Unlike other Walmarts for me, this one is always drop and hook. Everyone is always friendly. Everything is handled at the guardhouse so I never have to go into the traffic office. I love this DC!

Seen a lot of positive comments but they must be for drop and hook guys.. this is my second time delivering here last week had a 0500 appointment got here at 0430 was done at 1100 thats 6 1/2 hours... today same thing been here since 0430 and it dont look like Im leaving any time soon. Might be a good place for the drop and hook but for us OTR drivers make sure youre fridge got food cuz its gonna be a while

Arrived at 04:30 on a Sunday morning for what I thought was a 05:00 live unload appt. Was told the appt had changed to well into the future. Told to come back at 07:00 to see about a work-in, which I did. There was a dock available for me, so I got checked in and to a dock. Both the folks at guard shack (both times) and the S&R office lady were very polite, professional, friendly and efficient. I had to disconnect and leave trailer at dock, waited for text when done unloading. Checkout process was efficient. All done and gone by 11:30. I was grateful they accommodated me! 😀Note the orange paper in the window, “Shipping office opens at 04:45,” or some such wording. Oh, and restrooms available inside!!! Also, must wear mask.

Like delivering here, easy enough to get around if you find the right truck entrance down a different road than car entrance.

Good place. But they tell you the will email you your bills.You call them later that evening because you havent received them the gentleman on the phone says he is sending them. You still havent received them buy the next morning you have to call again and the lady will send them to you she is very nice. The gentleman on night shift acted like it was a problem for him to do his job.

Until January 2021 24th & Quincy will be blocked off for construction.Come in on the west side of distribution center still Quincy Street.Distribution on the right.Place is always helpful and friendly.Plenty of room for all maneuvers.

By far, hands down, the best Walmart DC I’ve ever had the privilege of delivering to. My load was supposed to be a trailer drop and wait for them to unload it. My outfit isn’t a drop and hook. The trailer I have belongs to me. When I told them what I was supposed to do (per the broker, mind you), they called the receiving office, who said it could be up to a week before they got the trailer unloaded. I said, oh, well, I have to wait because it’s my trailer. Receiving clerk offered (even though they didn’t have to) to schedule me a live unload appt for the following morning. I said heck yeah, let’s do it!! Went down the road to the local Walmart store to park til the morning. When broker found out, they told me to go back and drop it and I would be “duly compensated”. I ignored that order and was unloaded by 8:30 am the next day and on down the road. Thank you guys for helping out even though you didn’t need to. THAT’S the way drivers should be treated.

Im a otr driver got to window guard basically rude and took his time talking to walmart drivers ignoring me like I wasnt important to him got to dock my trailer went in the receiving doors the guy was rude and said they will be done in 4 hours waited and other drivers got out before even though they arrived after me I wont deliver anything to this location again period. RUDE, PEOPLE dont care about us otr guys

Walmart APs at the truck gate & warehouse house entrance in Plainview, TX, are a GREAT BUNCH!! 😁 Pete, who was the first AP there I met when showing up from Los Lunas, Swift, for my first Private Fleet driver interview, really MADE ME FEEL WELCOME (BEFORE the interview!) to Walmart & to Plainview, I felt! 😊 They have great bosses there, too! WEST TEXAS COURTESY, YALL?!

The security guards are very professional. ( men and women). The women in the Traffic Office are very nice and professional. They are well organized in this Walmart Distribution Center.

Rude little fellow at the gate this evening. Does he run the receiving dept ? Poor people skills. I will not be back if hes at the gate. Within my 1 hour window and was refused because they are behind. Not my problem anywhere else. Maybe MGMT can make some changes in the receiving dept. Should have a look at why loads are refused, thats costing me money to wait on them now. I will tell everyone I know to not haul anything here.

16 boxes per minute said Greg the young supervisor for loading and unloading dock. 2 short breaks and cant even eat well without being rushed back for production. It is well said that the love of money is the root of all evil.

Its a Walmart DC. Was in and out in relatively quickly for one.

Dont steal or do drugs and you can find yourself working there for a long time. Get in where you fit in and dont get comfortable with calling in all the time and youll find your way around the place. Success and transforing to succeed is friendly too. 15-21.80 an hour

Save yourselves some trouble and call the traffic office to confirm what your appointment time actually is before you arrive. Had a 5pm appointment got there at 3:45. Guard tells me my appointment isnt until 6. Which will isnt gonna happen because I will be out of hours at 5:30. After I say this the guard laughs at me and tells me its not his problem. Nice. They make me leave. I finally find some parking and call the traffic office and he tells me the appointment is actually 6:30. I explain the issue and he puts me on hold for a minute and tells me to come back in, hes got a door for me. What a jewel! A rare thing indeed at a walmart dc. Had me unloaded on an hour and I used PC to head to the walmart store to park for the night.

