Having paid on my service contract for fourteen years on this product, I could have purchased it again several times. This time, they had to order a part and after 25 days of waiting, the part was still not yet in transit. I was told that after 21 days, I could request a replacement of my washer. On the 25th day, I called and did so, waiting one hour and forty minutes on hold before the call was picked up. Miraculously, my part was shipped that same day and arrived in two days. I did, however have to wait another full week for a technician to come. I was without a fully working washer for over a month. I put in online for $50 in compensation that they offer if your appliance cannot be fixed on their first visit, but was denied. There is a number to call if I have questions. I called and the recording stated that my hold time would be 241 minutes!!! Not worth four hours of my time to probably be told they will do nothing for me. I will not be renewing my contract this year and good riddance to Sears.

Service tech arrived on time ,was knowledgeable,polite and professional.The problem is that Sears do not support these techs in the fieldby providing Repair Parts and specific technical information.Parts,they said, would be days away, and we would then have tore-schedule (to install the part approx.10 days later).It seems Sears is more interested in earning the $179 fee (for a brief visit), rather than FIXING my refrigerator.Who wants to be without their refrigerator for 10-12 days?TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

My major appliances receive service and annual maintenance with 1800ForMyHome the SEARS warranty service which covers all brands whether purchased from SEARS or not. I had an annual maintenance check up on my AC which was professional, on time, and the technician was thorough and courteous.

The technician was at my house 9/15 , said my washers valve wasnt good , need to order anew parts , takes about 4 days , he calls me 2weeks later said he got the parts , can come to my house change the parts on 10/5 , 3-6pm , he never show up at all, I called sears , they gave me a phone number to call , n explained to me theres third party company handling all the repair ,not from sears anymore , I called 4 times , each time says take 24-48 hours for call back , theres no response at all , till now still no response about the problem , I honestly dont know wheres the parts go , also I feel I waste all this money buy the extended warranty , n I never experience this kind of terrible service from sears , so disappointed , sorry to said it actually not even worth any star at all

Dwayne, was my tech from Sears for my Toshiba, it took all of 15 minutes. Dwayne was super nice personable, I apologize to him about the dust behind the TV he offer to clean it for me I gave him several swifter sheets and asked for a vacuum Dwayne, vacuum back there for me how nice was he, I thanked him so much my Toshiba is great also he inspected sound and pictures and clarity all checked out. Thanks Sears for Dwayne. Make he get more than a job well done. You should give your employees Value Cards like $25. or $50. Gift card for wonderful service. Angela

Sears is my go to fix all my appliances. I have always had great customer service. My tech called to let me know he was on his way and arrived within the time-frame initially given . He analyzed the situation and ordered the parts to fix the situation. The tech answered all my questions. Great professional customer service!

Had riding mower repair . tech Dale on time, very friendly, and fixed mower. But customer service for sears poor... They were to apply diagnosis fee towards repair they did not , and could not speak to anyone to correct. Only internal audit and offer of $25. Check local repair , labor cost cheaper at bitter blue shop. $40 labor to change belt vs sears $112. Im still open to sears contacting me to correct.

Have had a contract with Sears for many, many years and the service has really gone down since they got rid of their techs and started using sub contractors. Takes 2 visits each time for service repair and then sometimes still not fixed and requires another visit.Will be looking for another company as my time is valuable and I am tired of the hassles.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!. My refrigerator broke down just before Thanksgiving mid November. They have sent a repairman 3 times and they keep wanting to order more parts. Finally when the technician came 2 weeks ago, he confirmed that with the next appointment I would definitely have my refrigerator up and working. I prepaid for the job and also bought their service contract. Unfortunately he was only able to schedule me 2 weeks later but said once I receive the parts to call and they would try to accommodate an earlier appointment. I did receive the parts within 5 days and called sears to move up my appointment but they said they would escalate and call me within 24 hrs. When 24hrs came and went and I didnt receive a call, I called them again and they said that they can not give me an earlier appointment but would honor my appointment for Dec 22, 2017. They confirmed the appointment same morning and then at the time they were to arrive to fix my refrigerator they called to say that they needed to reschedule my appointment for Jan 8 almost 3 weeks later. I tried to speak with a supervisor but no one wanted to help. They kept saying that there technicians were busy and that my job would have to wait. Terrible customer service not willing to work with me to solve the problem. Kept me waiting for over 30 days, I prepaid the job, I bought their service contract and still I have no working refrigerator. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!! Horrible!!!!! Wish I could give them less then 1 star.

