The best thing I could say about my experience overall is that annual increases with Farmers Insurance have been reasonable, unlike many other insurance companies Ive dealt with.  I had pretty much concluded that it was typical of auto insurance companies to entice new customers with come-on teaser rates that are rapidly increased in subsequent renewals.  Ive typically had to seek other quotes and change companies about every three years to keep my rates reasonable. Im happy to say thats not been the case with Farmers Insurance.

You will never hear from Mark or meet him. You are just an income stream as far as I can tell. Poor service, high turnover, and if you enjoy getting ducked when you have a problem this is the place for you.

An insurance agency is only as good as its service. Julie, one of the in office agents, has been a helpful beyond measure. Besides being knowledgeable, she follows through on every request in a timely fashion. I know that when I need something or some information, Julie will respond with a call or an e-mail and will answer my every concern. She will also go to bat for me when an underwriter demands from our company more than what is called for, saving me a lot of time filling out documents and reports that do not pertain to my insurance needs.Great Job, indeed.William sette

I briefly saw Mark a while back during a charity drive for Phoenix Childrens. Ive seen him at over a dozen community assistance events since then and only recently found out he works with insurance. He was never pushy towards me and I never felt like he was trying to sell me anything. When I switched to him for my policies, I never once felt like I was talking to an insurance agent. He treated me with a genuine level of care that made it feel like I was talking to a good friend. Would recommend.

I was with State Farm happily for years until they started raising my rate out of nowhere and without notice. Mark and his staff were extremely attentive to my needs in making sure my policy coverages were correct. The huge monetary savings were an added bonus. Would definitely recommend working with this office. Hes taking care of me the right way and Im sure he will do the same for you.

Terrible company to work for. They do not pay their employees the correct commission! They would not pay me for hitting the bonus. I would hit the weekly and monthly bonus consistently so they had to switch the bonus structure just make it harder for me to reach it, why you may ask.... Mark Schlegels own words Were paying you to much. Co-workers are awesome people I just wouldnt work for Mark. Sad to see a quality, hard worker not getting paid for the commission I earned. He was worried about me getting paid to much for a bonus that was only $50. Yet Mark the owner drives a 2019 Porsche that only cost $150k. Ignorance is bliss

Let me start off by stating the customer service is great. They are professional and courteous. The problem is behind the scenes the are constantly trying to take your money. Every single renewal comes in higher and higher. I referred my grandmother there for her home insurance. It started at $450 a year. The next time I checked a few years later I found out they had been charging a 70 year old lady over $900/ year for the same house and same coverage. Complete crooks. Beware

My recent move to another state required changes to my home and auto policies. Farmers Insurance-Mark Schlegel handled it very well. I dropped the ball by not following through with changes after the move but they picked it up and all is taken care of.

They handle everything professionally and without hesitation. Premiums are fair as well compared to other quotes I have received. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

I have been with Farmers Insurance since I was a teenager on my parents policy. I have been transferred to a few different agents over the years and have had some good and some bad experiences. When I was transferred to Mark Schlegel things were a little bumpy at first, my payments got messed up and I didnt get my proof of insurance in the mail. After a while though my payments got corrected and the office staff emailed me and mailed me my insurance docs. Overall Ive had a good experience with this agent.
