Very happy with the purchase. Ordered a Ford 302 with the Fast Track break-in process. Engine looks beautiful and and perfect fit for the 1951 Ford F1. Randy is very helpful and he included some nice extras such as extra engine paint which comes in very handy as I scratched the oil pan a little getting it set in the frame. Looking forward to getting it all together and firing it up soon. Thank you Randy and everyone at Phoenix Engines.
I purchased a 390 FE about 6 years ago. Since I have 2 other cars I dont put many miles on any one of them in a year. They are only used for shows or gatherings. I was told to make sure I cranked it for 20 or 30 seconds with the ignition off to prime the engine. I was told after about 4000 miles the engine would be well broken in and run much better. After sitting for several hours and starting the engine it would run like it had a very radical cam. Soon it began to smoke blue smoke when it started. Ive channged the valve seals twice. No help. The engine has at least 4000 miles on it. If you pull the plugs and look on the whole you can see about a table spoon of oil sitting in the cylinder. The engine also has several oil leaks. Leaks at the timing chain cover, oil pan and the rear main weeps a good amount. Ive decided to replace the engine with a 351 but will purchase it from someone else. The few times I tried contacting them over the years was disappointing to say the least. I waited over a year for this engine from the time I ordered it. They were always waiting for parts. Ill be shopping somewhere else for my new engine. They seem to have a nice selection of engines. Maybe youll be lucky and have a good experience.
Poor service, and poor engine performance. I ordered a built-up Ford 460 for my business which requires that it be reliable. If it doesnt run I dont make my commitments. Randy was initially very helpful in providing a spec and budget. He is nothing if not generous once he gets on the phone, but hes hard to reach. They claim to be short-handed on every conversation, and are often unable to give answers to basic questions. My build was 3 months late, and the refund on my core took almost 5 months to get back, after multiple calls and reminders. The engine has had two major problems - a leaking front gasket behind the timing cover, and the distributor sheared a roll-pin. Beyond this I have had countless calls with them to try to get mis-matched parts to fit or to get the right oil pan or other external parts right. I dont know if these guys are selecting cheap aftermarket add-on parts, but getting help after the fact has been awful. The distributor failure has left me stranded on the side of the road, losing out on several days worth of business. They ordered parts ostensibly to be delivered next-day but its been 6 days since I called them originally. I am still waiting on parts. I really want to believe in a business like this but they really have made it seem like a poor decision to go with them for a rebuild.
Randy and his staff are nice, knowledgeable, and are ready to help every customer. I highly recommend them. Theres a reason they have been around for so long
Randy and his crew build me a 383 stroker with 409 hp . Everything went smooth with the build from start to finish.Any questions I had regarding the engine we’re always answered in detailedEven now six months later I am going with a fuel injection system which by the way I should’ve put on in the beginning like Randy suggested he has help me pick out a system and is going to set it up at the shop and then I will Install on the engine as I live in pine as . Next time I am putting together a vehicle I will definitely have phoenix engine build the power plant five stars for me
Bought fast track 350 chev for our 1955 chevy 3800 panel . Its a restored daily driver. The service was very good, Randy took a lot of interest in our efforts and made good suggestions towards our needs. The engine is very powerful, looks great, and sounds awesome.
