I had been researching countless videography options and felt many of them seemed like they followed the same recipe to just crank out wedding videos and lacked a personal touch or the story of the couple and the emotions at the heart of the video. But when I found solidity films, I found myself sobbing at every video because their work is so moving, unique, and personal. I was nervous about investing in a wedding video at first, because with all the other wedding costs, it starts to add up and I wondered if I could do without a videographer. I had some people telling me we didnt need to incur another cost and that sometimes it feels intrusive to have big cameras taking up space in key moments of the wedding. However, I kept thinking that you invest so much in parts of the wedding that only last one day - the photos and video are the relics that live on and tell the story of that day. Im so glad I listened to that gut feeling!Tom was so accommodating and was understanding of our budget and my concerns about budget, and he was willing to give us time to think and figure out how to work within our budget, never putting any pressure on us to get anything additional. Even my grandma who had been concerned about cameras feeling intrusive during the wedding day kept marveling the next day saying she didnt even remember we had a videographer there! He was so discrete and considerate, while also never missing a key moment - which is such a hard balance to strike but makes all the difference.Throughout the process, Tom put in time to get to know us as a couple - what our style was, our story was, what made us tick and what we wanted to shine through on our wedding day. That time and effort he puts to invest in getting to know you comes through so much in the final product. The entire day, my husband and I kept saying we were so glad Tom was there - not only to capture our wedding video, but just as such a supportive, calming presence. He truly put us at ease and reminded us to enjoy every little moment - Im so grateful to him for that.Tom cares so much about capturing the moments and footage that make your wedding day special - on our wedding day our schedule was completely thrown off and we were running way behind. And even though it was past the allotted amount of time our contract said Tom would stay, sure enough, he was still there - filming away. I remember telling him I was so sorry he stayed late and that we were behind schedule, but he was so gracious and said he didnt want to miss anything and would stay a bit longer.The next six months we eagerly waited for our wedding video - I found myself counting down the days. Let me tell you - the final video was well worth the wait. I couldnt believe how beautiful and touching the final product was. I think I watched it maybe a dozen times the first couple days! And all of our friends and family we shared it with kept raving about it and they were moved to tears! I cant imagine our wedding without Tom and Solidity Films being a part of it - its the most treasured memory I have from our wedding day and I feel so blessed that Tom captured our video. Hes truly an artist and to be the recipient of his art feels like a gift. I cant wait to watch our video over and over again for years to come and to show our children and family in the future so they can feel the love and emotion we felt on our wedding day.

There was something so powerful Solidity Film’s video; you can truly feel the couple’s love through the screen while watching. From the first video we saw we knew Solidty Film was something special.From the first call with Tom I knew he was the videographer for us; he is kind, open to new ideas, creative, and truly makes you feel like you and your special day is the most important thing to him at that moment. Tom wanted to know who my husband and I were, what our interests are, about our family and our relationship with them, and used this information to capture our day and what is most important to us.Fast forward the next few months, Tom would check in to see how we were doing we had a couple more meetings as well as had us fill out a questionnaire where he asked about the things we were looking forward to at our wedding, top things we wanted captured, music, etc. During our discussions, planning, and day of Tom did not let us forget that this is our day and we needed to spend time together. It is something that everyone tells you, but it was something we wanted to make sure we prioritized while making the timeline of the day and we are thankful we did.Tom has this confident and genuine demeanor that makes you feel relax. He came to our house before our rehearsal dinner to start to capture and it calmed us down and let us hang out with each other but also a friend before the madness began. But he can do this while also fading into the day and you not realizing someone is following you around videoing you.The six-month wait for the video was so exciting to us, as the wedding excitement faded and as our lives got back to normal, we still had this video to look forward to. We were so eager to see the moments Tom captured and how he would piece the footage together to help tell our story. Once we received it we knew that it was worth every day of the wait; we were in awe watching the video and played it on repeat for at six times in a row. With each time finding a new moment captured, picking up on the song, or the clips he matched to each voiceover. The thoughtfulness behind those smallest details is the best way to describe Tom. He listens and he cares while also being the most talented guy in the room. He takes the time to make the video so personal to the couple and not just edit as many as he can per year. We were so excited to share the video with our family and friends and their reactions were unbelievable as well there were tears, multiple repeats, and huge smiles bringing back so man wonderful memories.There are truly no words to describe Tom. My husband and I found a friendship in him that we didn’t feel as deeply with any other vendor. On top of just being an awesome person there is something that sets him apart from almost all other videographers I’ve seen through my searches. We are still watching our wedding video as well as the ceremony and reception video weekly and it brings us such joy. My husband and I booked Tom as our videographer after finding some of his work online. I was in awe of how beautiful his videos were. They were so intricate in the way he pieced together each frame, and every video I watched of his left me with a tear in my eye... mind you, I have no idea who these people in the films were. WOW where to even begin! When my husband and I were planning our wedding we were on a very tight budget and originally had decided we didn’t need a videographer but after reading countless brides biggest regrets and watching some pretty powerful films we decided we would need to move our budget around a bit to somehow make it work. We are so thankful that we did. Tom is not only a very talented videographer he happens to be the most genuine person and easily our favorite vendor that we worked with (and we had some pretty awesome vendors). From our very first conversation with Tom we felt so comfortable and he put our mind at ease since one of our main concerns was we didn’t want our wedding to feel like a production or a bunch of cameras on us, but he assured us that his style of filming is very discreet and that day we barely even noticed he was there at all. If you have seen any of his work you know that his films have a very raw and real feel of the day (and varying different from couple to couple) and we couldn’t be more thankful for our story. Tom takes the time to get to know you as a couple and what is important and significant to make sure he incorporate it into your films. After just watching the first 30 seconds we were already crying and it’s somehow better than I ever imagined.
