For several months waste Management has been tacking bogus charges on to my bill as a commercial customer. then they tell me the only way they will issue a credit is if I sign a new two-year agreement. I dont think so. then they give me the whole song and dance about how you cannot cancel the contract without aCertified letter which I did send. I strongly discourage anyone from using this company!My next call will be to the better business bureau.

Unfortunately I can relate to all the posters below. Ive had nothing but poor service from Waste Management. Collectors dont take trash, are to lazy to pick up the actual trash can and dump the trash into the truck. The only chance your trash will get taken is if its under 10lbs and can be removed by taking the lid off and picking the bag out of the trash can. Their customer service is equally awful, most of the time blaming you for not following the rules. I wrote an email to them yesterday as I witnessed my trash being skipped over for at least the 6th or 7th time. They said theyd send someone out by the end of the day to pick it up. Never happened. This is why monopolies are bad kids. Going to cancel my service and take care of my trash myself. Not paying for a service any longer that is rarely performed.

I’ve lived in my house for six months now.. they miss my trash pick up almost every other week. I was told I would Receive a recycling bin six months ago and I’ve called every Monday sense and still no recycling bin. Asked to talk to the supervisor, they told me they can’t do it and that they’ll send an email regarding it and I will get a call by the end of the day l.. this is now the third time with no call 🤔 cool.

I pay for weekly trash pickup. Three times they have forgotten to pick up my trash. Last week they emptied my trash can halfway, and left the rest of the trash in it. I called on Friday, and they told me it would be picked up on Monday. On Monday morning it still wasn’t picked up, so I called again, and they assured me it would be picked up by the end of the day. Now it is Tuesday morning, and the trash is still sitting there. Do your job, morons.

They leave behind a mess several times this year! We put our trash in cans & yet they still manage to leave half torn bags of trash in my front yard. Seriously?? All you have to do is dump the van in truck. They leave trash behind. Terrible company!!

They skip my pick up at least once a month. One of the drivers was kicking my trash bags and ripped one open and then left it when it was traditional household items. Didnt know that was something they should be doing. Be pretty awesome if we had another company that would service this area.

June 2019: This issue has been resolved. Thank you Tonya!June 2019: Two months ago, I had the same occurrence. I put out bundles of yard debris, along with 2 bags of trash and they were not picked up. This time is even more frustrating because I placed the bundles across my driveway, so that the workers could readily see them and not perhaps confuse them with a pile of leaves (photos below). Ive been informed that a route mgr. would be calling me.April 2019: This morning I am faced with the same issue. I phoned in my complaint, was given this reference number 10481217 and was told the route manager would be informed and call me today.I do hope this gets addressed today. The last time this happened, it took 3 or 4 weeks for the bundles to be picked up.I have a stack of bundles of branches and this is now the 4th week they have not been picked up. Customer service confirmed that I am within the guidelines of what can be left out, so that isnt the issue. Theyve added an alert that was to be sent to the driver as they approach the property, but nothing has worked. Ive asked that a manager call me today, but was informed that there doesnt seem to be a way in the system to guarantee this will occur. Very frustrating and albeit ironic, since Management is in their name. On the plus side, their customer service is always very pleasant.

Worse company ever to deal with. Even when you speak to a manager she did not care at all. I had to call 6 times 6 days in a row to have my normal garbage to be picked up because they chose to not pick it up. Every day they said they will get it tomorrow and it never happened. They got it a day before the normal pickup day lol unbelievable. It took an entire week. They gave me $4 back. What a joke.

Terrible , for 30 pickups they are half empty, no refund, but once they are a bit over full and the add on $125 over charge for a one time charge, just crazy. When I have an empty dumpster they offer no refund, terrible way to treat a long time customer.

I do not recommend these people! I own a business and my dumpster for recycling was contaminated by someone using it without my knowledge. These people want to charge me a $402.00 contamination fee. They told me that they will remove the $402.00 if I renew the contract. I feel like they are trying to extort the money from me! I tried to negotiate a lessor fee instead of a contract renewal, but they totally refused.Also, when I asked to speak to a supervisor, the customer rep told me all the supervisors are in a meeting and she eventually hung up on me!

Im tired of cleaning up garbage that isnt even mine. Today Im cleaning up a mirror that was in my neighbors garbage that was broken when it was THROWN into the truck and ended up across the street, in front of my house on the street and my sidewalk.

Commercial customer for over 25 years, over the past several years WM has increased our monthly collection fee on an annual basis, now they are charging us over $500 a month to pick up a few bags of trash at our business. We called WM to cancel our contract as we have another hauler who will pick it up for less than $100, with a month to month contract. WM said we cant cancel our contract with them, we have another 18 months to go on our contract to cancel it. They said we had to send a certified letter, then their legal department would review and get back to us. Letter was sent over a month ago, no response but the bills keep coming even though another hauler is picking up our trash. They are taking advantage of folks with their contract language, next call will be to KDKA - Get Marty.

Every single week like clock work these workers put my recycling in their dump truck, not sure why since I separate it by 15-20 feet. Why would I let my recycling pile up for wks just to have the trash guy pick it up? This infuriates me so much, we’re HUGE on recycling in our home so all of our efforts are literally thrown to waste! I’m so upset this keeps happening.

Horrible service! For three months Ive asked Waste Mgmt to replace my trash can (they broke lid on current can). Called FOUR times. 28 min last week.40 min today. Im told again today, it will be filed with Escalation. Im unable to use the can since wild animals get into the trash, so for 3 months Ive kept my trash in my garage. AND Wast Mgmt. insists that to replace it, I have to leave it in my yard for replacement on an unknown date. Ever called to ask for a pick-up of an extra item? Again, a 20 min call and they insist on upfront pymt of the 5 bux over the phone, instead of just adding to bills. I block complete lunch hours when I have to call Waste Management!!!!

At least every other week they skip our garbage pickup. I got charged $5 for paying my bill one day late. Maybe I should deduct $5 from my bill for every time they show up late!

They keep skipping pick up at my house! I have called 3 times TODAY to get someone to pick it up, and their drivers keep marking the support tickets as closed without picking up my house. What am I even paying for?
