While I was out of town, our house had a leak. My fiance was stuck with the clean up. I suggested going to home Depot to rent a dehumidifier and carpet drying fan thinking the tool rental department would assist her in figuring out what items to get and helping her load them up. Neither of those things happened. She told me she was treated rudely and like a contractor despite it being very clear that she was not sure what she was doing. No help/advice was given on what to rent and no help given on loading up the heavy machines into the car.Being out of town and unable to help, I was frustrated that I sent her to HD, thinking they would be helpful.Id go one star, but the machines did work well.

Had a great experience with Colin at tool rental. Colin was professional, personable and easy to work with.

Terrible, horid, very bad, took for ever close to 1 hour to check in a Echo weed eater for repair. Ended up taking machine back to my truck. Problems with their computers, the dude had to call some one on his phone did not know how to do his job. There were 2 or 3 other employees there, did not offer to help. Had to wait for head cash to take my money, never came, after 10 minutes left with my machine. Another customer stated he was there 2 hours waiting to rent a truck. Not good, there is always Lows

Some times I wish they would just bite the bullet and hire more people. Any time I need help I feel like Im waiting and wandering around aimlessly. The people in the tool rental/repair department are very unfriendly also.

Talk about disgustingly bad. I own a small business and needed to rent a carpet extractor the associate talked me into a shampooer instead.....a broken piece of equipment....so i had to pack it up and return it for the right one.....then THAT piece of equipment had a short in the electrical plug and wouldnt stay on. When i called back to let them know i spoke to Billy and Kyle and got nothing but to bad so sad I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes then they hung up when i called back Billy was suddenly to busy to finish our conversation. Kyle refused to give me the mangers name and told me to call a toll free number and cry to them about my problems. I lost time, money , missed deadlines and was talked down to like being a female made me to dumb to know how to plug an appliance in. The manager was supposed to call and didnt bother to do that either. They dont care about customer service or doing the right thing they pass the buck and wont own their mistakes or acknowledge the inconvenience and trouble their lack of care has caused others. I will be taking my business both personal and professional elsewhere and will suggest to anyone who asks that they do the same. Horrible job Home Depot horrible job.
