Would have given 5 stars, but after getting my tooth numbed, the dentist took to long to pull my tooth and had to do it again before pulling it. Overall everything else went well, they came and discussed all options with you and prices, what your insurance covered and what you will pay before performing any work on you. Will give them a second chance.

The dentists are great. Staff is most friendly, kind and knowledgeable. My dentist shut down and had to find a new dentist immediately. Someone recommended this place and I have to say they were spot on with their recommendation.

What an office! The team/staff is excellent. They’re polite, caring, and accommodating. The work I’ve received was done efficiently and meets the highest of standards. Im absolutely returning for all dental related occurrences.

Went in for a routine cleaning today and while the staff was nice the office was filthy. Full of flies, including a dead one on the exam room floor. I had xrays done and when she opened the cabinet to swing out the machine your could see how dirty it was inside. It was completely unacceptable. 2 stars for the nice staff, but I cant go back.

1st time visit for a cleaning was today. I told them I did not want x-rays ahead of time. They didnt ask if I could provide prior Dentist most recent x-rays or anything like that. Waited till I was sitting down in the chair and came at me with were gonna do a full set of x-rays because its your first time hereI said nah - Im out. Place was pretty dirty near the communal rinse sink too. Glad I bailed.Asking a new patient to provide x-rays from prior dentist is what an upstanding dentist does. Not asking for them and hoping they can take their own x-rays so they can bill your insurance is slimy and unethical.UPDATE PER OWNER RESPONSE: Dental x-rays are NOT necessary.PER THE ADA: In the past, yearly x-rays were often recommended by dentists. But today, the ADA recommends that healthy adults with no major apparent dental problems only need to get x-rays about every 2-3 years.

This place is a nest of fraudulent charges. I told them explicitly for a routine cleaning visit that I didnt want any service that was not covered by my insurance. I was forced to sign a paper that said I was responsible for any extraordinary charges. My mistake - DO NOT SIGN THIS. For my routine visit, they took x-rays that now my insurance says they do not cover, which I feel they should have confirmed, and therefore are responsible for. I got charged for deep cleaning which not only was not done, but was not needed, (and they tried to submit the charge not once, but twice to the insurance company, and the bill I received has the same charge also twice) and I even got charged $10 for the facemask. Avoid this office at all costs. Im shocked at how blatant the attempted theft is, and wonder how they think they can get away with it.Additional comment, based on their copy and paste reply - they do NOT show you the charges in advance, and allow you to review them. Their response makes it seem like they do. They never returned my phone calls. I had to walk in and personally ask for copies of my paperwork, which they quickly doctored up with yellow marker, as though the signature page had been yellow highlighted from the beginning. What they sent me by mail was a doctored copy of the page with my signature, with all other details removed - deliberately. I repeat. Avoid at all costs.

Great caring Dr and staff. Clean, utilizing COVID-19 protocol. On time. Virtually pain free root canal and got my bridge work perfect on first go round. After all the pain and fear with previous dentists, this was a great surprise.My bridge broke 6 months later and I had to go back as a warranty patient. Boy did their demeanor change. They blamed me for the bridge breaking… had me wait over an 1 1/2 the first visit and the doctor made a mold from the broken bridge… that didn’t work… but said “ it was good enough”. I wouldn’t accept it! He was rough in handling my mouth… it was now lunch time. The second time I walked out after waiting 45 minutes and lunch time was approaching. I am disabled, it took 2 1/2 hours to get there by public transportation , and I was treated like garbage …. Probably because no mo RT was being made on my job.

The office is well organized, clean and following all applicable protocols. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and provides great service. I feel well cared for here.

I went in for a routine dental care today (12/10). Upon examination, dental hygienist told me that my gums are very healthy. However, she suggested deep cleaning (D4342. periodontal scaling teeth - SRP) as my treatment following the examination ($635 to insurance and $202 to myself).I asked the receptionist if I can just get a regular cleaning (D1110 adult prophylaxis) instead of deep cleaning. However, she told me that is not possible and I can only get the recommended treatment (i.e. deep cleaning).I consulted this matter with my dentist friend and he suggested that it is definitely within my right to just get the regular cleaning. It is unethical to limit my treatment option solely based on examination (in which dental hygienist verbally stated that my gums are healthy).When I called the office, the receptionist replied that if I want a regular cleaning, I should go to a different office.They should not limit treatment options and give patients the right to choose the procedure they want done.

