They were really informative and the ride was nice. You dont pay until you get back and there is a lot of payment options. Happy that we got to take the kids because 20 min is more than enough time for toddlers.

My family and I went to Philly for a day trip. We met Chief (the horse) and Carol and Im so glad we took advantage of this opportunity. Carol was amazing!!! She was funny, personable and very knowledgeable. Id definitely recommend a tour and I cant wait to return for another trip!!

Was in town for a wedding and stayed a couple of extra days to check out Philly for the first time. My wife and I took a Carriage ride to view the city. We had a great time. The drivers seemed very knowledgeable and told us lots of cool things, although I think a couple were embellished a little. Dont know if I would do it again, maybe if we brought the kids, but if you havent done it, I would recommend it.

The only problem we had was our receipt/ reservation had the wrong address to where we should meet the carriage. We spent an hour walking around to trying to find it. Called the company several times and finally emailed them and then they responded. Once we found them the experience was great. Our driver and guide were awesome! Spot was a great horse too!

So good!! I had the horse named rock and I absolutely loved him he was cute and I loved his personality! The driver was so informative! He was so cool! Definitely coming back for a night ride!!!

Had a great time with our tour guide Tom carried by our horse Luke. Tom delivered knowledge about the city with great energy and even answered lots of our questions.

Our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of Philadelphia. We truly enjoyed our tour and would recommend anyone to do it at least once... even if you are from Philadelphia.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Terrible company that abuses their horses and makes them ride in 90 degree heat. If you care even just a little about living beings, then don’t use this company.

Wonderful experience with Mike as our tour guide! He was extremely knowledgeable of the history of the city. Our romantic carriage ride was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Definitely a must do if you are in Philadelphia!

My wife and I are on our honeymoon and booked one of the reserve carriage rides for the evening. Our driver texted us ahead of time to remind us when and where to meet. The ride was relaxing and our driver (Tom) was super informative and a joy to talk to. You could tell he really liked his job and the city that he’s in. The horse (Luke) also did great. If you’re in town take this tour. :)

We booked the hour ride and thoroughly enjoyed it. Driver was great and Chipper did a wonderful job. He was in great shape, has specialized shoes for the city and I noticed that he was well padded with no sores or cuts. They really love their horses. Did you know they have a retirement home for them, too! Its a nice way to see the historical district.

Id give 10 stars if it were possible. 76 Carriage Company really gave a special tour that was unforgettable and I think very reasonably priced for what we experienced ($63 and some change). We did the medium tour (30-35 minute tour). Our guide Mike was wonderful and his horse Chipper was an angel. We got to feed Chipper a special treat...(youll have to find out for yourself). We knew about Mike because Jackie in the office suggested a few guides she thought would be great with my dear friend who has Alzheimers which was so sweet of her. She even described their carriages/horses and the street theyd most likely be on so wed be able to find them easily on the street. I was able to spot one of the carriages while we were driving to park and that was so helpful in making it a smooth and magical experience. I cant say enough about Mikes kindness, or Chippers, in terms of my friend and as for me, I learned something new on every single block and I have lived right here in this area for my entire life. She has very little short term memory but this made such an impression that she was remembering details about the experience hours later that shocked me. Thank you all at for the wonderful memory we got to make and for all your kindness.

Would give zero stars if possible. This company constantly violates the law by allowing horses to work in over 90 degree weather and not providing mandated rest or water. There are a million better ways to see the city than paying to have a helpless animal shamelessly worked to the bone so you can sightsee

Took the 30 minute tour with Bill and his horse Benjamin with my 2 grandchildren. What a great experience!! Bill was so knowledgeable about the city and so personable. Definitely will go again.

We as Old City residents hate this company -- they treat their horses very inhumanely. Its so sad; tourists who dont know how awful they are keep coming and supporting this business. PLEASE do your homework before booking!

A lot of carriages to choose from/going down the cobblestone streets was very entertaining...we took the short tour/but awesome...