This company do not care about the customers, I see why sears is a loser company cause of who they have representing them. My washing machine doesnt work they came to fix it 4 times still not fixed. They said theyll fund my lost money to wash my clothes, not a penny after 4 months. My walls and baseboards got damaged after the washing machine leaked, they said someone will call me and pay for damage, not a call in months. My washing machine still doesnt work and Im still covered but they dont care enough to want to fix the problem. I guess losers are only good at losing!

The sales rep (disguised as a service rep) tested the temperatures for the fridge/freezer and sprayed silicon on a paper towel and wiped the door seals for all of 5 minutes, then looked at the bottom of the unit, found no coils to clean, and declared my 3-year-old refrigerator in great working order, so I could close out my 3-year initial service contract, knowing my reefer is in good shape.He then spent 15-20 minutes touting the values of Sears extended contracts for all of my appliances, even the non-Sears ones. He was very cordial and down-to-earth, and told me I was buying peace of mind, to cover me if any of my appliances fail. He then conferred with a Sears agent on the phone, and, based upon info I gave him, offered me a one-year Peace of mind extended service contract, covering my A/C, water heater, range, microwave hood, and dishwasher for $685! I did a quick cost/benefit analysis and I declined it. He accepted my answer, and we were done.

Guys came within time period they said, ordered the part which came a day or two before the other appointment. The repair was done quickly and my washer is working just fine. It seems a major company that recently went out of business had tried to fix the problem by wrapping the broken hose in electrical tape. Of course that fix didn’t last long. It’s not cheap, but I don’t mind paying if the job is done right.

I have been buying using Sears grills since 1996. I have purchased the warranty policy annually and have enjoyed excellent service. But when I called the Sears tech to repair my Kenmore grill (purchased in 2015), he told me that the defective parts could not be replaced due to rust and neglect. I put the grill on the street as trash. The grills checked by your techs in previous years were in worse shape than my last grill. I cant believe that Sears would do this to a perennial customer, but a customer no more.

Everyone is always very polite and helpful on the phone. The service staff seem to know what they are doing, but my washer has been repaired about 6 or 7 times in less than 5 years. The panels are all loose and squeak now when the machine is running; if you touch it, it creaks. I think that the more they fix it, the worse the same problem is the next time they have to come out. Maybe just a lemon of a washer from the note defunct Hh Gregg.

The Kenmore thru-the-wall air conditioner was purchased brand new from Sears less than two years ago (2015). The Sears technician determined the unit cannot be repaired. They want to prorate a credit good for the purchase of a new unit. I dont think so, this defective unit needs to be replaced with a compatible brand new unit.

I would give Sears Appliance Repair ZERO stars if I were able to. I have had the WORST experience with them. I originally called for a dishwasher repair. When the technician came, he sold me on their home warranty service (which gave me a 50% discount on that first repair). He had to order a part. Well, 4 trips later, my dishwasher STILL isnt working and now they want to replace the original part that they started with!!! How many times are they going to come here? 5 days I had to take off of work with no end in sight. They are supposed to REPLACE the appliance if they cant repair it. They offered me $500 but I had already paid almost $300 for the original part which they REFUSED to refund, so essentially they were only willing to give me just over $200. The contract requires that they replace the appliance if they arent able to fix it. Why would I pay almost $300 for a part that clearly didnt fix the dishwasher? In addition to the dishwasher nightmare, the technician who sold me the warranty said that it would cover my broken microwave handle (after a 30 day waiting period), but it turns out that that was also a lie and it doesnt cover handles. Sears - you should be ashamed of yourself!!! Not the company you used to be.

