Great service and knowledgeable. I personally would not use the Tablo device. Slow to load and not very user friendly. Look at TiVo. Our friend has that and it works great.

I was able to get an appointment right away. He showed up on time and worked with me, using the antenna I had already purchased. The installation gives me pixel free reception on all the local channels. And I didn’t have to climb a ladder. Great job!

TJ installed an antenna in my attic in the spring of 2020. It was no DIY job, but he knows what hes doing and Im very pleased with the results. TJ was great!, He was very informative about our options for “cord cutting”. The recommendations he made have worked out perfectly. The Tablo DVR he suggested connects to all my TVs wirelessly. No need to worry about placing the tv near a cable outlet. We are very happy with our decision to use FreeHDTVAV and TJ for our our cord cutting. I believe we will save thousands of dollars a year. So long COX Cable.

One week ago TJ installed an antenna for us. He was prompt and had lots of good information for us. We had cancelled cox cable several months ago but my husband was frustrated that even with Hulu, he was missing local sports on tv. I am happy that we can now cancel Hulu, he will have his sports, and we will save a bundle monthly on cable/hulu fees. We ordered a Tablo dvd and just hooked it up yesterday. So there are costs upfront - antenna and dvd but we wont have so many monthly fees.

This is the second home that TJ has installed an antenna for us. He is very professional, responds promptly to messages. Very knowledge and very thorough. Was able to obtain really strong signal at both our houses. In Casa Grande that is not always easy. I highly recommend him!!! Would call him again if I needed this service again!!

Unfortunately, I was unable to oversee the installation and was unhappy to find the product was less than eluded to over the phone. Specifically, I was disappointed with the unprofessional manner in which the wiring was run on the exterior of my home. In total, only 2 of the 4 tvs that were supposed to be connected were, and the wiring on the outside of the house looks trashy.

We could not be happier with T.J. and his services. We just moved into a new house and even though we are only 30 miles from the TV Towers we could only receive some of the major network channels. We wanted to have great reception but also wanted to be respectful of our community and not have a large ugly antenna on the roof and unfortunately the attic was not an option. T.J. knew just the right antenna to use and you have to really look to see any of it and we now get 84 crystal clear channels. Thank you T.J. as we know ours was not an easy job to do but you stuck with it and got it done.

After trying to contact a few other antenna installation places I stumbled upon Free HD TV AZ and Im sure glad I did. I called a few days before Thanksgiving 2020 and was promptly called back and given an install date of the day after Thanksgiving. T.J. spent a few hours here installing the antenna in an inconspicuous place and it works fantastically. Im now gettin 80+ channels on 2 TVs and a Plex media server.Thanks

Weve had TJ out on a couple of different occasions to diagnose and repair antenna / signal issues we were having - the first visit because of a poor installation from another company, and the second visit due to a failure of a third-party DVR device. TJ is prompt, professional and friendly. Even more importantly, HE KNOWS HIS BUSINESS. Both times he was out, he identified our problem quickly. And hes very reasonably priced for the experience he brings. Well never call anyone else for antenna installs or service. Highly recommend!

TJ completed my install in a couple hours, made sure my Tablo DVR was working and was generally a pleasure to be around. Id highly recommend him to anyone. I live near Shea and 124th in Scottsdale and get dozens of great channels with perfect reception. Most importantly, I get all the major networks and PBS.

I had a handful of phone calls with TJ regarding antenna TV and TV options. He took the time to discuss options for streaming devices and applications offering channels I might not get for free with the Antenna. He helped me replace my DVR with a Tablo and I no longer have a monthly charge. The antenna installation was clean and neat. The Tablo is working fine with all 3 TVs. I used Roku per TJs recommendation and it was simple to set up. Im going with Sling for channels that dont come free and due to the sports options they have. I cant believe that little Roku remote replaces that big old COX remote. Pay TJ to do the install and youll be happy. I got the antenna in case the internet goes down Ill still have access to news and other channels. TJ helped me program out channels I wont need. I highly recommend TJ. I called another popular service twice and they never called me back. TJ picks up the phone!

TJ, was awesome from beginning to end of the process. I was confident in his knowledge during the initial call for scheduling and details and the install was outstanding in terms of his courtesy, professionalism and timeliness. I live in a shadow of South Mountain so TV reception has always been an issue. TJ was on the roof for an hour looking for optimum antenna placement. The local channels all come in crystal clear now and I dont have to pay COX anything for TV service. Highly recommended!

I used them to replace an existing antenna on my house in Sun City. The installation went smooth and I got more channels over 40. They charged me exactly what they quoted plus my original antenna was not grounded so they grounded for me for free. I highly recommend Free HDTV AZ ask for TJ a real nice guy that knows his stuff.

Disappointed with installation on front of house. Friends recommended this company saying they installed antenna in attic. Installer insisted it could not be done despite many homes in this subdivision are installed in attic. It looks very bad on front of house.

TJ showed up at our house when he said he would. The price was what he quoted, he was very careful not to damage anything, we get a ton of channels and he was a really nice guy. I would recommend him to anyone.