It’s hard to actually figure out where to begin this review so I’ll start with a little back story. The first vehicle I purchased on my own at the age of 14 was a 1978 F150 2wd with a four speed transmission. Since the day I sold that truck, I’ve been looking for a replacement. Well, I found one. Not 100% the same but close. I bought it for $1,500, quite a deal. The engine was running well but was very tired. No telling how many miles were on it. I wanted to do a ground up restoration on this by doing as much as possible with my own two hands. But, the engine needed professional help. That’s where Phoenix Engine came in. I did some homework and found that Randy had been in business building engines since the early 70’s. Longevity is proof enough for me of quality. And boy did I get just that. I took them my 351M/400 and had them do a complete rebuild. We targeted 400 HP with the modifications planned. It was determined that this particular engine was harder than most to acquire parts. They just don’t make them anymore. But that didn’t stop Randy. He researched, read up, called folks, whatever he could to make this engine come to life.Today, I had the pleasure of going into Phoenix Engine to see, hear and FEEL my newly rebuilt engine roar. What a feeling!!! The sound and sight brought a 14 year olds smile to my face, I’m sure Randy and his boys see that a lot and get some satisfaction from seeing a happy customer.Five stars isn’t near enough. If you’re looking for someone to treat you right and treat your engine right, search no further than PHOENIX ENGINE. They won’t steer you wrong. Randy listens intently to what you want, offers constructive advice and helps you live your dreams.Thank you, Randy and the entire Phoenix Engine team. Couldn’t be happier that I chose you to walk this journey with me. You delivered beyond expectations.Keith Tice - One HAPPY CUSTOMER (not a paid review but rather a paying and very satisfied customer)
Not for international buyers - called from Germany , because want to know something before I will buy an engine. The only information I got: We dont sent international ..... so what - there are enough other sellers and Pride goes before a fall
Excellent customer service and provides expert knowledge, without being a know it all. Would highly, highly, recommend 👌 his service on Any make Engine. He builds new engines
The owner has great knowledge and one on one customer service that you do not see nowadays. Genuine truly Genuine
Just checking for prices very happy with the service
I purchased a car with a Pheonix Engines crate motor and have been very happy with it. My car now has about 2000 fun and trouble free miles on it. I recently had a few questions about my engine and the owner Randy got on the phone and we talked for 15 or 20 minutes. Good product and good service.
I am in the process of restoring a 69 chevelle and was in need of a motor, after some lengthy reearch I found Randy here at Phoenix Engine. We talked a little one over the phone and discussed what I wanted. Randy was VERY instramental in helping me decide the route to go. I know I wanted a 383 stroker for my project and in doing so I wanted to the majority of the wok, but quickly realized that I was not tooled up enough to the job, not to mention I was lacking the knowledge. Discissing this with Randy I decided to let him and his team build the motor for me. Not only for the rpreviously mentioned reasons but with them doing it I get a warranty. I chose specific components that I wanted, plus I chose the fast track option where they dial in the motor for you and break it in. I just heard the motor run for the first time on Saturday and I couldnt be happier.. Even though I am not done with my chevelle yet I am looking forward to the next project because Randy and the team at Phoenix Engine will be building me another motor in the very near future.I highly recommend them you will not be dissapointed.
Good place to get new engines
This place is the best. I looked through their inventory. Picked my motor and my accessories with it and there you go. They build it for you right there. Waiting a couple weeks engine came in crate ready to go. Beautiful sound sweet look. Can’t be beat. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for a good deal, with a great bunch of people. Customer service was there when I had any questions and assisted me with details on completion. Next motor I buy will definitely be through them. Phoenix engines. You did a terrific job on my motor and I get nothing but compliments on the build. Thank you guys and girls for you help restoring my car. Your the best!!!!! Keep up the good work.
We bought a GM 350 from these folks for our 1970 Blazer. When we received the engine it didn’t run well, after a lot of diagnostic effort we realized they’d put an edlebrock 750cfm carb on it... definitely too much carb for a 350. While PE did credit the cost of the replacement 650cfm carb, we were out over $1000 in garage labor costs. At around 700 miles we noticed oil leaks. We spent about $1500 trying to fix that only to discover that the constant leaking was due to the crankshaft. Now out of warranty, we’re having to pull the engine a basically scrap it. The crank shaft is bent and wobbling. This has been a nightmare that has cost us over $10k including the cost of the engine and instal, fix, and removal labor costs. Be warned. **Updated to respond to PE: PE can verify us as customers if they have the insight to check our last name.