My daughter and went here on 8/3/2020 the dentist told.me.my teeth are in good condition.. Then the hygienist say I have gingivitis because when she touch my gum I flinched in pain so i have a mild gum infection I told them I dont have this gum disease and.i just want routine cleaning..I was denied service. I have sensitive gum and teeth,even when my old dentist cleans my teeth it hurts ,if I switch toothpaste my teeth n gum hurts.. I have severe allergies food/seasonal .. My gums are like this since I know myself.. It still hurts to know I told them about myself and was still denied service.. It hurt me so bad.. I am nurse for 16 years and know that a patient is the best historian for their health.. Tears I really want.my teeth cleaned

Great staffs and the best dentist ever. They ensured my comfort through out the visit and were extremely flexible with the treatment options. Got my infected tooth extracted and will be going for deep cleaning. I would highly recommend this place for all your dental care.

It was my first time at that dentist and they made me feel super comfortable! The ladies at the desk helped me with my insurance and my forms! The whole staff were nice and they all made me feel so much less tense! The Dr was the greatest! I just want to thank you so much for fixings my tooth and getting me out of pain!!!!!!

I needed to get some teeth removed and was experiencing a lot of pain, so I decided to have Dental Solutions extract them. Although I was very nervous for the procedure, the staff there made me very comfortable. Everyone was polite and attentive, and the procedure went terrific. I was done in no time, and I didnt feel anything! The treating provider did an excellent job, and Id recommend everyone to become a customer of Dental Solutions Roxborough, to receive the same quality care!

I recently came here to have some work done, and was very thrilled! I was very nervous, especially because I knew I needed a lot of work done, and was on a strict budget. The staff there were very pleasant, and helpful. The office manager offered me other financial resources so that I was able to have all of my treatment done before leaving. Not only did they create a smile, but they gained a loyal customer. There arent a lot of places that care about their patients as much as Dental Solutions does!

5 stars because the staff does their best and they are very polite and good at what their doing! The doctor took one glance at my x rays and knew what i needed without even looking in my mouth! The people at the front desk are professional and courteous even at 8am! all the magazines were new and the waiting room smells very nice.But dang this office is old, the pictures on the wall are so sun bleached that they are only blue and white. The dental chairs are cracked ancient yellow. The x ray machine is on an metal arm and shoots one side of your jaw at a time.Just be prepared for a mysterious time capsule! While the old and warm yellow of this office is very calming, and people say dont fix whats not broken - think this amazing staff deserves a few upgrades or at least water in their fish tank.

I was turned away from an appointment for a routine cleaning because I arrived with my 9 month old daughter sitting quietly in a stroller and was told she could not be present in the back at all, “per policy”. I had made this appointment while my toddler was in preschool and very strategically on a day I was off work from my full time job. I was asked by the front desk staff “can’t you have someone come watch her?” And I was shocked. I have never experienced this kind of discrimination against women with children in any other setting. As if it’s not hard enough for mothers (stay at home or work outside the home) to find time to do things like go to the Dentist without additional barriers being put in place. I never review anything but felt it was important in case it saves even one other mother who is home with her children the waste of time, planning and energy trying to come to this place and be turned away.

Great customer service from beginning to end. I was quickly seen once I showed up for my appointment. I dealt with three separate people, and everybody seemed to genuinely care and welcome me. The facilities were decent enough for what I would expect of a dentist office. Location was good for me too.

This office is awesome! The front desk is so good with scheduling and squeezing you in for an emergency visit. Always great with my payment plans and my dentist Dr.Shah is amazing! He’s super gentle and makes sure I’m totally relaxed before starting work. Every time is pain-free and I walk out like a new person each time!

I had an outstanding experience here today from start to finish. Visited the office at 9:45am to request an urgent appointment to repair a broken crown. Office staff was very sympathetic and thoughtful. They scheduled an appointment for 11am on the same day. After examination and X-rays, diagnosis was quickly made. Crown needed replacement. I asked if they could start the work today. They did just that. Procedure was completed as quickly as possible. Doctor and nurses and staff explained everything about the procedure clearly and compassionately. A temporary crown was installed today. Permanent crown will be ready in 3 weeks. Ive been a patient here for several years and have always had the best possible experience. These folks are knowledgeable, thoughtful, and friendly at all times. Thank you!

I feel like they took advantage of me. Took my money and did not give me any beautiful results in my dental work in fact they made it worst. I paid 5000 dollars for nothing and I want what I paid for. And iam going to keep pushing for just that with this company. Iam so depressed about this . For a company that suppose to beautify your smile made mine ugly and me very unhappy they really need to fix this. I wish I could give 5 stars but I cant. Sorry.

I had a great first time experience at Dental Solutions. It was my first visit, establishing my dentist. I was on time and they took me right away. The office is clean, orderly and everyone is professional. Dr. Norian was wonderful and explained everything he did along the way. They were even able to perform my first treatment the same day. I am very pleased.

