My name Jason and I own BlueSteel Builds LLC. I have always had a passion for metalwork and it was not until I met Simon with Squickmons’s Engineering that I moved way beyond my expectations in happiness with growing my business. I purchased a 5x5 plasma table from him and have enjoyed most moments in building my knowledge base. I would be lying if I said there was no frustration in my lack of experience and ability to tell the table what to do correctly. I found that the majority of errors were human caused. In the 3 years I have owned his machine, I have experienced excellent customer service and will continue to utilize his knowledge and eagerness to help in building my knowledge base. I hope to continue to grow as a fabricator and artist. I know that as I do I will hopefully grow into his next innovations and machinery he dreams up! Squickmons’s Engineering is a solid choice if you are looking to move forward in the plasma community! Thank you Simon for helping BlueSteel Builds LLC bring “Concepts to Creations” to many happy customers!

Recently purchased the 4x8 Table for our High School Fabrication Program. Amazing product. The shipping, setup and training was excellent. The CAD/CAM/CNC software is very easy to learn and is powerful with many features. The students have been easily able pick up on how to use this table. The product also has many safety features that keep them from doing any damage to the table itself, and of course to keep themselves safe from harm. Would recommend this company and product to anyone.-Jesse

We bought a 5 x 10 plasma table about a year ago and had absolutely zero experience with one on the past. RAINDECK, We build and design splash pads and wanted the table to help with manufacturing as we continue to grow. The Squickmons table is awesome, the customer service is even better, like I said we are rookies with this thing but learning more and more everyday. The owner himself came out and did set up and orientation with us, then came out for an additional day and ran us through training to really get the most out of it properly. Once we got the hypertherm system down the table has been super nice and comfortable to use. Exciting for sure, I highly recommend this product and the professional advice and guidance was incredible, thank you.

First of all let me start out by saying Squickmons is a superb establishment. I currently have the pleasure of working with their Maverick series 5x10 plasma table. This machine is top notch! You can easily tell they put rigorous effort into engineering their products. The software is easy and intuitive, but thorough. Partnered with their solicitous customer support, it is a no-brainer for anyone that is in the market for a new plasma table. You can NOT go wrong by purchasing a table or any products for that matter through them. Give the team at Squickmons a shot, you wont be disappointed!

Im proud to say I own the 2nd plasma table that Simon designed and manufactured. He has always been very helpful and professional in his dealings with us here at Lone Wolf Welding. Simon has a great eye for detail and amazing customer service. He has always gotten back to us in a timely fashion whenever we have had a technical question be it programming or mechanical. We consider him a great asset, and a large part of why we are successful in the cutting and fabrication business. Ken Vance

I was one of the early purchasers of Squickmons tables. After calling on the phone, and visiting the shop, I was impressed by his knowledge, professionalism, and the drive to get quality CNC tables into the hands of fabricators. I went ahead and purchased a 5x5 table. The install went well and I had a working table do build and cut whatever I wanted. The table worked great, I did have to deal with the learning curve of Mach, and sheetcam but that was simply a matter of using it.After a while of using the table, I was told about LinuxCNC and the idea intrigued me as I had been a linux engineer for many years, I wasnt a windows fan and decided to make the switch. I got ahold of CandCNC where the LinuxCNC control software was sold and I had to purchase their control box to go along with it.To save the use of a lot of colorful metaphors, switching to the linuxCNC system was a colossal mistake. It worked correctly for perhaps little more than a month. Continual torch crashes, almost zero ability to restart a crashed cut, a LOT of money wasted on material due to the cut not completing. Many jobs were lost or cancelled because the table was basically a giant paperweight.Squickmons was great in trying to help troubleshoot the issue, he even took it upon himself to contact CandCNC about the problem. Sadly, they were less than helpful, and in my opinion they didnt want to help or admit they had any responsibility for the issue. Getting any help on their forum was also a waste of time.On a friendly visit to Squickmons shop, he had mentioned a new all-in-one CAD/CAM/CNC system he was trying out. At the time I dismissed it, when I should have been more serious about it.In order to get my business back on track, I pulled the money together, and with the trade-in Squickmons was offering. I upgraded to a larger 5x10 table with the Arc PRO Automation software. It has been amazing to say the least. I have cut more in the first two months of 2020 with the new table, than I was able to in all of 2019.The Arc PRO Automation software is very easy to use, even if you dont have 25yrs experience on the keyboard like I do. You can spin up a quick sketch with the CAD portion if you need to fabricate a tool or just need a simple shape. Importing of CAD drawings from another program such as draftsight is easy. Importing a drawing file is not an issue either. You simply send it over to the CAM portion of the software, start points are typically right where you would want them or easily moved if required; and there is no need to use another program like sheetcam. After setting the locations of your leadins/leadouts, material thickness, and cut type fine, shielded etc, its off to the CNC portion. Zero your axes as normal, and you are off to the races. All in all I am impressed with the Arc PRO Automation software, you do not need 3 separate programs to get a task done, which is a time saver.I would recommend Squickmons to anyone looking for a CNC plasma table. Simon is a great guy, the service is impeccable, and the tables using the Arc PRO Automation fit the needs precisely.Daniyel HumphreysRed Iron Metalworks

I live in Massachusetts and own a custom automotive shop that specializes in classic car restoration. We slowly grew into the off-road industry and were looking for a machine that could keep up with production from 3-5 days per week. Squickmons was one of the only companies that we had found that would fly out to you train you on the system and when we purchased we got Simon the owner of the company to fly out. He was extremely knowledgeable about the systems that he manufactures and he actually knows the engineering behind the plasma cutting process as well as the systems he designs. I would highly recommend calling them even if you are. Looking for something in the future, they will get you up to speed and answer all of your questions.