Dear Randy and Larry,I want to thank you for the awesome job you did for me, I just finished my 1968 mustang and the engine runs great, did not have to do anything, just put it in and start. I could not help it doing a few burnouts on the street until my neighbor told me its enough. The engine produce all the power that you told me it will produce and then some, it is flawless, Randy I wish there where more people like you with your integrity and trustworthiness. You guys are awesome.
The best shop hands down!We came to Randy for help on a build gone wrong and he saved the day!We were losing money hand over fist due to another machine shop not doing the work paid for or done wrong. We then found Randy and he explained everything done wrong and made those repairs and with great care and helped us make decisions to keep the build going!I know I have found a machine shop for any future need!Thank you Randy and Phoenix engine!
Thanks Randy and everyone at the shop! We had been anticipating placing the FE back into the F100 and you made our engine run awesome! Complete rebuild intake to pan. The Fast Track was the best option, she fired right up immediately. My son and I have made a lifetime of memories during this truck build over the past 16 months and we have you to thank for it too.... For anyone considering a engine, you should do yourself a favor and contact Randy. He has taken care of us from day 1, his instructions and advice are the best. Dont let the bad reviews that pop up here influence you. Im local in PHX and would recommend anyone that is looking for a quality engine to contact Phoenix Engine... Im glad I made that call to you Randy, its been a great experience, thanks again! :)
My name is Kenny and I am so happy with my first engine I bought another one. Got myself a 410hp Chevy 355 and now on the way is a 380hp Ford 351 going in a 81 fox body. The Chevy motor is in a 64 Chevy c10 step side and it rails. Cam is amazing and power is all there. Cant wait to get the new Ford motor its going to be known all around my town. Guys care and their work is good. Price is great for the time and care put into these great motors and I always get the looks from the GIRLS! HEY LADIES.Thanks againKenny
After spending our time researching where to have the numbers matching Super Coupe engine refreshed, all it took was a tour by Randy and it was clear. My dad and I are working on this car as father/son project and we are happy to be working with Phoenix Engine. They understand how to take this production engine and give it the enhancements that will make finishing this project have the memorable outcome we were looking for in this project. I am learning a lot from this experience. Thanks to Randy, Larry and the Phoenix engine team!Aaron
Thank you so much, Phoenix Engine! I have a 1968 Ford Mustang Mach 1. The engine I had in there was the original and had all sorts of problems. I got a complete overhaul about a year ago, and it runs great. I havent had a single problem since! All the mounts are perfect and firm. The Wires, and Lines Are organized. and most importantly its great quality. Very impressed.-A Very Pleased customer
Took in a 400 out of a 77 F150. With Fast Track we were able to see the motor run for the first time! Would recommend for anyone looking for a motor rebuild. Waiting to get the rest of the truck back so it can be put to the REAL test.
I got an engine from Phoenix engine for my 1969 Mustang 302 with gt40 heads. engine is not in yet but if your thinking about do the fast track just do it well worth the money. they take all the guess work out of starting an engine for the first time. All the guys and girls down at the shop are very helpful and knowledgeable. Will be using Phoenix Engines in the future. Thank you guys for all your hard work and time you put into this engine.
Bought a Ford 302/331hp going on 3 years coming up. Been happy with it so far! Just some pics to go along with review.**Update** the engine bay is now complete with a new distributor/coil set up and Monte Carlo bar installed. Plenty compliments on my engine and bay at local car shows!
I purchased a SBC 350 turnkey crate Engine from Phoenix Engine and had them do their fast track break in procedure as well, highly recommend this. The motor arrived the next day after they notified me of its completion. It arrived exactly as expected, it started right up first time and sounds great. Just past 500 miles and it keeps running better and better. It was great to have Randy discuss at length my application and the type of performance I wanted and put together a great package at a really great price. Very happy with my engine!
I highly recommend the Fast Track Setup! This shop exceeded my expectations. Randy is a world of knowledge. My 300Hp Chevy small block is about 365 HP now!Thank you !!