This ofc is awesome I work in the area and the always work with my schedule. I was in need of some dental work the doctor was very knowledgeable the assistants are kind. But what made me decide to go there was the first phone call I spoke with the manager she was extremely pleasant she walked me through everything I needed to make my 1st smooth. I told all of my co-workers to go to my new ofc.

Service is always great. Any dental emergency I’ve had always handled in a quick and timely manner to prevent me from any extra discomfort. Awesome office!!

I would give this establishment 0 stars if I could. I just moved to Philadelphia and before my recent experience with Dental Solutions, I’ve gone to the same dentist for most of my life, so I was naive that dentists would try and scam patients out of money.I made an appointment with Dental solutions for a routine cleaning. They did a series of X-Rays plus a panorex which I later found out was completely unnecessary. I spoke with a Dentist for a couple of minutes then the hygienist came in and informed me that I needed a gross debridement and a flouride treatment which would be 120 dollars after insurance. She refused to clean my teeth until I paid for and received those treatments. I decided to leave and make an appointment with another dentist. They also refused to email my xrays to my new dentist, stating their system is down?Of course when I had my appointment with a different, credible dentist a week later theytold me absolutely none of the extra cleaning/flouride treatments were necessary and they my teeth are in great shape.I would highly recommend finding a family dentist, don’t waste your time or money. They’re taking advantage of people who don’t understand that care they need.

Wow. Terrible experience. I wish I could give it a zero. It seemed like the staff did not care or want to be there.-I overheard the (very young male) doctor complaining to his associates in the other room about another patient.-The doctor barely looked at my x-rays and mouth.-The doctor ran out of the room before I could ask any questions.- I was given very bad & incorrect information about my teeth/gums.- The front desk couldnt figure out how to email my x-rays to another doctors office.- They claimed that other doctors can read paper printed x-rays (The other dentists laughed when I told them this.)Save yourself some time and go somewhere where the staff cares.I went to Rittenhouse dentist in Bala the next day and received 5 star treatment.

Looks like the employees here are reviewing the practice. I have been a patient here, but will NEVER return. This place has changed NAMES repeatedly, but pretty much kept the same staff with occasional firings. Check for yourself. I believe the previous name was American Dental Associates or something along those lines. They are a torture clinic. Maybe 5+ years ago they had a couple of decent dentists, but they left (for good reason from the looks of it), and the people hired since are sub-par to put it nice and polite. One says he is a teacher at Temple and waves his ID like hes an expert, but has done the WORST dental work I have ever received in my life. This place is like going to a car dealership and dealing with used car salesman to get anything done or priced on top of the bad care. They leave you with that slimy feeling walking out after trying to get strait answers from these people. I actually think the used car salesman are more honest. Find someone else, or feel like an idiot if you dont believe this review and go to get hosed.There is no way this place has this good a review unless employees are doing the reviews.

Great service, but scheduling appears to be a challenge here. There have been multiple instances where the date they scheduled me for was entered into the system incorrectly. Expect to wait 20-40 minutes beyond your appointment time to be seen.

I cant remember the last time i went just even for a check up i gave them a chance and it was an awesome experience and they made getting a teeth cleaning painless and thanks to the awsome staff it makes me wanna keep up with with it throught the years make sure i keep my teeth for as lomg as i can.

After seeing the dentist on a Monday and being informed I needed surgery, it took calls for three straight days to get a pain prescription called into pharmacy. It should never take that long to address a clients need.

I live out of state but I come to visit my family in Philly, I can always count on the Roxborough ofc to see me for my emg . the staff is wonderful but the ofc manager is the most caring person Ive every met I will continue to come for my dental needs.

I love love love this ofc I can always get an appointment that is convenient the staff is wonderful, the doctor chair side is what I need because I was super scared. Thank you roxborugh ofc for taking care of all of my needs.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Really appreciate the late hours of operation so I dont have to take time off of work to be seen. Highly recommend this office for your dental care.

Many reasons make me dislike this clinic, mainly for the supporting staff. When I called, they put you hold for 10 minutes. I hang omup and called again, they picked up right away. Obviously, they forgot somebody was on the phone.When there was a billing issue, my husband and I called insurance and were told they billed wrong. We told dental solution roxborough this after many contacts with insurance and them, they still tried to convince that they did everything. They kept sending bills without trying to fix this issues. They finally called my insurance and found out that they billed wrong. Such a hassle!Dentist and hygienist were nice and professional though.