The worst experience in my life. On Dec 26ht a first technician came and diagnosed the repair for a washer. We waited three-months for the part to arrive (not to mention no one knew what was going on during this time and they blamed Whirlpool). Then, when the part finally arrived, another technician replaced it and the washer was still not working. He decided to give up and refund us.Its been two months since then and Im calling and trying to see what is going on with the refund and no one takes responsibility or knows what is the status. They even transfer my calls to departments where no one answers or just hang up.Avoid at all costs, you will regret it.

My first call for service was Aug 23....Tech came Aug 25.....ordered new Motherboard. Part arrived Aug 29....Tech came Aug 30 and installed it. I was instructed to remove everything....unplug unit and leave overnight to defrost. I did this....left unplugged for 14 hours then restarted. Never cooled to temp set.....fridge reading 55 to 60....freezer 25-30 degrees. Called again Sep 2.....Tech now scheduled for Wed. Sep 7th. So far, it has cost me $324 and its the same as when I called the first time. Still getting error code ER FF. I have lost a lot of food and still have no refrigeration....after 2 weeks. Am I satisfied.....I dont think so ! Hope to get this fixed soon! P.S. Its now 9/10...Tech came on 9/7...fridge is worse than when i first called....not cooling....making terrible noises. Tech says I need another part...ordered part which will arrive next Wed. 9/14 and Tech will be back on 9/15 to install this part. Happy???? NOT!Ive had no refrigeration since 8/23 and still waiting. This is not service! The one star is for the Personnel who are doing the best they can within this system.Update: My fridge/freezer was finally fixed on Sept. 15 when Al installed another part. Its now running perfectly again. I think more than 3 weeks is much to long for a refrigerator repair but all the people that I had contact with were very helpful and did the best they could. The problem was waiting for parts (2) that had to be ordered from out of state and were not overnighted. I lost lots of food and was very inconvenienced for over 3 weeks which included company from out of State....bummer.

Sears WAS a good company selling good appliances and lawn mowers backed by excellent service. That was 20 years ago. Their appliances breakdown more often, their lawn mowers are inferior but their SERVICE is VERY POOR. They give an appointment for about two weeks later, and refuse to provide a 2-3 hour window or even a morning or afternoon window. You must sit home and wait for the technician to show up whenever they can from 8 am to 5 pm. Then they refuse to check any problems other than what you mentioned initially during the booking. For any other problems, you have to call and make a new appointment. Ridiculous. No more Sears - ever again.

Our repair took much longer than it should have because the problem was not found easily. Our second tech Edward, worked very assiduously to resolve our problem. He was pleasant and professional and presented as very committed to getting our refrigerator working again. In the end, he did get it done.

My a/c broke late Friday night and i called sears Saturday morning, they were able to get to my house Monday morning. Found out my compressor was bad. They told me that they can get one, but it would have to wait till Tuesday morning. As promised they were here first thing in the morning and did the job that took about 2 hours..well Sears extended warranty is so good all the work was done. No questions asked and no out of pocket expenses for me. Thank you Sears and yes i would recommend the extended warranty... thanks again sears.....

So in the end it was worth all of the nastiness that I experience during the FIRST appointment that I set and the first available associate... He was very nasty .....and then on my appointment day that he supposed to had set for me ....no one showed up... So when I called I was told that no appointment was set for me . So the young lady was very apologic and also very nice so she set an appointment for me. And from that moment on all went well... Nothing but good reports from me ....thank you thank you. They sent a technician to my house to check my washer which when he ran the tests it tested fine but my washer had a problem spinning and agitating with a load of laundry not empty. When he left after running the tests a tried to do a load and again the problem was still there. My issue was not with the first technician my issue is that they say if the problem is still there they will come back covered under the $79 paid the first time and the follow up appointment the technician said he couldnt access where i live because i lived in a gated community and that is false because i live in a condo and the first technician had no issues and they called me the first time prior to him arriving which they did not do the second time. I stayed home all day waiting for them and got nothing. After calling and complaining they put me in touch with another tech that was trying to tell me to just replace the washer without coming out and looking at it. Its pretty sad that what used to be a strong company is falling behind but now i know why. In the end i spent 2 days waiting to have my washer fixed and $79 and am still not able to do laundry.

