Steidl & Steinberg has a very professional and competent staff. I recommend them. If theres anything that, I would say, needs improvement is communication with the client. The only detractor is the lack of communication throughout the process. A quick e-mail now and then letting us know where we were would have been nice. For instance, we now believe the bankruptcy to be complete because we are receiving “Review Us Now” emails. We have no definitive communication to that end. Just to be clear, this is not a negative review by any means, I’m not unhappy with them, it’s just a thought.

Filing for bankruptcy can be embarrassing and scary. Kenny put me at ease, right away. Everything was explained in plain English, so you dont have to have a law degree to understand it all.I also had the pleasure of working with Julie Steidl. Between Kenny and Julie, everything went smoothly, and any questions I had, they both answered quickly.I cannot thank this firm enough, for all their help. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing help with bankruptcy issues. They know their stuff, when it comes to getting rid of that monkey on your back.

Paid top dollar for the best and got far from those results. Sure, the filing got done, but it took 8 months to get the paperwork completed and they did NOT exclude my home mortgage so good luck ever getting another, even tho weve never been more than slightly behind it shows as wiped clean. They did not exclude my auto loan either, but thats not as big of an issue. You dont always get what you paid for, I think I could have gotten this done for $149.99 lol.

I was misguided by Ken Steidl and when I questioned his direction (which was wrong) I was talked to condescendingly, interrupted when trying to talk and then completely ignored for weeks. No return phone calls or emails and was left in the dark to fend for myself.

Ken Steidl and the rest of this firm are some of the best people Ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Despite numerous calls at once, the secretary makes sure your call is handled promptly and courteously, and she makes sure the messages get to the person who needs them. Each time my call has been returned within 24 hours, sometimes late into the evening. Our complex bankruptcy case was handled with utmost care, and Ken fought for us at every turn. Ive been to two hearings due to converting a chapter 13 case to a chapter 7, and each time I was treated respectfully and communication was clear. Ken has spent enough time on the phone with me so we could carve out a clear path forward.

My experience with Ken Steidl was great. But I did call the office twice to find out information on my bankruptcy and I was told the assistant on my account would return my call but never did. So communication with office was very disappointing.

I have Ken as my lawyer and he is impossible to get ahold of. Ive left several messages and have not received a call back. I was promised several things would happen and it has not. Lauren met me at the trustees meeting, spoke with me briefly and disappeared. I had updated information that was submitted to the office weeks prior to my meeting and my file was never updated. Ann the receptionist was very rude when I called in. Julie hung the phone up on me as well. I wish they had better communication. They take your money, but cant return a phone call.

This firm is the best, and I say that based on first hand experience. When I first consulted with them, through to my discharge was about a three year time span. I was upside down but gainfully employed when I first consulted. Although my case was handled and discharged, getting there wasnt easy!! I had my call(s) returned 2 times out of many attempts to reach either Ken Steidl or Ian Friend(Paralegal)... never did speak to Ken. I was receiving huge documents to review, make changes/correct, sign, and return the day before they were due to the court. The receptionist Nicole is rude and belittling. I am not a client but have helped a family member who needed to return information. Going through bankruptcy is a difficult ordeal and a little customer service would be appreciated.

Needed $1300 to file bankruptcy with this firm. Didnt have it. Borrowed $800 and a year later not able to come up remainder so we stopped our request and asked for refund of unused monies paid. My husband passed and I had to look into filing again. Went to Legal Services and was told we did not have enough assets for creditors to collect on so we did not need to file bankruptcy. Steidl and Steinberg did not tell me this. They are just like the rest only in it for the money. Check with more than one firm before you choose bankruptcy. I feel very cheated by this form for not giving us this advise from the beginning.

Pretty bad at getting back to client!!!!!! Have a friend that was in a car accident has placed numerous calls to firm with no return calls from paralegals or anyone within firm.

My wife and I had hired a very expensive attorney to take care of my bankruptcy after a serious injury. To our surprise our attorney was caught embezzling funds from our account. Steidl and Steinberg took over our totally screwed up bankruptcy account and not only corrected all the mistakes, but also stuck with us during all the trials of the previous attorney until everything was cleared up. This was one of the most trying times in our lives and ( Julie Steidl ) was our guardian angel. After the bankruptcy, one creditor tried destroying our credit, and once again Julie jumped in to get that creditor off our backs, and within two weeks it was cleared up. I would recommend this firm to anyone who has a bankruptcy or credit situation and needs an attorney. We are proof that the most expensive attorney doesnt always yield the best results. I would just go see these people....they cared about what happened to us !!
