We purchased a home with John & Jared back in January of this year, and it was a fantastic experience. Even months later, they are still helping us resolve issues that have come up. 100% recommend going with this company if you want someone on your side throughout your entire experience of purchasing a new home.

I just want to say that this place costed my family and I so much financial troubles and I am thankful every day that we no longer live in a home managed by them.To start, they often lost our rent even when we physically handed it to an employee at the desk of the office, and threatened eviction every time they did. The possibility of being evicted was, I guess, understandable on their end, but for us, it was completely unfair because the notice letter came due to the poor management of the employees at the office. If we were paying rent online often, it would make more sense that they would have not received it because of a glitch or a bug (which would be horrible nonetheless), but when we were physically turning in checks to pay for our rent? Seriously?Secondly, the homes managed here are awful — well, at least the one that we got. Take note that my family and I drove from Chicago to Phoenix in the summer, and we were in an Extended Stay for temporary shelter while we finalize our move-in to this house. They kept pushing our move-in date later and later because of last minute “touches” to the house that didn’t even mean a thing! What I mean by that is that the house’s appliances broke every other week, it was infested with bed bugs, and the water was yellow and smelled awfully. How are you going to cost us hundreds in a hotel while “polishing” the place and doing nothing about the bugs especially? Thanks so much for a great welcome to Phoenix!My family and I now live divided because of the fights we got into here; I’m not blaming this company for our family split, but for the horrible communication they offered when things went wrong here and the terrible house that we rented from their company and its owner. Horrible place, stay away!

I rented from this management company for three years. The process for everything is slow and they use a jack of all trades master of none repair guys. I had a main water leak that took 10 days to complete because they dropped the ball then they only refunded me half of the extra water that was charged. The pool was out of service for a month while they fixed it in the middle of summer with no reimbursement for the huge inconvenience. We had a broken window that they told us was $2700 to repair. I called my own vendor and it was only $750 to fix! They are a shady company to rent from and I do not recommend!!

As a property owner, my biggest issue with AZREPM was communication. I wasnt notified when my tenants ended their month-to-month lease and found out my unit was empty when I saw a Zillow posting. It seemed like I never had a consistent contact - not sure if there was a lot of turnover or not, but email responses would take days or not respond. I ended up dropping them and managing the rental on my own and am saving a lot more money/month. I was also contacted 3 or 4 different times to leave a positive Google review...

Where do I start... A lot of people throw reviews out without a lot of explanation as to why they feel that way. I want to be clear when I say that John and Jared and their entire crew are nothing short of exceptional. We needed to purchase our first home in less than 30 days, with less than stellar credit, in an insane market. From the first meeting they made us feel like family. They didnt waste time talking about what might happen they just took the challenges we gave them and came up with solutions. Immediately. My wife is a healthcare worker so they used their experience and knowledge of various government programs to help us get the assistance we needed. They took every step they could to ensure that we got the best deal and literally held our hands through the entire process. If you have questions, if you have doubts, if its your first time or whatever your situation may be, you can rest assured that this team will get the job done. We are proof of that!! After looking at the notes on your account I can see that a number of people have let you know that the mail keys are not the responsibility of the management company. You will need to reach out to locksmith if you wish to access your mail.One of the worst companies I have rented from in over 6 years of renting in this area.Save your time, money, energy, pride, self-respect and anything else they have tried to steal from me. Choose any other property management company or use a private realtor when renting. You may want to just hire an attorney before renting because youll probably need one by the time you move out.

I had a great experience after I drove to the office and spoke with the secretary at the Tempe location. Adrianna, who answered my question in full and didn’t rush me while I was getting my questions out, an was the only reason I gave this place 2 stars. The property manager Dominic on the other hand was very, very rude and unprofessional. I had called before driving to their office and spoke to Dominic who was beyond rude. When I addressed the fact I felt he was talking rude and unprofessional, his reply was, so. I asked was there a manager or anyone above him and he said there was no one and continued to be very rude . I have lived at my address for 3 years, they just started to manage my property a few months ago and this was my first interaction with them and it has saddened me that this was a very bad first impression.

Applied for a rental unit in January. Right after I submitted the application was told that the owner pulled the unit from the market. Agent told me I could use toward another rental or wait 30 days to get app fee refunded since I applied for a unit no longer on the market. No other available properties were suitable.To that point was pleased with service. Front office staff in particular very pleasant. After a month I called about the refund. Was told agents in meeting and would call me back. No call. Called again, same result. Called again, same result. After a month of this I drove to their office and was told it was a miscommunication about a refund. Absolutely not true.Reason for review is not the $45. Its the horrible call back experience. Something is seriously broken in a company when its agents care so little and do not respect its clients. How much time over the course of a month does it take to return one phone call? Hindsight: happy I did not rent that property. Would be a serious issue if I had a broken water pipe and dealt with people who just dont care.