My washer broke 12/27/2017 THe repair was not completed until1/17/2018 Thats a long interval 2 trips to the laundromat no fun for ahandicapped person relying on a scooter.The first tech mis diagnosed the problem and in fact ordered the wrong parts......TerribleThe Second tec was the best tec I ever experienced he good...very helpfuland fixed the machine. We got lucky the clutch was on the truck.He went above and beyond....gave the washer a full check up.Please dump first tech did not even determine correctly the problemPromote second Tec....he wonderful a real asset to your crew

Beyond unhappy with sears warranty/protection agreement. Ive been without a fridge for almost 4 months now and Sears could care less. Countless technicians have serviced my appliance with no success including changing just about every part within it! I highly regard anybody to steer clear of Sears appliances and the warranty offered. Hoping Ill have fridge replaced in the next two months as they are now insisting to replace door insulation.

I found the entire process to be challenging, exhausting and a nightmare from start to finish. I would not recommend this service to others based upon my last experience. In a synopsis, I called to schedule an appt to have my Amana refrigerator repaired, however, someone had to call me back to actually set the appt. When he did, he asked about the smart service aggreement, however was in the middle of something and could not talk so I asked if hed call. He never did. I called back later that night only to find out that the agreement could not be added to my existing appt. I would have to call back in the morning to that department before the service advisor arrived. I did, but everyone said it couldnt be done. I would have to reschedule, although Id already taken the day off. I decided to just have the advisor show up and go from there. Once he arrived he was able to allow me to purchase the agreement. He checked my refrigerator and said the compressor was bad. However, on his paperwork he wrote down that it was repaired. It wasnt! I called sears back, after waiting to hear from them (All the while with no refrigerator) only to.learn that I would have to take another day off to have ANOTHER service advisor come to look at it again. I opted to cancel my agreement because I couldnt afford to take another day off. I waited a 2-3wks to see the $285 refund so I could buy another refrigerator. After speaking to multiple people and hearing multiple stories the saga continued. And now, Im out of $200 because after all of that I ended up buying a new refrigerator from sears on black Friday. A glutinous for punishment. Im out of $200 because had I kept the smart service agreement they wouldve given me money towards a new refrigerator. All this because the first advisor wrote erroneous on the repair order and I couldnt take another day off to have it corrected. I really want to say, What happened to the old sears because the new one is horrible? And Ive been a card member since 1986. So, I know what good service use to be like.

The service gentleman, arrive on time, test all alliances, found a short refrridgerator, do to the light bulb id not work, I pulled out package of brand new light bulbs, One did work, but he said there is a short, said he would make an an appointment, for an order tech to come out to fix the short, Had his computer with, said he mad an appointment, for some come in two days to fix the the short, When Thursday came I called Sears to find out what time he cooming,to fix theshort. Sher relied shed didnt have me down in the books, The original tech, also asked me if I wold go out with him, (on a date), I told him I had boy friend, he said, that figures, Ironically the 2nd tech never came, When I This did cost me another day off work, called Sears, they had reassured me there was NO follow up visit was in their system???? What a waste of time and money. I should be reimbursed!!! NEVER again. :(

The technician installed parts, supposedly got the machine working when I put first load in machine started leaking . I also realized that the technician. Left all the boxes and garbage behind at my house. These were large boxes that could not be put out in the regular garbage.Terrible customer service.

The dryer belt needed to repair my dryer was $26.12. Receipt says Tax on Labor which was $203.69, but tax was also applied to a $99 Diagnostic Fee. The total cost was $351.83. If it took the technician more than 20 minutes, it was a long time. I think these fees are exorbitant!
