Eager Beaver provided an estimate for tree trimming & stump removal on May 19 and said 4-6 weeks backup. We were scheduled after approx 6 weeks, my husband took a day off work, and same day, the company called to cancel. My husband called repeatedly to see when he would be on the schedule, and was finally told the owner wanted to come out to re-bid the job b/c the estimator possibly underbid us. We asked repeatedly for the owner to call, which he never did, but the Office Manager finally gave us a day that he would be coming to look at the job again. My husband again took the day off work to be here...he never showed, never called. Thus began another round of phone calls, requests for the owner to call, etc. This was absolutely TERRIBLE customer service, and the issue went on for 3 months. Thankfully, a neighbor recommended a wonderful company who came within 4 days to bid the job, bid it for more than 50% less than Eager Beaver, and is providing service within 2 weeks of the bid. I highly recommend AGAINST Eager Beaver.

DO NOT HIRE IF IN NAVARRE!! I hired them to do a favor to my elderly neighbor. My tree branches were hanging in his back yard--he dragged the oxygen tank all the way to my front door to ask me to take care of it IN JANUARY. I was out of town at the time and we coordinated the job. Apparently, they rarely service Navarre and those jobs are at the bottom of the queue. It took a half a dozen calls to ensure they were coming out to trim. I was quoted $850 and the foreman said he was going to do my backyard. Fine, it needs it, but I really need that tree handled! So, when I returned home in March, the backyard seems okay (not $850 okay), but overhanging branches remain. Weekly calls have been answered with next week every time--just like I got from the office manager a moment ago. No, Eager Beaver--I look like a liar to my neighbor. And to add to injury, I have to pay more money to your competitor to get the job done, since next week is the best you can always do. 23 April 2021

Eager Beaver did a great job! The owner and employees were very professional. I appreciate the employees being careful not to damage anything in my and my neighbors yards. They also raked and removed all the debris. I would definitely recommend!

Although there was a wait (18+ weeks) after the estimate to get our non-urgent job done (due busy schedule & then hurricane), once scheduled, the crew was on time, very professional, did a complete and quality job of tree removal/ trimming and the stump grinding was the very next day, and the clean -up was impressive as well. Very happy with the job done, and the politeness and professionalism of the entire crew.

I can only say GREAT JOB! I called them about removal of my Hot Tub on Thursday (the week before Thanksgiving) and I knew it would be lucky if they would be able to do the job. I did have to call a couple of times but as promised they worked my job in their busy schedule. I was able to remove and replace with a new hot tub just in time for the holiday, plus removal of a dead palm tree.Again, thanks for the professional service and a great experience. Very disappointed. They did not do what the owner promised would be done. I was told to tell the foreman what I wanted in the way of cleaning up the trunks of our palm trees. They refused to do it and then tried to get me to pay them more to come back and do the cleaning that I originally hired them for! Even asked the owner twice while he was here about the trunks being cleaned. Instead all they did was trim the fronds.I called the office. They couldnt be bothered at the time to take care of anything. Was promised a call back that I never got.Will not hire again!

These guys were great. Crew came ready to go and worked efficiently. Answered lots of questions. Flexible with additional tree removal add ons. Great job with cleanup. Great pricing as well. Will be using them again later this year for phase 2 of our yard project.

Guys did a great job with my tree removal and palm tree trimming. This is the second time Eager Beaver trimed our palms; they did a really nice job. The tree removal was challenging from the start but they got it done quickly and efficiently. All round a good job at a more than reasonable price.

I had an acre property that was fully wooded and loaded with trees. The Eager Beaver crew came out even during the Christmas and New Years holidays and worked hard and got all the work done that exceeded my expectations by the time that I made it back to Florida. They had all the right equipment skill and knowledge and how to remove trees around power lines and in between numerous houses. I will definitely recommend them for any work that you need done!

They made 2 appointments to remove a tree and never showed. No phone calls either time to explain why. Dont wait the 2 - 3 weeks they say it will take, get someone who will show.

Very responsive. I got an estimate for one stump removal. They came out the very next day. Took 20 minutes. Great service.

Friendly customer service

We had 8 pines, a magnolia, catawba, and popcorn tree removed last year; all done in one day. I would definitely recommend this company for any tree work you want done; as a matter of fact, we have them returning to remove 3 oaks that are diseased. Two thumbs up!

They have the coolest tree service trucks in the area, but thats the only thing I can say thats good. Ill grant you, we never got far enough to see how the service works. Thats because their estimator showed up 4 (4!) hours late for an appointment, after we had given up and werent home, and left a card on the door. When I called them to reschedule, they gave excuses which, while unprofessional (he should have called to say he was running very late and to ask if that was okay), I accepted and we rescheduled. The second time, I called the office at 2 hours after the appointment and they told me he wasnt going to make it - and did I want to reschedule.The guys in the field probably do a fine job, but if you cant get the estimator to your place, youll never know it.They missed out on almost 9 thousand dollars worth of work. It was a big deal and a pain in the butt, and I knew it and was willing to pay for it.

Very pleased with the work they did for me. Quality work and a very reasonable price! I highly recommend giving them a call when you need tree work!

Promised tree move within 10 days. after nearly 2 months got call they were ready. With no written contract they proceeded to break a mature canary palm worth $1500 trying to move without a proper spade truck. Promised a tree replacement for 3 months then no reply whatsoever...going to small claims. (fact: these reviews include 5 star reviews only from the owner and his family)

This should have not have been done in the rain. The workers were soaking wet, in a hurry to finish and missed several dead branches and suckers. We could have waited for a better weather day.After they finished first tree and moved on to another, they missed 2 big dead branches in first tree. I told one of the ground guys and he did tell the trimmer who went back to get them.They were getting ready to load man lift and I stopped the trimmer to show him some missed ones and he said that we got a really, really good price and the storm was going to get worse so they had to get going.Also, it makes sense for the workers on the ground, who have a different view of the tree, to be able to tell the trimmer if they missed anything. I got the impression they were not encouraged to do so.They do not return calls and I think once they are done, they are done with you. We will not hire them again.

Easy to get in and out

This company maintains a professional, trained and extremely efficient crew. Hired Eager Beaver for what I thought was an emence job that other companies said were not capable of performing the required work. Eager Beaver gave me an estimate that I thought was really low. The complete job was complete in three days and it looked like a corigraphed dance to watch. Each day concluded with a through clean up of the area. Will be the first on my list if I have another project. Extremely highest recommendation for an econimical professional job.

Terrible!!! Will never ever use this company again......shotty work and gets paid and doesnt finish the job. They are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau and I would not use anyone who isnt.

All they had to do was haul off debris. They finally got the job done.

They damaged my Canopy cover and my motorcycle that had a custom paint job. They REFUSED to pay for the damages to the bike which in turn COST ME over $400.00. I WILL TELL EVERYONE ABOUT THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSED AND THE WAY THEY DID NOT HANDLE IT
