I tried cancelling this automatic monthly membership 4 months ago and they keep saying okay but keep charging my card every month. I spoke to 3 different employees and the owner over this time period all assuring me they would stop payment on my card. Be careful and watch your credit card statements. Just a heads up.

First good place to wet a wash. Friendly and the place is clean. I pay monthly for unlimited for all 4 cars and a member since the 2nd moth they opened. Here’s the bad stuff: my tires are not always clean and most of the time they only prewash one side of the car. Today I watch the attendant prewash a car in front of me. They sprayed all the sides, back, roof AND the wheel wells and the guy wasn’t even a member.

The owner doesn’t appreciate his clients, there’s no reason to have any loyalty to this place as I witnessed this exchange... not with one of the employees ...but with the owner. One of the employees were more understanding than the actual owner ..I stood in line for 30 minutes ...the line was onto the street... I got all the way up to the kiosk and the owner saw me put my money into the machine ...I Starting to get close to the tunnel and one of his employees said to me “..that’s a raptor it’s too wide for our car wash ..you can’t go through !” They then backed me out,,, turned me around, stopped the traffic ... Which took about 15 minutes as the whole car wash was loaded and there’s only one way in And no way out. ....As I was exiting ...the owner gave me my $20 back ...no thank you, no I am sorry ..they started escorting me out of the car wash with not even a I’m sorry for the inconvenience !!! basically just get out and here is your $20 back. I said to the owner, so what am I gonna get for my inconvenience? “he said nothing, you’re not going to bully me ? I said how about a free car wash and he walked away from me and said “ not a chance”. The employee said to me “ no problem ,I’ll give you a free car wash, what is your name and when will you come back.? This just goes to show you the owner is an arrogant business owner and could care less about repeat customers as I frequent this car wash and I will never go back there again. He lost a very good client and hopefully someone will read this review and not go back until he figures out He needs to give good customer service to get good customer loyalty. We are what makes your business prosper. Wake up Mr. owner! Appreciate your clients and we will appreciate and you and your car wash.

Had a wonderful experience today at Ocean Express! Was greeted by a smiling & happy guy named John A. He went over all the amazing packages they offer & got me set up with the Platinum car wash today! I was truly impressed with the service as well as the wash! My car was sparkling clean and my rims and wheel wells never looked better! Ill be back for sure!

Best car wash in the Brick/Point area. Good value, modern, customer oriented. I went today to check this car wash out and I was amazed by everything, especially the customer service. You get a free vacuum token at the end with any package and unfortunately it wasn’t enough time(3 1/2 minutes) to completely vacuum my car, should’ve been faster lol. I went inside to get change for more time and the worker I spoke to spotted me 2 tokens for FREE. I will definitely be coming back to this car wash and maybe getting one of the monthly memberships. Such good service. 5 stars.

Didnt know they dont clean the inside of the car but overall a good experience.

I recently got an interior detail and they went above and beyond getting it cleaned. Truly feels like a brand new car! Outside of the clean, the team couldn’t have been more friendly to deal with. I now recommend this car wash to all my family and friends near point pleasant/ bay head. I will be back for sure.

What cant I say John and his staff are second to none, which includes Bill (Owner), Yomar, Tony, Justin and a few other young men who are personal, courteous and go to the hill just to make you feel welcomed! I have been all over this country and have a experienced many car wash experiences, yet none that come close to this consistent experience, I get to re-live just about everyday! I can tell you the quality of the products they use is TOP-Shelf (all the way) and they never skimp on service! They are the apple of car washes and as I understand have a great client-base that returns with great frequency! It reminds me of going to an amusement -park and paying to go on a ride, yet your car comes out of the facility clean and you just got a ride through a soapy-sudsy carnival ride that was a thrill for about 90 seconds! The other portion of the business focuses on fine-hand crafted detailing!!! I had my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee detailed to the exterior and was truly BLOWN AWAY!! Yomar who travels from Roselle, New Jersey everyday (120 MILES ROUND TRIP) was the gentleman who did my detailing and when I picked it up that afternoon, I could not believe my EYES!!! I use this car wash all the time. They do a good job on the outside, they always rinse it first. Yesterday I went to the car wash. When I went to pay I realized I didnt have my wallet. The owner John came over to me and I told him what happened and he said its on me. I got free car wash and it was my birthday but he didnt know it when he said go. Very nice place friendly and quick.