I am so pleased with the 302 engine that Randy and his team built for my 1977 Ford Bronco in Tucson. Strongly recommend the turn key package its the best money you can spend.
I just picked up my engine from Phoenix Engines and I have to say that I am completely satisfied with everything that they did for me. I think the price was fair and the warranty is exceptional. And I honestly believe that if you follow their instructions after getting your motor running, you should not have any problems with it For many years to come!
Bought a 69 Nova last October from the original owner of 350/335HP chevy SB. He drove the car for 2 years prior to me buying it. He stated he had no issues with the motor at all. I called Phoenix Engine today to ask some questions about it and they took the time to answer all of them. Good to see that they care even though I wasnt the who bought the engine from them!Since Ive owned it Im very satisfied with it. Its strong and smooth, if it is still running like this next year Ill up my rating to 5 stars.Tried to post pic of engine but I failed, lol
I highly recommend having your custom engine building be done by Phoenix Engine. Randy was patient, and always communicated throughout the build what was going on. By doing the Fast Track on my engine I am sure that the break-in is perfect. Thanks Randy!!!
I called to thanked them for my 302- 330 HP that went in my Custom 66 Ranchero that just turn 60,000 Miles i bought it from Phoenix engine 10 years ago appreciate your guys good workmanship, me and my brother are very happy. Ive been referring engines to you guys for over 10 years. The car is Ford rally red, with a blue engine, yellow wires like the Ford 04 that is display on the Phoenix engine website. My engine runs great and sounds good, I got 6 different awards and many trophies in multiple car shows. Good guys etc. Appreciate your guys hard work, well keep on recommending.
I just wanted to thank Randy and his team for the outstanding work performed on my 1968 corvette. The new 350/350hp engine you built and installed runs well and sounds strong. Also you solved other mechanical problems that were unrelated to the engine and was completed with excellence. My motor was broke in on fast track, and I would definitely recommend this process to everyone.Without hesitation, I would highly recommend your services. Randy is an honest and professional businessman and displays a high level of integrity.Very Satisfied Customer,Shannon Newcomb
Phoenix Engine and their staff are top notch! I have been rodding for many years and twisting wrenches as well. I can tell anyone who is looking for a builder who operates with honesty and integrity LOOK NO FURTHER! Randy and the staff at Phoenix Engine have gone way out of their way to make sure I was taken care off- right down to the last detail. Randy helped me pick out the engine build that would best suit my needs without ripping me off!!! They make the extra effort to make sure everything was just right with my engine build. In a day and age where quality and relationship has been replaced by the almighty dollar- I find it truly refreshing to find a business that takes excellent care of their customers! GOOD JOB PHOENIX ENGINE!
I recently had a set of mid 60s, cast iron SBC heads rebuilt by Phoenix Engine. From the moment I walked in the door, I knew that Randy was the right guy for the job. He spent a considerable amount of time going over what I would need, and where my money would be best spent, based on my application. I will be using these guys for all of my future engine work. They provide fantastic service, are among the most knowledgeable in the business, and very well worth what I paid.
I bought an engine from these guys for my GT40 kit car and I bought a 302 Ford with 352 HP. It has been a year and a half it still runs great. I am very happy with the engine and service. I get plenty of compliments when I take it to car shows. I recommend them.
Great engine. Built quickly, couldnt be happier
Had Randy and the team build a BBC 454 with a tunnel ram for me. The engine is a beast, a lot of work went in to getting this engine right. Glad I went with professional guys who knew how to build this engine. Very good guys who will build an engine you will be proud of. I recommend the fast track engine tuning. Randys son and company dialed my dual carbs in beautifully
Randy and lunch go hand and hand, Randy returing any calls... good luck. I’ve had problems with my ford 351m randy and his crew rebuilt for me, it all started with the build taking longer than expected and me making calls trying to figure out is going on (because lunch is more important than the customer). Finally received my motor back and it ran terrible. After getting permission to tear into the intake manifold my mechanic found cheap gaskets and a mangled up push rod! I chose Phoenix engine for many different reasons including the understanding that quality parts and labor were used... long story short never use Phoenix engine for any business and read other reviews they seem to have a long track record of not producing quality work.
