I just wedding dress cleaned here due to their specialization in wedding gowns The wedding was outfits so there was dirt and a couple grease stains at the bottom of the dress. When i dropped it off the employee told me “it won’t look new but it will look good.” I was charged &250 for just cleaning (not preservation). When i received the dress back it still looks dingy, smells unclean, and has pieces of debris caught in the netting. The grass stains look slightly less green, but otherwise it does not look like they did a thorough cleaning. Highly disappointed, especially for the amount of money charged.

Harry is such a life saver!I spilled 99 proof rubbing alcohol on my Louis Vuitton purse. After almost passing out, I was desperately in need of help. Luckily, I was able to Google & stumble upon a leather specialist. I frantically called Harry & explained what happened. I got there in a matter of minutes. And he was able to save my $2400 purse, in less than a hour. I highly recommend him. Hes totally a nice guy & works miracles!

I needed two suits altered at the last minute. I went into Stanton 1 Cleaners and Harry helped me immediately. He was fast, knowledgeable, and great to work with. He had my suits ready in 2 1/2 days, he fully pressed them, and gave me a generous discount for getting both suits done at once. The suits are perfect. This will be my trailer and cleaner from now on. Five stars all around!

I would highly recommend this place! Very fast, friendly, and professional. I dropped off a few very old jackets - a navy pea coat, a navy pullover, and a windbreaker. The pea coat was missing buttons and they replaced them with no problem, and everything came out looking brand new after they’d been sitting in a garage for over 10 years!

My bag was stained with a mixture of leave in conditioner and blue pen ink theybended up sending it out to be stripped and redyed it was substancially more expensive than the original quote but so worth it i cannot tell where the bag had ever been discolored so worth it for expensive garments or ones with incredible sentimental value

I chose Stanton to have my suit tailored.I have since lost the piece of paper with the gentlemans name on it but I believe it was Harry, and I wanted to thank him for the wonderful work he did for me and would highly recommend this establishment for custom work for cheap.I bought a suit from Burlington and wanted it fitted to me better than off the rack. Due to a surgery I had, my upper body is not typically shaped and the suit was more difficult to tailor. All in all, it was basically a full custom job. Harry was very attentive to my needs. He made suggestions and asked plenty of questions to understand how I wanted the suit to fit. It was about a 10 day turnaround time which I did not expect. (I expected longer) The whole thing was also very cheap and within my budget.When I tried it on, I was so happy with the way it fit. His suggestions paid off and he did exactly what I asked for. Thank you so much for the good work!TLDR:Bought a suit from Burlington and had it fitted at Stanton. Harry was attentive to my needs and basically custom cut the suit for me. The turnaround time was quick and the whole thing was very affordable. Highly recommend!

If I could give this business zero stars, I would. After being told that my items would be ready the next day, it took not one but two extra days to have the cleaning completed. They had difficulty finding the items, and this resulted in 2 extra trips costing time and money without reimbursement for the incompetence. I assure you I will never be returning here and want to point out that this business coerces 5 star reviews through offering discounts for good reviews.

Brides Beware! My parents offered to have my wedding gown professionally cleaned & preserved and did some online research to find this place. It was the biggest mistake. I went to pick up my gown, in a sealed box- which THANKFULLY I asked to open before walking out. The dress was cleaned (in a machine) with a detachable rhinestone belt which pulled at the lace of the bodice; essentially ruining my dress. The owner/individual who takes care of the bridal cleaning & preservation only took half the blame (blamed my parents for not informing him to remove the belt, yet two minutes later in his argument said it could have ruined his machine...um arent YOU the expert??). He then offered to have his mother (who is a tailor) fix and he was going to re-preserve. I came back a week later to a box that looked completely disheveled and the bodice looked EXACTLY THE SAME. I was devastated. I then demanded the money back ($250 investment) and was argued with for about a half hour before he conceded. Honestly, I should have been given more for my wasted time, grief, destroyed dress. The only thing he did do correctly was clean out some grass stains at the bottom of the dress. This was the worst retail/customer service experience I have ever encountered.

I had my wedding gown cleaned and preserved here. They did a great job packaging it and had a very quick turnaround. They offer a text message service which is convenient for me since it is difficult for me to answer the phone during the day. Highly recommended.

From the person who took my clothes to when I picked up was a great experience. The way he greeted and took my clothes (I had a lot) was comforting enough to trust him that my stuff would be fine. Indeed it was. I had asked some of my shirts to be boxed and some to be in hanger, and surprisingly they were all in correct order. I would highly recommend giving them a try!!

