We came for a gymnastics meet, and was pleasantly surprised by the event over all. The host did a great job.The building itself, needs some updates because it is an older location. But it was odd to that this building was in its location decent street access yet there was no traffic of than the families for the meet.Parking was easy, getting around inside was easy and will marked.
This facility was built many years ago and it has gone through a rejuvenation. We’re really glad that it has because it is a great facility for the city and amazing events have been here and can still come here. I’m really glad to see the effort being put into this place. King Cotton Holiday Classic is back and the public is welcoming it with open arms. This is the perfect facility for it in Pine Bluff and a great city to host such an event.
Its hard to rate a facility of this kind. I attended a high school graduation. That being said, I dont know how much was facility & how much was school. But - the Convention Center seems to be fairly well kept. There were ushers & security guards, the snack bar was open & restroom facilities operational. Police directed parking lot traffic
It was great wow weee😜🤪
My twinkies graduated from PBHS🥰
Good evening xperience gotta go back in 17 days
Bathrooms are awful! 2 soap containers actually had soap in them. The whole place was just nasty
Undergoing renovations but it is improving very much. Used to have major concerts and headliners when it was newer. An older facility, hopefully the new renovations will bring it back to its former glory.
Cool
My Son Did It! He graduated from UAPB this past weekend! We had a blast! Memories for Life! The atmosphere was joyful and my entire family could not have asked for a happier moment to reflect and embrace the love for our Child. Way to go Nupe! Enjoy the rest of your life journey! I will be there to see it all. Dad and Mom love you!
Ball games were good. Couldnt believe they charge you to park in the library parking lot. Smh
Really clean and roomy for our graduation. Thanks!!
Please be aware of what type of bags and items allowed inside here in order to save yourself a trip. Signs may not be posted before hand.
Attended the legendary King Cotton Classic high school basketball tournament. The convention center is looking really nice.
Im giving this place a 1 star rating bc I attended a gymnastics event here and I am handicapped and cant climb stairs. There werent even any warning posted that it wasnt ADA accessible. There was no ramp, elevator, escalator, nothing and you had to climb stairs to get up to the seats to watch the event. When I asked the employee sitting at the door where a ramp was bc Im handicapped they told me no you will have to just climb those few stairs there bc theres no room to sit on the floor. If I would have come in my wheelchair I wonder what they would have told me. Also, they didnt even offer to give me my money back for entry if I couldnt climb up the stairs. Thats what made me made. I finally decided I didnt cause myself all that pain to ride in the car for over 3 and a half hours to go to this po dunk rinky dink town and convention center that isnt even ADA accessible. If my gym decides to go to this competition next time and they arent ADA accessible, I will just file a lawsuit for not being ADA accessible.
Very disaapointing that so few doors to the smaller stage area auditorium are locked when there is an event there but definitely impressed by the concession stand.
Very nice place for meetings and conventions.
What HAPPENED?The Pine Bluff Conversation Center looks haunted and deserted but holding on for the refresh of Pine Bluff. Staff members were nice.
Enjoyed the King Cotton Basketball Tournament at The Convention Center. I was hoping for Better Support from The Community

If youre looking for a place to have an event such as a wedding reception a book signing a city meeting Im more the convention center is the place to go.
Constructed between 1963 and 1968, the Pine Bluff Civic Center was internationally renowned architect Edward Durell Stones only commission for a civic complex in his native state of Arkansas. It was listed on the National Register on June 1, 2005.
Came here for a reception when we arrived there was a cocktail hour outside the actual reception. Everything was beautiful but the drinks were a bit pricey.

It is time to renovate our center and began having more events for the community here. It is time to move Pine Bluff forward, and the convention center is part of it.
You can tell the management is working to bring more events to this venue. Pine Bluff needs the Convention Center to be active.
