Honestly, no idea what we are paying for. I was told that it might take a year before some of the treatments were effective. In our third year of treatment and our yard had 3 times as much crabgrass and other weeds than before. The only noticably effect had been on dandelion pants.Pictures attached are a snap sample of what our whole yard looks like. Well be cancelling and going with another service.

We were told we would be notified prior to any treatments as we have a doggy door and do not want the dogs to be in the yard when they treat the grass (for very obvious reasons). We received 1 notification for the first treatment and nothing again -we spoke with a manager and they said they would handle it personally and would call prior to arrival. Once again they showed up with zero notice. They have left the gate on my fence open so my dogs could run out and have very clearly missed parts of my yard. I pay for pest control and to this point they have not done any grub control and my yard is overrun with them. You get what you pay for in this instance.

My first time using a lawn service- I have done it myself for the past maybe 15 years. Granted I have nothing to compare it to and it has been a wet spring, but lawn has never looked this good ever. Employees are always friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Lawn Sense. Very pleased.

Our lawn looks great, and Ive noticed over the years that many of our neighbors have made the switch to Lawn Sense. Great crew that is always pleasant & courteous, and have answered my questions about different issues with knowledge & experience, and make great recommendations.

I have used this company for my mothers yard. It was THE WORST experience we have ever had. They want everyones money and want to do half the work. There was one guy past out in the company truck outside my moms house instead of completing the job. It seemed like he was on some type of drug. He looked like he was dying. The company name is Lawn Sense but they act like they dont have any sense. Its bad when they have to use their own employees for their customer reviews on here. Never again!

Lawn Sense makes all the sense in the world. They use organic materials ...safe for pets. They are always on time, they make lawn observations and recommendations where needed. there services cost not much more that if I did it myself but then again my time is worth something. All in all they are they best and most bang for the buck I have ever found.

Unfortunately, over the last three years of using their service, we have developed more weeds and crab grass with each passing year. Before hiring Lawn Sense, I had found that it was about the same price for me to purchase the lawn treatments (from Lincoln Way Supply) and do the job myself. However, even with my limited experience I met with far better success than this company has with our lawn. Sadly, I cannot recommend their quality of work.

I changed over to Lawn Sense from another lawn service several years ago. The other lawn service used liquid chemicals which I did not like and they were not dependable on their schedule.Lawn Sense uses dry fertilizer and they are very dependable on their schedule of applications. I like the advance call I get from Lawn Sense as to when they will be out because I have my lawn cut every Friday andit is important to me when the application is put down.I will stay with Lawn Sense and continue to recommend them to my neighbors and friends.

We just had the first application from Lawn Sense, so I really cant comment on how well your service is going to perform. However, I can comment on how Professional the Tech was and how Neat and Clean you equipment was kept. This to me shows that a company really cares about their business. Brian, the Tech, introduced himself and shook my hand. I told him we had to leave for a while. He said that was no problem that he would do the work and leave the bill on the door. It looks like the whole yard was taken care of in a neat and professional manner. I will be able to post a better review about the process after we get further into the growing season.

I started using Lawn Sense midway through last year and have signed up for a full years worth of service this year. I am very happy with their quality and price, and especially happy with their customer service. They have always been quick to respond back to me with any service or billing questions i have had since I an new to receiving professional lawn treatment. After each treatment, they leave a personalized report on my door telling me exactly what treatments were done inclusive of the chemicals they used and how much, as well as any additional findings related to my lawns health. Very happy customer.

Began with this company several years ago because we had a small dog and their products are organic and not harmful to pets. We stayed with them because our grass is thick, very green and healthy. If there is a problem, just call and they will solve it in a couple of days. Great people.

We were happy with our service until recently. The services renew yearly. We had a service plan in place. Last year I added on a service (thinking it was a one time occurrence). We were quite surprised and unhappy when Lawn Sense performed a fall aeration, early fall liming, and fall overseeing again this year --quite a hefty bill totaling almost $300. Last year we received a telephone call notifying us and confirming the upcoming service. We did not receive a call this year, and if we had, we would have declined this extra service. I called the company and was told they sent out a letter with the services to be performed this year. We did not receive this. We only had the original letter and pricing from our first year. Ashley also told me that Bob would contact me to discuss the issue. We have hear nothing. Needless to say, we will be taking our services elsewhere.

