I called Big Pine Tree Service to have a limb removed. They discovered an insect infestation and since they were already on property offered to do the work for the cost of the chemicals - the cost of the chemicals added an extra $450 to the bill. I paid it, but when walking the property with the arborist we discovered that the workers had only done half of the work. He promised to send them back out to complete the job, but after months of my calling, and them breaking promises to return, they finally stopped returning my calls. The partial treatment they applied had no effect whatsoever. I rebid the project to other contractors, and the highest quote was about half of the cost of the chemicals. Was I ripped off?

The team showed up on time and did a very nice job trimming the trees around my property.