Watch out for this guy. Heres what happened to my friend.I ordered a motor from this company phoenix engine. I was told 4 months for the motor build. 9 months later and dozens of calls I had to get a refund. The company/owner randy is a scam artist! He ended up taking $1265 and return I got nothing except wasted time. Im asking my mustang family to give him a bad rating on Google please. Shops like this shouldnt exist. My hard earned money gone.
Custom built 383 Chevy engine.1957 Chevy Belair 454HPHighly recommend the fast track!
Phoenix motor was very professional and they let us take a tour when we went to pick up our motor we were very happy with the professionalism
Phoenix Engine has been nothing but amazing.. I have had questions, concerns and everything else that comes with spending a ton of money on toys, and they havent even blinked.. Always helpful and willing to speak with you.. Even after installing my engine, the have called, emailed and checked up on the engine and my satisfaction.. They will be getting my business again... Randy and the ladies really know how to help out!!! Thanks Phoenix Engine!!!!!--
Randy is the best and knowledgeable about there product and will answer and question you have and has be the best experience with engine builders Ive had and Ive been working on chevy 4x4 trucks for 27 years Thanks Phoenix Engines yall are the best
I bought a 350 from them the first one threw a rod into the block and so did the second one they built tore it down to find old used parts and talked to a couple of the workers there saying they use old parts alot stay far away from this place.
These guys know their stuff!! Great engine builds that will definitely liven up your tired ride...
From the beginning of the process and speaking with Randy, it has been a great experience and is a great product. The only bad was the engine took longer than expected to be built and delivered, but overall I would use Phoenix Engines in my next project. Two thumbs up!!!!!
Her names is Sandy Kovach Malta, MT.... 11.85 @110 mph. This was at Spokane county raceway. 3000 lbs car with foot brake. 383 stoker built by Phoenix engines. Went 7.48 in the 1/8th...I LOVE IT! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Just went and watched my engine being fired up for the first time at Phoenix Engine on the fast track machine. What a cool experience to see it and hear it running. We got to confirm all the readings on the gauges, they were able to properly jet the carb and get all the readings right where they need to be. The engine will be installed this weekend in my 66 mustang, so ill give it about six months and give a review on that. But what a cool experience with the fast track, Randy is very informative about what their doing and why the readings need to be where they are.
Complete trash. My father Bryan G bought a brand new engine for his truck and we have had nothing but problems. The whole engine has basically fallen apart and does not work. i do not recommend.
Only inquired about having some engine machining done but first impressions were good.
We had a 383 stroker built for our 69 Chevy C10. I was very impressed with the service we received during the design phase and also at start up. Randy is very knowledgable and you can tell he loves what he does.He was very through in going over the waranty and the break in period once we have the engine installed in our truck. I would not hesitate to use them again.
Engine wasn’t running well since we got it, we checked compression for the first time and one cylinder had zero. Took the head off and there was a bent valve. This 383 engine has less than 300 miles and we paid extra for their special “break in procedure” so we could get a warranty. The roller rockers also weren’t adjusted correctly either. I’ll revise this review if they handle the problem well, but it’s been 2 weeks and still did not hear back from them.
I had a 350 chevrolet engine built by Phoenix engine back in October of 2015 and it never ran right, severely under powered. I recently had it checked out by a GM Master Technician who diagnosed it and found that the claimed 334 hp engine had abnormally low compression on all cylinders, upon disassembly he found that it was built using all stock internal components of a 175 hp ls9. If your looking for a performance engine look elsewhere or be prepared for bait and switch..Todd Lamberton.Flat top Pistons? Hmmmm....These pics of the pistons installed in my engine definitely are not flat top pistons and the fact that the engine is a brand new 4.00 bore Mexico made block tells me that it definitely is a new GM crate engine.
