I was part of the group that just completed the UAS Professional Pilot Path operations course. Instruction consisted of 100 hours of classroom and simulator training. The instructors and curriculum were unbelievable. I arrived knowing little to nothing about UAS operations and left the course as a certified and competent operator capable of completing mission planning, takeoff, mission execution, and vehicle recovery! Great intro course to the UAS industry. The UP3 Academic course was highly educational. Having flown various different platforms already, this was a great dive into the PCC Autopilot to learn additional in depth processes and tricks. The information presented in the class, and the instructors, was top notch. This will definitely come in handy for getting my PART 107. Look forward to coming back for the live flight phase in the near future.