I will totally recommend it . my experience went well DR Kim was very much to the point he hear me as a CLIENT... and thats was very important to me. did not insist to do a root canal and pulled my bad tooth out. What I wanted!! Thank you DR. Kim!! and the staff. M.L.D

Tried this place out because it was convenient to where I live, my final opinion is dont waste your time here. I scheduled for a normal teeth cleaning through their online service where I could speak to a live representative and choose an appointment time and specify reason for visit. Appointment was booked, I received appointment reminders etc. I arrived on time and was told their system scheduled me for the wrong type of appointment and they didnt have room for me. I was told to wait half an hour to maybe fit me in and if it was longer than that theyd let me know. Waited for 45ish minutes and didnt hear a word so I walked out and will never return. Front desk seemed impatient and not too caring about the mistake in the system, acted like it was my fault for using the online appointment service. Why offer it if its not valid?

Not parent friendly. My son is two and until today hes gone with me to every doctor and dentist appointment Ive had since his birth. He sits strapped into his stroller playing with a tablet. No one has so much as blinked at me for bringing him with me. This office turned me away because they dont allow babies in the back. They do have Saturday appointments so I can work around this, but seriously theres nothing on their website about the policy, and just because you dont have a sitter doesnt mean you dont need dental care. I just moved to this city, I dont know anyone, and I dont have an established sitter. Inconvenient.

Ive had a terrible experience with this specific Dental solutions location involving a fraudulent insurance charge. They charged my insurance company for a routine X-ray study but never actually took the X-rays. I only found out about this errant charge as a result of going to a new dentist and having them request the X-rays to review and subsequently finding out there were no actual X-rays. Ive been attempting to get Dental Solutions to alert the insurance company and settle the charge on my behalf but theyve dragged their feet for over 2 months and counting. I would not get any dental work here unless you want to go through a similar experience and have your insurance company charged for no services rendered.

I would recommend dental solutions to anyone I know theyre very professional and the Dentist R very professional in what you have to have done to your mouth if you ae looking for a great smile I recommend going to dental solutions at least once so Dr. Kim can look at your moth and tell you what you have to have done

I have been to this place a few times. I must say that two of those times i walked out of there feeling beyond angery and upset. My last experience pushed me to write this review. I walked out of there in tears last week from leaving the most impatient, disrespectful, unapologetic so called doctor. (Dr. Kim j kim). This man should not even have Patients. He is beyond rude. He tries to give you anything. When you tell him how you want something he gets an attitude and insults you for speaking up for yourself. I am a strong person by nature. Went toe toe with him.even told him i felt he was being rude. He didnt even care. It takes alot to get me to the point of tears. The assistant he had that day was in the room and they both double teamed me with insults and rude comments. I couldnt believe this was happening in what was suppose to be a professional enviorment. Somewhere you go and trust the people that are there to make you look and feel good leaving out. He walked out the room without saying anything several times. I felt like he Treated me like i was a child. I gave the second star only because of Tanya who is one of the receptionist at this awful establishment. She is compassionate. She gave me a hug and wiped my tears. She is an angel. I dont know how she works in that place with that man. Tanya i hope you read this. You are the most loving and caring professional i have ever come across. I can tell that you love what you do and you have a heart of gold. Desite working under someone who has a nasty attitude. You hold your head high and you dont let that affect your heart and your character. I hope you seek employment elsewhere. They dont deserve you there!! To readers of this review. If you are unlucky and get dr kim j kim i hope you have thick enough skin to be insulted and controlled by a mean spirited Doctor with no compassion. Do not give this man your buisness.

My initial experience with the Dr. and x-ray tech went well, however, my actual cleaning was a joke. The hygienist took about 8 minutes, maybe less, to do my entire cleaning. When I raised this concern, I was told that only one hygienist was present (who I had received the service from) and that she was on lunch, and that more cleaning would be an additional cost and only a polishing was covered. I may have received a half polishing, but I guess it was lunch time. Highly disappointing, my teeth dont even feel clean.

Highly recommend this place! Outsrandom service.

It did not seem fair to me what they charged me for the revision of my teeth and some X-rays, also because in the beginning I asked how much was the cost of the revision and they did not tell me, since they told me not to worry, in the end they gave me a price list with exaggerated charges for some shims, I think it is too expensive and when I asked how much I had to pay they told me that nothing, they charged to my insurance, but when I asked how much they would charge my insurance for just the revision I was surprised with the value they gave me, and if I dont ask for the results I would not have given them my exams and they will still charge my insurance.

No complaints!

Went in for a root canal and they were able to knock out the procedure same day with very little to zero pain/discomfort. Dr. Chhitiz Shrestha is a machine! He had me in and out within just a couple of hours. The entire team is amazing. Everyone is professional, nice, and funny. Being able to laugh and crack jokes made the procedure much, much easier. Definitely recommend going here.

This was my first time with Dental Solutions and I was denied a routine cleaning. As someone who regularly visits the dentist (every six months), this comes as a shock and inconvenience. It seems a bit off.