Weve had lawn sense at 2 properties now over the last 8 years, and couldnt be happier. We had another company destroy about 1/4 of my lawn while doing some work, and lawn sense credited us part of their work until the new grass came in. Their office staff has always been great to work with, and their technician have listened and responded appropriately to our concerns. I would not hesitate to use this company.

The technician explained everything to us and has been very helpful in solving our weed problem that the other service could not seem to get right after numerous call backs. Switched from a nationally-known franchise to Lawn Sense at the beginning of 2015 and couldnt be happier! Besides the quality of the product being used, and the care with which it is applied, there are two aspects of Lawn Senses service that are especially appreciated: 1) they call at least 24hrs in advance to advise you of the upcoming application, which allows sufficient time to mow lawn or carry out any other steps in preparation for treatment. 2) after treatment, the technician provides detailed notes not only on what was applied, but also subjective and objective observations about current state of lawn, problem areas (if any), suggested corrective actions (if necessary), etc. This is extremely valuable as the customer obtains both a broad overview of the health of their lawn, and a detailed understanding of what is being - and should be - done ongoing. Lastly would just compliment Lawn Sense of their professionalism /and/ their customer-centric attitude. REALLY a pleasure to deal with this company and recommend them to you without reservation!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Lawn Sense treated my yard for a season and a half and my lawn is practically destroyed. At first I thought they did a good job because I didnt have weeds at the beginning of the season but I would take weeds over this any day. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Early last summer my neighbors lawn looked awful, brown and bald spots. I felt sorry for him, because he tries so hard to beat the Jones, LOL. One day, I noticed a Lawn Sense truck in front of his home. By early fall his grass looked gorgeous. Today his grass looks beautiful, like green carpet. I called Lawn Sense for service. Good Service. Will say Ive tried numerous services since we moved and Lawn Sense was the only we have renewed for a 2nd year. They came out promptly when I noticed weeds and applied a spot service for free. Only issue is they performed Aeration and overseeding when weather was still hot and dry. For what that service costs, wouldve preferred a more tailored service.

We switched to Lawn Sense from Scots/TruGreen and have not looked back. They provide a far superior product to our lawn and ensure all areas of our property are covered. We also added the grub treatment which was a problem in the past. The lawn technicians are always happy to answer and my questions, return for weed breakout problems, and make sure nothing is left around areas for our kids to touch by accident.

Awesome company... my husband and I have tried other lawn care places throughout the years like Kapp’s as well as TruGreen but then switched to lawn Sense after a friend recommended them. Lawn Sense has better affordable prices and the quality of their work is way better. The men are also very kind.. I definitely recommend them for any of your lawn care needs

Just started using LawnSense this year and so far I am happy with the service. Cant comment on the lawn care yet, but the technicians have been friendly and have taken the time to discuss my lawn and what to expect. Customer service goes a long way and so far LawnSense gets that and has met my expectations. Will do an updated review later once I see how the yard looks at the end of the season.

Lawn Sense is affordable and reliable. They cover the whole yard when they show up and I am starting to see improvements in my yard after using Lawn Sense for 2 years.

They have done a good job. My lawn has improved significantly with their applications and I have signed up again for this year.The aeration and over seeding has eliminated the bare spots and thickened the grass.

Lawn Sence has serviced the company were my wife works form many years, probably the lowest bidder?? They have repeatedly had no regaurd for the vehicles that the employees drive. Every time they show up to weed wack they coat every car with grass and dirt with no respect!! I have talked to someone who might be in charge on two occasions,he does not care and thinks a few blade of grass are no Big Deal. This company has no Respect for your property they just want to get paid!! You always get what you pay for. Not BBB registered, go figure...