Bathrooms vary dirty...took me 5 hours to unload 5 pallets

Prepare for a wellness check before you go in due to Corona, guards really nice and quick, took 3 hours to unload but all Walmart DCs take about that long

People are always so friendly here and in such good moods. Sometimes its crowded but always seems to be unloaded in a timely manner. Overall excellent experience. Lots of space for parking & backing. Driver lounge upstairs

Definitely takes WAY too long. This is my 4th stop of the trip, all walmart DCs in texas. Each place gets a few pallets of flowers. (Theres only a few plants per pallet) Every single other stop I was out within 45 mins. I have now been here at this one 3.5 hrs, and still not done. Theres just no excuse for it. Apparently everyone else can do it, but these guys are incapable of working in a timely manner.

I arrived at 4:00am, per my appointment time. It’s now 8am and I am still sitting in the truckers lounge because they won’t allow me to go inside my truck (box truck” it’s 2 freaking pallets!!! How long does that take to unload?! And if you ask for an update the receptionist just says “they will let us know when they’re done” like I’ve been driving since yesterday at 8am. But cool. Take your time. I didn’t want to get a weekend delivery out of here. Who needs to make money🤬

Delayed severely to my next pickup, as there werent any available trailers; they ran behind during the holiday weekend, and it screwed a lot of my companys drivers up.

Seems like everyones appointment is at 5am. Its 10am, were still waiting to get unloaded. Trailer is still in the door. You cant leave without permission. Lady said we were almost done. That was an hour ago. You can walk dogs by the guard shack if necessary. I hope I never have to come back here. Im going to miss my reload.

Guard on duty was tied and unprofessional. She was one of two guards on duty at the time. The older one. She should ne setting a better example!

The guards are nice and this Walmartis definitely efficient when it comes to a drop and hook; however, the people who unload are pure pigs! The trailers are left with all kinds of garbage in them, broken pieces of pallets, plastic, paper, cardboard, etc etc! They pull the shrink wrap off the pallets, wad it into a ball and throw it on the trailer floor! We are required to have clean trailers when we go to a shipper, so they are are clean when Walmart gets them and filthy when they leave them! We cant just walk safely into them from a dock and sweep them out; we have to climb up into them out in the parking lot and sweep them out. Good grief people! throw the trash away, not on the floors of the trailers! You have trash containers, recycling bins and push brooms! We have the ground at the back of the trailer! Also, I have been coming here for years and this is always the case!

I had a very positive experience delivering to this Walmart DC . everyone was nice and professional , from the guards at the gate to the nice lady working in shipping and receiving office .I got there on Sunday April 7th my appointment was at 05:00 am and I was there at 04:00 am .I got door 104 at 04:45 am and at 06:00 am I was on the road again .I dont know why so many drivers claim they had a negative experience with this facility .

My appointment was at 5:00am. I was checked in at 4:00am. Unloaded at 7:00am. I was happy with their service. My suggestion is for them to have an alternate address on google so trucks drivers can find it easier.

Really depends on which one you go to, some its hard to find employees to help with trying to get or find items. Then theres other stores where you see lots of employees who are very friendly and helpful.

Why give a appointment when it takes 5 hours to get unloaded.this is why nobody wants to deliver to Walmart. But if we are late you want to fine us.we should be able to fine you also cause this cost us money.

Slooooooooooooowwwwww!! 2nd time coming here with one pallet, takes a half an hour to check in, (Drop trl) and a hour an a half to unload for one pallet. (If your lucky) If you come here with more than that, pack a lunch!! LOL!! They need to put in a LTL(less than load) door. Under so many pallets or pieces, shouldnt have to unhook and should be able to unload your own. Should be able to get out of here within a half an hour to 45mins tops with LTL. Shouldnt be appt for LTL either, people with truckloads have all day to sit here and they will, I got usually 2 or 3 drops after this and need to go! Wishful thinking LOL!! Also if your handicap or have issues with your legs good luck getting to the receiving office. Nice people otherwise

They are friendly and that counts priority...Only reason they didnt get 5 stars because they let otr sit out waiting while their return trucks are priority / firstBut, they do go through quickly and theres a turning lane in middle of the road that two trucks could almost fit into if pulled way up in front of intersection...lolThey really are friendly people

Took 3.5 hrs to get ppk, but, they were over on cases and wasnt thier fault. Good facility, pleasant ppl. You can arrive no earlier than 1 hr before appt. No parking on site but saw an abandoned lot down the street that held 10 trucks. Walmart store in town hosts parking too. Dont ruin it by being a pig! Be professional and do shopping in the store

Quick drop n hook minus the problem of shipment not having the drop scheduled and the fact they would not let me stay on property while my dispatcher got that fixed. Security was friendly about it though and advised on nearest place I could park my rig.