Lacking decent service or ethics. How does one commit to an installation, leave without establishing all channels, promise a return visit to correct issues THEN say that call back work is $100/hr PLUS parts???? Honestly cannot recommend this guy to anyone.UPDATED- so he finally called back (I think prompted by this review), came back and adjusted as best he can. Still cannot get CBS, but that his not his fault and he has done his best.

I had Free HDTV AZ come out and put up an antenna. They showed up on time. Did a great job as I get over 40 channels. The installer really knew his job as my wiring was all screwed up and they did not charge anything to fix it.. I highly recommend these guys.

Top Notch Customer Service! I could not be more happy with the professionalism, service and results I received from Free HDTV AZ. They went above and beyond expectations putting this system into our home and the results are fantastic, better pictures than we ever had with our cable provider. I wish i could have given negative stars. I explained what I wanted before we agreed on a price. I gave him the go ahead and told him I worked so it would have to be weekends or later in the day after I get home. Shows up on Saturday and supposedly hooks everything up. NOT! I pay the agreed price and he goes on his way. As im playing with the new system I realize that it isnt doing what I asked him to do. I call him and he proceeded to tell me that i bought the wrong dvr, HE WAS THE ONE WHO TOLD ME TO BUY IT. I order the new product that he now tells me to buy and proceeds to try scheduling weekdays before 1pm. Then after 2 weeks of this nonsense he tells me he will come Saturday morning and it will be an additional $100. I called someone else to do it and I found out that he had only hardwired only 2 TVs instead of the 5 i paid for. Cost me $150 to fix this companys neglect.

I cut the cord and cant be any happier! Im going to save over $100 a month. TJ is very knowledgable and professional. He is competitively priced and his estimate was right on. Thanks you again!

TJ showed up on time for an attic install which ended up being difficult as we have radiant barrier installed as it is a relatively new build house. TJ worked with me to address the issues and provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend him if you want to cut the cord.

I couldnt be happier with the antenna and the service I received from TJ. He was prompt, professional and installed the antenna exactly where I wanted it. The cable from the antenna is not even visible and I am now rocking 95 channels over the air. This will come in handy this fall for college football. Phoenix is currently testing the new over the air 3.0 standard. In the near future many of the channels will be broadcast in 4K! Thank you TJ!

This guy deserves all of the 5 stars reviews found here. We are located at Hunt Hwy and Gilbert Rd. We tried a variety of indoor antennas, always with mixed results. Now we get clear pictures on 6 different TVs and additional channels that we did not know existed. TJ also helped to relocate our router and modem and advised on our VOIP phone setup. He and his daughter were very nice, personable, and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone wanting to cut the cable/satellite cord or improve their current over-the-air results.

Great service. Very happy with TJs work and knowledge. Yes I would highly recommend Free HDTV AZ. Now I have free TV in my guest casita. Managed to get 76 clear channels and a number of HD ones too. I have updated my review as I had TJ come back and install another aerial to my main house. Despite his assurance that it was grounded correctly it wasnt ! I spent a further $200 with another contractor who correctly grounded BOTH aerials. I contacted him several times for a receipt he promised but he would not reply to my voicemail , text or send me a receipt. Very disappointed.

TJ did a great job troubleshooting and installing a new HD antenna on my roof. He was neat, fast and very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend him for your TV needs. Best of all, I cut the cord from Coxs high prices. TV picture is equal or better than Cox.

I had a roof antenna installed by TJ (owner). I was pleased with TJs responsiveness, and he was always on time. I had to have him come back to move the antenna higher when I had reception strength issues with NBC, which was successful. I definitely recommend having him do an antenna install. Its worth it. Watching HD TV for free over here.

TJ came out last week and installed a new antenna on the eave of my home. He is very professional, prompt to his appointment time, and does great quality work. My new antenna works GREAT- I ended up getting about 55 channels in the north Phoenix area, which is a notoriously difficult area to get good tv reception.He checked and tested the existing wiring in 5 locations in our home, did some additional work (stapled a line to the eaves that had fallen down) at no extra charge. He completed the work in a timely manner (about 3 hours). TJ is a trustworthy individual and small business owner. Use this company with confidence!

Call this guy. We live in a difficult spot (no line of sight to Ahwatukee) but Mr. TJ McGlynn was able to install an amplified antenna and hook it to the existing satellite cabling and dish mount. 4 TVs with HDTV, just like that. Will save 80 bucks a month, bye bye Directv!

I purchased an antenna and DVR+ from TJ of Free HDTV AZ. I also had these installed, and my 75 inch TV mounted by him. The installation was done very well, with cables routed inconspicuously. Although my home backs to a mountain without clear line of site to South Mountain where the broadcast antennas are, my reception is perfect on approximately 50 channels. The DVR+ works very well and is easy to use. The mounting of my big TV was done perfectly too. TJ took the time to clean up everything and also make certain that I knew how everything worked. I am very pleased, and would recommend Free HDTV AZ to everyone.