John and his team are excellent in every way. We used them to purchase a home. They knew the market and the process to get things moving. They provided listings accurate to what we were looking for and made viewing those listings happen very quickly. They spent a great deal of time with us or communicating with us, I often wondered how they juggled other clients. Their professionalism and expertise were top notch in a fast paced housing market. I called 2 weeks ago about a rental listed online and, not only did they never respond to me, they charged me $1 to sign up with a third-party app to “get on the waiting list” to tour the property—which was apparently not even being shown due to the pandemic. Despite leaving a message, registering for this app, and providing my availability, I never heard back from anyone at this company. I understand that businesses may be operating differently at the moment, but to charge customers just to SIGN UP to view your properties when you aren’t even showing them is scammy and incredibly unprofessional.

Had to find a new apartment very quickly due to toxic living environments and everyone here made a scary situation into a wonderful and easy experience. Quick to respond to all my questions and concerns. Utmost professional courtesy. I will definitely continue to refer everyone to this management team. Thank you all so much.

For what we paid them, it was not worth the fee. We had 3 or 4 different reps, most of which took forever to answer our issues (unable to help find someone do our flood irrigation was one thing).Overall the owner as well was disorganized as a realtor and this was shown in the property management.Not recommended...would have been better off doing it myself.

John, the owner, is unfairly evicting Evelyn Nieto during a pandemic after she called to have her AC fixed. I am calling on this company to rescind their 30 day termination notice, stop the harassment, make overdue repairs, and renew Evelyn’s lease. The Phoenix Tenants Union will not stop supporting Evelyn Nieto in the fight against this morally bankrupt property management.

I had the pleasure to work with Shanta at AZREAPM. She showed me several places and listened to my concerns about each one and helped me find the perfect place that was right for me. It was an absolutely pleasure working with John, Morgan, and Michelle. As a first-time home buyer, I was fairly clueless about the process and the entire team made it very simple. They were quick to answer any and all questions I had and did most of the heavy lifting. I just had to send them a house I wanted to see, and they set everything up. I cant believe its been almost a year since John and his team helped us find our home. John was there every step of the way. He supported us through all of our worries and concerns. These idiots made false promises to prospective tenants. they told them i would be installing extra plumbing for a dryer when there was none in the unit to begin with. also, i got the feeling that a lot of time was wasted during the tenant selection process because paperwork was sitting on someones desk. for example, it took a month from the time i hired them to when the listing was posted. also, they will not be present when showing your property. they put a credit card reader on the door. they told me alan showings would be in person when i interviewed them

I was referred to AZ Real Estate and Property Management by one of my best friends and ex-roommate Tiffannii who works for them. Communication was great! In addition, John’s team really seemed to care. Each one of them were always up-to-date on what was happening. Even on the rare occasion I was unable to reach John which was very very rare, (he even answered my calls when he was on vacation in Mexico!), I could always get answers from Jared, Michelle, or Tiffannii. With all the ups and downs involved in buying a first home, I really felt that John and his team cared and were on my side. A++++

Dont even bother. They will try to get over on the tenants who pay rent on time and try to leave you stuck with their bills. Property 1615 infested with roaches and animal feces all on the side of the property. Take action and dont let them get over on you!!!!!

I was a previous vendor of this company. They never paid on time and still owe my company money. They are not professional and have major attitudes. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

Rude and unhelpful. My former property manager Shanta Campbell asked me to stop calling her to ask about repairs, which took months to fix. Our disconnected washing machines stood stacked outside blocking my kitchen for weeks, the “new” machines have already had to be repaired twice, and the gate to the apartment has been broken/missing fof more than 6 months.Rent from anyone else.

As a Friend and I were contemplating buying a house as an investment property; AZ Real Estate and Property Management was recommended to us through a mutual friend. As first time home buyers, we knew very little about the process or what went into buying a home. John Fagundes, Jared Cranford and Michelle Dryden could not have been more accommodating to us and our enormous list of questions. The team responded quickly, gave us additional information about properties we were interested in (which allowed us to save time and make decisions more quickly) and they were very flexible with dates and times to go look at properties. In the middle of looking for a home, my friend and I ran into a personal setback that postponed us from buying a house for an additional three months. To our surprise, both John and the team were extremely patient with us, they kept in consistent contact throughout the process and frequently asked if there was anything they could do to help. After recently closing on our beautiful new home, I am so grateful that we chose AZ Real Estate and Property Management and I am proud to not just consider them our realtors, but our close friends. Michelle is a pro! We had a very complex sale involving a rental property. She went above and beyond to make the deal happen. Even when things got tough, her enthusiasm and Never Say Die attitude never faltered! I cannot thank you enough!

Worst management company ever. Disorganized ineffective and nobody at the top seems to know what anybody else below them is doing. Go elsewhere and save yourself time energy and money.....Everyone please read the response below. This is an example of what I consider unprofessional behavior. I guess the privacy of a tenant is not valued within this company. When I asked John to take it down, because it contains personal information, he informed me that it was his business, he is the owner and he can do what he wants. This is a sad response to an even sadder situation. Instead of recovering customer service, he takes to the internet to say that I havent paid my rent. I didnt want to name any names, but he took this matter one step further. Classy AZREAPM, really classy.Further update: I guess he realized that telling the world I was late on my rent was not a great idea, because he edited it and his original nasty gram was erased. No worries, I got screen shots and will take it up with them personally. Ugh... ridiculous!
