The Cardinal team is very knowledgeable, and helpful.A good source of advice on difficult challenges, and also often willing to go above and beyond expectations by researching options and solutions.Importantly also, if a project is outside of their sweetspot, they will recommend another vendor. Or sometimes they give me the advice to save money and do it on my own. I like service providers who know their value proposition and do not try to promise too much.

I have been using Cardinal for several years both in Spring and Fall for a wide variety of services: pruning, mulching, planting, clean-up, lawn reseeding, etc. They have always done an excellent job. They are unfailingly professional and courteous and very hard working. Their cost is quite reasonable. I am particularly pleased with their clean-up when they complete their work. I am pleased to be able to recommend them without reservation.

Unfortunately Im not happy with the work Cardinal did on our small project. They were communicative and prompt and originally gave a reasonable estimate. I ended up completing about half of the quoted mulching and weeding myself because of the wait time. They did a good job pulling some unwanted plants out but the rest of the work wasnt up to expectations. They did not edge several of the garden beds at all. The mulch was spread very thin/was bare in spots so immediately filled with weeds again (the portions I mulched have not had any weeds/used about 3 of mulch). The areas they filled in with new grass came up 100% crabgrass/weeds so I had to rip it all out and plant my own grass (which is not filled with crabgrass - I realize they cant magically control weeds but Im not sure why the areas they seeded ended up not sprouting any normal grass at all but purely crabgrass). Then the actual cost was quite a bit over the estimate, even though I had done a fair amount of work myself beforehand. I just expected better quality for the price. I think perhaps they are better with trees or design than with small general jobs?

Love to have our yard looking great so we enjoy working in the yard. Some work is beyond us though so we have always counted on Cardinal Landscape. Very knowledgeable with a concern for how things will look in the future, not just for that day or month. Honest and reliable

We have been working with Cardinal for several years and they have always been very responsive in helping us work out various options in our yard. Nate and Kait originally designed and planted my front garden, which looks great. Since then, they’ve done spring and fall clean ups for me, as well as planting bulbs. They took care of replacing a couple of plants that were still under warranty and are easy to contact via email with questions or requests.

Ive used Cardinal Landscaping for two medium-sized jobs, and they did fantastic jobs both times. The first was to plant a very steep, very rocky, very shady hillside with different types of ground covers. They suggested the types and amount of plants. They are thriving today two years later. The second job was to remove old rotting railroad ties edging and replace it with Belgian block edging along a large swath of my front and side yard. The Cardinal team did both jobs professionally, on budget, and on time. I will use them for my next landscaping job (whatever that is).