Best Cleaners in Philadelphia! I come from university city everytime because there is no cleaners that could even compare to Stanton. Not only do they do a great job with dry cleaning, they do an exceptional job at alterations! (I refuse to take my clothes anywhere else). They also have to best prices in town. Just moved in near Stanton cleaners and have been nothing but satisfied with the service and cleaning thus far. They are very friendly and attentive with great turnaround on clothes for whenever you need them. Had a pocket on a pair of slacks fixed and it looked like nothing happened in the first place and very affordable for the amount of clothes (about 8 items ) I bring in every two weeks.

I got a bridesmaid dress that was 3 sizes too big hemmed and taken in. Aram did a great job and was very pleasant to work with. This was my first time at Stanton and I plan on returning.

Fantastic Service. I had an invisible zipper on the seam of my pants where the zipper broke. They gave me a quote and fixed the issue in a speedy manner and the work was great. I later found out that no one replaces those types of zippers, except this Cleaner because they are so rare. They see about 4 or five a year. Its nice to know that I have such a friendly, competent and reasonably priced cleaners in the area.

This place was recommended by some Roxborough Mama’s. It was my first time there and I needed to get 2 bridesmaid dresses hemmed. Harry and his brother were very attentive and made sure I was happy with the dress lengths. Turnaround is fast too- one week they said but it probably depends if they’re busy or not. Very reasonable pricing too!Update: Horrible hem! Got my 2 bridesmaid dresses back and the hems on both dresses looked horrible!! See pictures attached. There are two layers in the dresses and the sheer top layer was longer than the under layer from the front and the back was somewhat even. I didn’t want to over react bc I can’t do it myself but if I’m paying over $100 for this on my $200+ dresses, for a “professional” to do this for me, it needs to at least be presentable. So I went to look at an old bridesmaid dress that I got hemmed a few years ago from the cleaners in the Ivy Ridge plaza and it looked very straight and even all around. Going back to my original dry cleaner in the future.Sorry to have to post this 🤷🏻‍♀️

My experience: I had a wedding to go to that was in 3 days and needed my suit completely tailored (I lost 18 pounds). I initially went to my routine dry cleaning place, but they said there is no way they could do a turn around that fast. I looked for top rated dry cleaners in philly and Stanton 1 hour cleaners came up... so I gave it a shot and thank goodness I did! They custom tailored my entire suit and cleaned and pressed it for me in 2 DAYS! I couldnt believe how assuring and helpful they were. I found my new tailor and new dry cleaners!

We LOVE Stanton Cleaners and have been loyal customers for several years following our next-door-neighbors initial recommendation.I travel for work and am sometimes in another city for several weeks. On a few occasions I have been forced to try a dry cleaners in other places (as diverse as California, South Dakota, Florida, Arizona, et cetera) with mediocre results and at a high cost.Because of my travel schedule I often arrive in Philadelphia late on a Thursday night and stagger (especially after having arrived from a different time zone) to the cleaners on Friday with a suitcase (literally) full of clothes asking for them to be finished by the next day (Saturday) so that I can leave again on Sunday. Although I do not like to be that customer who asks for favors, Stanton Cleaners has never failed me and my clothes have always been beautiful and ready on time - always with good cheer and a smile!!!!!!!We have two Siberian Huskies who relentlessly shed vast quantities of fur. The shedding combined with the dominance of black in my wardrobe means that the clothes that I am wearing when I arrive home are always liberally and visibly adorned with hair when I take them to the cleaners (no complaints - is there anything more exuberant than the greeting from the fur family members)? There must be magic in those cleaning machines because my clothes are returned with nary a hair.I have lots of clothes that were made in Europe that have unusual design (that probably makes them tricky to press) and that would be difficult (and expensive) to replace. I trust all of my clothes to Stanton Cleaners.I even take my clothes that do not require dry cleaning to Stantons because I believe doing so preserves their color and shape longer. I have also had a couple of items repaired there with excellent results.I do not believe that you can do better than Stanton Cleaners and I plan to start taking our dishes, cars, Huskies, shoes, jewelry, furniture and everything else there - especially the Huskies (just kidding Jack!!!).

Custom tailoring is something I NEED to be perfect and this place is it. The tailors here are something else. I also get dry cleaning done here and that is also 5 star quality

This is the worst dry cleaner Ive ever been to. I gave them 2 shirts, two ties and a suit. BOTH shirts came back wrinkled, one of which had a new stain on it, the other had stains around the collar. When I asked them to do it again, they informed me the stain wouldnt come out. Really? Cause I took it home and washed it myself, no special treatment. Perfectly fine. So, what is it youd say you actually did???

Staff here are always pleasant. Ive taken jeans, bridesmaids dresses, and skirts to get hemmed and tailored and always thought Jack did a great job. He even repaired a dog bed that had been savaged/loved by my dogs.

I was caught on a I-76 traffic at 6:40 pm and called him to wait for until 7:05 because they close at 7. The guy was kind enough, he waited me until 7:15. The price for my blazer was very fair.
