I contacted Tims TV to fix my 47 inch LG LCD TV. There was a power issue with it. Tim picked up the TV for a $50 fee, did his repairs, and brought it back to me several days later, for a total repair charge of just over $300. The TV worked fine for a short while, and then stopped working. I called Tim back, and he picked it up and made some additional repairs. I got it back a week later. The TV worked fine for a couple days, and then I started to have issues with it again. I have now called no less than 4 times and spoken to Bill, who seems to have no interest in dealing with customers whatsoever and just hangs up on me with no real service orientation (no thanks, good bye, just a hangup). Bottom line, I have yet to hear back from Tim, which is unacceptable. Clearly, he is blowing me off at this point, with no intent to rectify the issue, even though his receipt says his service is warranted for 60 days from the date of repair. I find it utterly reprehensible that a business can operate like this. It is certain that this company will not be on my recommendation list, and have provided negative reports to the Better Business Bureau and Angies List. If you have a TV repair need, I recommend you take your business elsewhere.

I have been doing business with Tim for the past 20 years weather I go to his shop or Tim comes to my house. He has always been very professional, friendly, and reasonably priced. Tim also works in a timely fashion if he has to take your tv to work on outside of your house.

I brought a television in for repair for my father. It was explained in a note from him that neither the buttons on the tv, or the remote control would reliably turn the TV on. After dropping it off (without the remote), my father received a message that they needed the remote. I called them back immediately to let them know I would bring the remote in that day before I went to work. They explained to me that they got the TV working, but that the buttons on the side would not work. I explicitly asked TWICE about the remote working, as they had just called to request it. I was answered TWICE that the remote control would work. I approved the work on these conditions and agreed to pay the additional $82 service fee. Upon picking up the television, (after two trips during which they were closed, apparently there working hours posted are flexible), I asked AGAIN about the remote control working, and was told it would work.Upon getting the TV home, i realized very quickly, the remote control DOES NOT work! I called in and spoke to Bill who works there and who I had spoken to before. His communication skills are terrible, and he claims that he did not say anything about the remote control working. I am completely baffled at how this could happen when I asked THREE separate times about the remote control working. I then attempted to get in touch with the owner tim. Bill tells me that he will talk to Tim and have him call me. The next day I call, and Bill says that Tim will call me the next day around 2pm. No call from tim, I call and Bill answers and says that Tim told him to handle it and basically, he says screw you. I demand to speak to Tim and explain I will call everyday until I get a response from Tim. Two days later, Tim calls and leaves a message early in the morning explaining that they could not fix the remote as there supplier does not carry the needed part and to contact him if I have questions.I am tired of trying to fix this with them, but will continue to try and contact tim with little hope of any offer to correct the issue from them. At no point have I been offered an alternative to, OH WELL...At best this is a case of poor communication skills from Bill, along with terrible customer service. At worst it is shady business. Please dont expect quality service here, or at least get in writing what will be done, which I should have, as their word is no good.
