Owner was very responsive and explained services and cost. There were no hidden charges or unexpected outcomes for what they promise. The inspection itself is really informative and the inspector conducted himself like a professor in knowledge but also like a close confidant willing to share his knowledge.

Not good at all. I would recommend anyone but this group. The inspector (Don) said lights didn’t work when really he just couldn’t find the switch. He missed the fact that EVERY toilet leaks water onto the ground and had constant running issues. One toilet runs every 5-10 mins so unless his inspection was 5 mins long, he had to have heard it.When I asked clarifying questions because he would say confusing things such as lights weren’t functional but had a photo of that exact light on later in the report, he refused to own his mistakes and was rather rude to me.Don missed so many things. If he wasn’t looking close enough to see water stains at every toilet and couldn’t figure out simple light switches, what else did he miss? I’m not excited to find out, even though it’s clear that I will discover more of his omissions.Update- I’m now onto my third repair in the 3 months since his inspection. I do hope this stops.

My husband called to get an estimate on a home inspection for a new home that we are purchasing. He received a call from a lady who started to give us information then said she had to call us back. She returned my husbands call again and asked what exactly we needed. He had already gone over this with her. She then proceeded to get very nasty with my husband and explain she did not have any time to do the inspection. She went on to put other companies done. Trying to leave the impression that no other company can do what they can do and we were our of luck because they dont have time to get us in within the timeframe we need. I was very turned off by her treatment of us and would not recommend this company for that reason.

I had a great experience with my home inspection. This is my third home, so Ive had inspections done before, and this one was by far the most pleasant and comprehensive. The Assistant Inspector Vanessa met me in the front yard and presented me with a binder of info as well as (my favorite part!) a little box with a drink, snack, pen and pad, and a TAPE MEASURE! I meant to bring a tape measure, but of course I forgot, so I appreciated this small gesture immensely.During the inspection, Vanessa was very friendly even though I could tell she was hard at work checking all of the outlets, toilets and sinks, etc. The Inspector, Don, was also very knowledgeable and friendly. He walked me through the most important items and explained everything thoroughly.There was also a third inspector present to do the pest inspection, and he was very knowledgeable about pests and taught me some things about carpenter bees!I think the full inspection took about 3.5 hours, which is longer than any I have had done before. Fortunately, I didnt need to be present for the whole thing, but I took the opportunity to hang around around and take photos of the rooms for planning purposes.Basically, this was a great experience, including the conversations I have had via phone with the owner. Everyone is just super friendly and helpful!

If I could give Sharon St. Clair, the owner of this company, -5 stars I would! I contacted them for a home inspection and when I got the agreement the next day, the price was much higher than other comparable companies. When I very nicely asked if they price match, I received a very long and condescending email back, basically telling me that Im the type of consumer that should be matched with a company that is of lesser quality. She then canceled my appointment abruptly without even asking if I would like to proceed with them. BEWARE! Steer clear of this business. She is completely unprofessional and thinks her company is the only one of value.

Sharon and the Diamond Team were just what I needed for an inspector. They were responsive, detailed, and also very clear about what was in scope and out of scope in terms of their services and even advice they were comfortable giving post inspection.I was only able to attend the inspection virtually. As a result, I probably had a lot more questions afterwards than most and because of this I sometimes felt like a bother when I would go back with multiple questions. Sharon, the owner insured this wasnt the case and that she was always available and never felt like I was a burden.Overall, I really appreciate the team and would work with them again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend The Diamond Group.

The Diamond Group gave us a great experience on our first home inspection. The process was thorough and easy, from scheduling the appointment to receiving the report. Don and his assistant were wonderful and indepth in their inspection, which took about 3 hours. We recieved the report which included detailed pictures 3 days following the inspection. We highly recommend the Diamond Group!!

The team was extremely helpful and thorough. Don was great at identifying the issues but clearly explaining what was a serious problem versus what was less severe. After the inspection I had a few follow ups which were addressed immediately. The owner also advised me on a few items that ultimately saved me money. Well worth the money.

My husband and I hired The Diamond Group for our home inspection and it was the best decision we made!! I spoke to a few people in their office prior to the home inspection and they were friendly and very informative. Don, our inspector, was early for the appointment and when I got there, he already had equipment out and was taking pictures of our roof. He introduced himself and gave me a gift box (shaped like a house! How cute!) with a couple bottles of water, a tape measure and a pen and note pad so that we could take notes along the way. Don went above and beyond and thoroughly reviewed each and every issue with us during the inspection. He suggested a number of preventative maintenance tips and made sure to point out the major issues. Don was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions with a detailed explanation. We received our report the next day and it was very well done. The major issues were all listed at the beginning of the report and details were provided throughout the report on everything we discussed. They even provide recall reports for all the major appliances in your home! The Diamond Group also provides a year membership to Home Owners Network. I just logged on and was pleasantly surprised by the pages and pages of discounts including Lowe’s and Ace Hardware!! The site has an ‘Ask the expert’ section and provides information a number of pre-screened contractors. Sorry for the long review, but I honestly can’t say enough great things about The Diamond Group Home Inspectors.
