staff.

I have been here about ten times for a haircut and have started bringing my 6-year-old twin sons. Always satisfied. It doesnt seem to really matter who you see, as they are all quite skilled. Very professional and friendly. Not the cheapest place around, but they do great cuts.

We chose cutting cave because they had the cute little race car and airplane for our sons first haircut! The 45 minute drive was definitely worth it! As soon as we walked in and said we were there for our sons first haircut they immediately made us feel so welcomed! They asked if he liked any certain shows to put on the tv while getting his cut and allowed us to take him back to the kids cutting room before we started to make him feel comfortable. Jessica cut his hair and was so patient with him when he got a little cranky! She let us basically get in her way to keep him calm and worked around us! It was an overall amazing experience for our little boy and i would highly recommend Jessica and cutting to cave to all parents for kids haircuts!

Vanessa better Tedder ( ;p ) has been cutting my hair for over three years now and I dont trust anyone else with my hair. Shes the best imo but everyone there is equally as good! Michele was amazing. I took a fussy toddler in and he got into her chair and he just calmed down and let her style his hair. Salvaged the poor hackjob I had done and made him look dapper and cute. Everyone in masks, restrictions on the number of people, I felt very safe.

Always excellent! I’ve been coming here since 2015 and wouldn’t trust anyone else to put scissors to my hair. The quality of service does make it a little busy at times so if you can’t sit for a few minutes to get in with your favorite, call ahead.

Needed a cut bad and my regular was m.i.a. us men will cheat in our wife before before we cheat on our barber. Long story short I stumbled into this place and put my fear to the side and went ahead and got my haircut and boy am I glad. Lisa who cut my hair went above and beyond my expectations and did a spectacular job and with doing so I drew up the divorce papers and now I have a new hairdresser in which Im also planning on her to cut mine and my daughters hair as long as Im alive, thank you Lisa, youre awesome!!!

This place is in a good location and very adorable. Theyve got a section in the back for little ones with an airplane and race car and have a first haircut package. They also have tvs at every cutting station for young and old. We love it. There can absolutely be a wait here unfortunately and if you book online its an extra charge

On these trying times . I was in desperate need of a haircut . Cutting cave was just the place. They walked me in and asked me to please wash hands and follow cdc guidelines. Lauren took excellent care of me and was really satisfied with the experience. I like the idea of tool boxes as drawers for their brushes and clippers . Almost look like walking into a 50s diner with the retro look and the mustang cash booth.

The were great with both my boys & we plan to use them again in the future!

The Cutting Cave has been my one and only barbershop for almost a year now. It’s always a great atmosphere and the ladies are always so nice! Never a long wait and you’re added to their system to make sure all are taken care of in the correct order. No confusion or drama! I get my hair cut by Paige and she has become a great friend to me! All the ladies are great at what they do and really care about keeping their business running smooth and taking care of all their clients. All hair types are cut here and everyone always does a great job. I live a bit far from their location but would rather make a longer trip just for the experience and outcome. Please visit The Cutting Cave if you are looking for a permanent barbershop! You won’t be disappointed!Make sure to ask for a loyalty card on your first visit. The barber will sign off on the card once per visit at check out and then your 6th cut is 10$ off!

Lauren did a great job cutting, washing and styling my hair. She shared many creative ideas on how I could wear my hair to look more handsome and relevant. Her snarky humor and sharp wit kept me entertained throughout my whole experience. I will definitely be back to see Lauren and you should too. So, a few months ago, I found this place online called the Cutting Cave. I was looking for a man place that i could trust with my beard. I value my beard more than my children. Dont worry, they know this and understand completely.Anyway, I show up the first time and there are children and families galore. Not the atmosphere I was expecting at all. HOWEVER, it was ordered chaos. The children were taken care of with care and respect, and everyone was treated with kindness from the entire staff. It may have not been the man atmosphere I was looking for, but it was worth me giving it a shot.I WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!Vanessa is the best barber I have ever had. She understood what I wanted and showed my beard total respect. I drive 30 mins and will happily wait as long as I have to, just for Vanessa. Anyone that can put up with me, is a value to any business.I am a happy customer and will sing the praises of The Cutting Cave to anyone. If you want your hair done right and to be treated like a valued customer, you found the right place.

Big fan of this place. They have a bunch of chairs so the wait is usually no more than 20 minutes even on busy days. Cut is 20 bucks but they do offer a military discount. Ive gotten cut by 5 or so different barbers and all are solid.Your first visit includes a free shampoo, they have a frequent customer card and they take credit cards. Avoid peak hours and youre in and out with a great cut.

Staff is awesome, I’ve watched them tolerate anything from screaming kids to extraordinarily picky customers. The shampooing option after the cut is great so you don’t have to walk around the rest of the day with hair getting all over everything like you would at normal barber shops. Jo is a magician with military haircuts! She is from the north, one of those small insignificant states, so don’t expect southern hospitality from the start but if you become one of her regulars, she’s a blast to talk with and she’ll eventually loosen up. All the girls that work there are fun and break up the monotony of the standard barber shop experience.

Very pleased with my sons haircut and very impressed watching the extremely skilled ladies attention to detail, no matter the style cut, the age of the man, if you get trimmed every week or if your hair hasnt seen scissors in 6 months, they give top quality professional cuts every time. I saw a new hip cut for a boy, several perfect fade cuts, a comb over cut and a nice beard trim job and each customer looked great and seemed happy, including my son.

Lauren is the absolute best and I couldnt ask for anyone better to be cutting my hair. I had the same shaved haircut for 15 years and shes helped me in the right path with a confident cut. I look forward to getting my haircut because I know itll always be on point. The hour round trip drive, whatever the wait time, and however long it takes for the cut is always worth it.

Very conscious of what you are asking for and checked several times to make sure I was completely satisfied with my cut everytime I have gone. Jessica and Lauren both do an amazing job and if either is open I would highly suggest them!

I love this place! Everyone is so nice and my son really enjoys going there. I did have one thing a lady did to my sons hair that I did not like but hair grows back and no need to get mad over something so small. even paying a little extra isnt a horrible thing because able to sit in an airplane is his favorite!(edit our last visit wasnt too good and wont be returning however theyre not a bad place for kiddos just not us )

This place is amazing with children. My son had always been so fearful of getting his hair cut until now. These wonderful ladies really take their time and make my son feel comfortable. He enjoys their kid friendly section where he can sit in a car or an airplane. My son now enjoys getting his haircut and talking with the stylist. No more screaming and crying to deal with. What a wonderful experience! My little guy needed his first haircut but I was nervous about taking him since he never stops moving. Not only was the facility clean, but the staff was welcoming and didnt shy away from his squirming. They used the quietest clippers I have ever seen and he was happy as they played with him. They went above and beyond to make his first cut a wonderful experience. Their patience and skill was second only to the amazing cut he received. I cannot say enough about how thankful I am to them. Do yourself a favor and let your little one have the experience of a fun cut by bringing them here!

Both Paige and Lauren do an amazing job with cutting and styling your hair however you desire as well as give you tips on how to wear it or what would look good. I get a cut once a week and have never walked out disappointed. Would recommend either stylists to anyone in the Savannah/Pooler area.