I was quoted 10-12 weeks. Its now almost 22 weeks and still getting the run around.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!
Full Disclosure; I bought my Ford 302 and had to delay my install !My experience began with the owner Randy going over the needs of my project Type of Engine, Transmission, Vehicle it will be installed in, use etc. What I received was an engine with the Wrong Flex Plate, Wrong Oil Pan, Wrong Pulley Set And lastly what was nearly Bait & Switch Randy sends the engine without the Carburetor to offset my shipping costs. After reviving my project and learning the mistakes that were made on my engine build I made numerous calls to Phoenix Engine asking then to send the parts required to correct their mistakes. Ive been passed back and forth between Randy and Larry. The end result Phoenix Engine has not corrected one of their mistakes and after close to $750 in replacement parts my engine is nearly installed but yet to run. Speaking of Run RUN FROM PHOENIX ENGINE REBUILDERS they lack integrity customer service and in my opinion your taking a huge risk doing business with them.
I am not even able to give this company any more than ONE star as our experience with them has been painful, to say the least. To start, the customer service is horrible. RARELY have we been able to call with questions and NOT have to get a call back, sometimes a week plus later. The ordering process was easy, of course, but then when it came to shipping, the BS excuses incrementally pushed the delivery date back 6 weeks. Once we got the engine and put it in (67 camaro), used all the mandatory recommended fluids, drove it twice (less than 20 miles total), it has since stopped running and now we are unable to speak to anyone regarding our issues...even after multiple phone calls. This company should be ashamed of the way they handle their paying customers.
This shop has a severe lack of customer service and clearly there hasnt been any changes after reading the previous reviews. Along with the several other negative reviews of this business, Phoenix Engine promised my boyfriend, Edgar, a 383 stroker, with 426 horsepower, for a 68 Camaro to be completed in 12 weeks. A down payment of $2800 was made for the $7000 contract. They took both Edgars and my number down for contact. Needless to say, 12 weeks passed and Edgar reached out to find out about his engine and they said it was going to be another 4 weeks. After the 4 weeks Edgar reached out and Randy said he had been trying to contact Edgar using my phone number but neither of us received any calls, blatant lie. Because this was Edgars dream car he was hoping that it was because quality took time. That was not the case at all. After 6 months he finally was able to get a walk through but the engine wasnt any where near being completed as it was only the block and the heads. The block also had a sticky note that it was only 406 horsepower. At this time Randy went through the contract that both Edgar and Phoenix Engine had agreed upon when Edgar paid his down payment but Randy tried to increase the total price by $1,000 which was unacceptable. As a business if you cannot keep to your contract it is the business that takes the loss not the customer. At this time Randy tried to say he would try and reduce the price back down to what was originally agreed upon however he never got back to Edgar. It took 2 weeks for Edgar to even hear back from Randy and the only reason he called is because Edgar called the shop and told them forget it and he wants his money back. Phoenix Engine had excuse after excuse of why the Engine wasnt completed. It was because they were really busy taking on new orders. Parts werent being delivered on time and supposably over 100 engines to build. An employee was sick. So many excuses. When Edgar went to pick up his money Randy said he likes to make things right with people he said that he was taught that if he was wrong he was going to take responsibility. Also Edgar brought brand new valve covers for them to put on the engines that were returned with damages. Randy tried to give back an extra $100 to compensate for the time lost but it was probably for the damaged parts they returned and we did not accept the extra $100. We took our money that we paid and will never go to Phoenix Engine again and neither should anyone else. Phoenix Engine wouldnt know what responsibility is if it hit them in the face. A proper business would not overload themselves so much that they cannot handle the work they have already promised others. They have no consideration for time and its not because quality takes time. They want peoples money. They ruined my boyfriends idea for his dream car. Never use this company because clearly nothing has changed over time.