This is an extremely well-run business! Everyone who works there is friendly, conscientious, and will do whatever they can to make sure you get in and out in record time with no fuss! They are courteous, organized and on top of everything, which makes for a very smooth experience. I definitely recommend Ocean Express Car Wash!

I have since gone back to the car wash. They do a great job. I was disappointed in the lack of response I received after multiple phone calls and messages, and notifying the man at the place. I appreciate the response below.It is a great place for a car wash. I do NOT recommend doing the monthly membership. It is next to impossible to get in touch with anyone to cancel it. The customer service could definitely use some improvement as far as answering calls.

Not the best wash but cheap.Enough with the upsell of the wash club.You have to put it on a card that automatically renews unless you send a certified letter to cancel.The old gym trick.I would join if I could pay cash for a year and then decide if I want to opt out without hiring a lawyer.

The best car wash for VALUE and SPEED. The owner even came out and showed me how to vacuum in between the seats and console by putting the hose underneath the back of the seat to reach the crumbs. Who knew?

The wash itself is somewhat half decent. My rims are deep dish so I don’t expect them to be thoroughly cleaned; however, the track fit my 14 inch wide tires so I’m happy with that.I compare this car wash to the ones at gas stations that are priced the same. That’s why am giving at four stars because it is much better than those.

The staff is super friendly and attentive. There is no reason to look for another car wash. This place has everything you need to get your car cleaned quickly, easily, and inexpensively.

I love that place! I especially love the fact that I always see the owner, Bill, there. When I first went there (before they had the new machines), I thought vacuuming was included for the highest price wash. When I got through, I asked him if it was included, not realizing he was the owner. He said it wasn’t, but he noticed I was a firefighter by my license plate. He offered to vacuum my car for free, and he personally did it. When I tipped him, he said no thanks, but that he’ll give it to the kid in the back. You can tell he takes great pride in his business. My brother is a small business owner and I know what it takes and how stressful it can be. I’ll never go anywhere else with that kind of dedication and service.

The manager John is extremely friendly and helpful and truly believes in providing great service for the customer. I would highly recommend and I will keep coming back!!!

I signed up in October - received a month free. After the 2 months, I tried to cancel but was told I had to cancel online. There is NO PLACE on the website to cancel. So I called the number countless times since then. Theres no answer and the mailbox is always full. I want to cancel this membership. Any suggestions?

Im old enough to know how a car wash works especially when theres no attendee guiding your tire in I dont need to come being yelled at and screamed at and told put it in neutral buy some troll working there never again will I go here!!!maybe if you had more workers and guiding your tires and you wouldnt have to be hung out to dry and doing it on your own!!!

Place is always closed when I need them. Like in the middle of the day on Monday when it clearly says theyre open. F this place. Hours of operation- says open... nah were closed today.

Brand new car wash new name new equipment with unlimited monthly plan totally worth the price especially if you like keeping your car clean and always at the wash itll pay itself and its the only car wash to offer such plan in the area. Only suggestion they should do is have staff at the end of the tunnel ready to dry the car completely and should start a detail shop with the open bays they got.

It has brand new Hanna equipment and opened June 26, 2018. The previous equipment, also Hanna, but was 30 years old as the original wash opened in April 1988. Sold to new owner after Grands owner, John Criscuolo, passed. I went there first week open and it was great! Great wash, now base price of $6, and very friendly staff. Lisa Cards post is strange as the wash name changed from Grand to Ocean Express with the June reopen. Try it!