Its just incredible to think, just a few short months ago we went into phoenix Engine and purchased our new engine for our 1952 Chevy. What a great time it was watching Randy and the crew build it from scratch, We were able to watch it from the beginning block to the finished project and watch the test on the Dyno. What a thrill to see her come alive and roar. Whats also awesome was we were allowed to see it every step of the way. What other business does that these days. Phoenix engine has a friendly counter staff that makes me feel at home every time I came in and the back shop was always attention to detail on the engines they were assembling. Thank you Phoenix Engine.Update!!! Im so happy with the service that I have received this far. Phoenix Engine does amazing work and truly works with their customers. The owner Randy is great at what he does and he truly knows the business. Im a local in Arizona and typically visit the shop 1-2 times a week and every time I go in Im treated with respect and honor as any customer should be. I recently ordered a Chevy 350 355HP engine to put into my 1952 Chevy Truck that I have been working on restoring with my father and we couldnt be happier with the product. Being a local in the state of Arizona I have also had the joy and honor of touring the shop and seeing their building process and I was truly amazed with how clean and how well the shop is run. If you are looking for an engine for one of your projects Phoenix Engine is the place to go you will love the product that you will get in return plus you will love the shop and all of the workers in the shop they all do amazing work.Best Service ever. Phoenix Engines have amazing products and customer service. My father and I have recently ordered a Chevy 350 with 355HP for our 1952 chevy truck and I couldnt have been happier. Randy the owner is an amazing guy he has kept us informed with everything going on with our engine. Randy has also taken us through the shop and has showed and has explained every part of how they build the engine. You cant beat the price for the quality of engine and all of the work that they put into your engine.
After two bad engine replacements for my 1979 Z28 Camaro, we settled on Phoenix Engine for the final engine replacement. Purchased a 383 Stroker, over 450 HP, 500 ft.lbs TQ, for far less money than a GM Performance Parts engine would have cost for the same performance numbers. After 6 weeks of labor, due to two consecutive casting defects in the intake manifolds needed for the engine, (received pictures of the sloppy intake manifolds from Randy and Larry,) I received my turn-key engine.Had the engine installed, now that Z28 will burn the tires off at any point in time. Very proud high performance engine owner, happy with the life of the engine, the warrantee, everything.Congrats, Phoenix Engine!
I have been working with Phoenix Engine for some time now they where completing an Engine for me, I had the FORD 302-352HP done for my FORD Mustang not only did I have the color painted to match the car, I call it Cosby Blue but its Ford Blue its hot it was worth the wait.....And the sound ( is INCREDIABLE) you definetly want to feel the sound the motor makes and they can show you in their Engine Room. I would recomend this company for any custom built Engine or Rebuild. It took me some time to do some research on them from their Facebook to Merchant Circle and I am glad I did. It was SO worth it.
Bought an engine from this clown and installed, filled it up with coolant and it leaked out the freeze plugs. He tells me he will have it towed to his shop to fix it and then refuses to pay tow bill until I make a huge scene at his place if business. New block he swapped in never made it past 5k miles before it seized. Ask around locally and get references before you purchase from this shop or find out the hard way like I did.
Got engine in started right up no problems
Was told my motor would be done in 4 months. 9 months later no motor! I had to get a refund because I couldnt wait any longer. The company ended up stealing $1265.09 off me and wasted my time.
If you dont mind paying for his labor to find parts for your engine that he has lost in his shop, go for it. Me, I wouldnt go back if it was free.
Junk right out of the crate.lesson learned i got totally screwed
Called to see if you could help with replacing cam bearing in my pulled block and the receptionist was vary rude.
Please learn from my experience with Randy, no integrity, no remorse this guy is going to take your money and sell you garbage!
Reuses old parts on engines
