After years of trying to lose weight on my own after having my baby, in 2017 I decided to reach out to Constance for personal training sessions at BOW. She customized a training plan just for me. I was able to lose all the weight I gained during my pregnancy within six months.When I moved back home, I tried to find a trainer with Constance level of expertise and consistency, but was not successful. In June, I started back training with Constance through the BOW APP. The workouts are easy to follow and Constance is always there. Every week, she provides my customized workouts through the app. So far, I feel stronger and have more energy. Constance will continue to be my trainer because she is an amazing one!
Before my dad, who is seventy-three, was diagnosed with dementia this year, I reached out to Constance in January because dad was lethargic and seemed depressed, rarely leaving his bedroom during the day and moving oh so slowly, lacking energy and strength. Constance replied quickly to my request for more information and we set up a time to talk within the week. Just a couple of days later, my dad, mom and I went to Body of Work for his scheduled fitness consultation just to determine his level of ability and fitness. That day he committed to going to Constance for 1-on-1 training two days a week.Six months in and so far the only thing I regret is not committing to three days a week instead of only two! Though we have a better understanding of my dads lethargy and cognitive decline in relationship to dementia, committing to Body of Work (1hr. sessions, 2 days a week) has proven invaluable to someone like my dad who finds it hard to self motivate and be a self-starter. As early as March, mom commented on small differences in dads posture -- his back is straighter; he raises his feet higher when he walks and he moves faster.Strength, stamina, and mobility are all too important aspects of our lives that I took for granted. I am 68 years old and retired. Once my lifestyle slowed down, I began to over indulge in eating. I began to notice the extra pounds I had gained. Whenever I’m investing into a service or product, I take the time to research all options which includes reading reviews over and over again before committing!I actually hate writing reviews because I can be long-winded, but if there is ever a service that I really support and agree with, I feel somewhat of a moral responsibility to take the time to write reviews for any organization that I find of high excellence as well as the ones I deem THE WORST. That said, I have previously worked out with B.O.W. Personal Fitness Training years prior to relocating to my current state of Maryland. The training was so effective for me that I knew I wanted to get it again, as I strive to get back into the best shape of my life!Not only was I ecstatic to learn that B.O.W. Personal Fitness Training had now implemented their new virtual program, but I was not disappointed after restarting it!Let’s be clear though; its not easy! When you first start, you might be out of breath (especially if you’re beginning again after a long hiatus like myself), you will very likely sweat, and youre definitely going to feel that “good kind of pain” the next day—which I love because I instantly feel as though the workouts are effective!Not only did the B.O.W. Virtual Fitness Training Program help whip me back into shape after the first month of virtual training, but it also increased my endurance considerably as I prepare to become a competitive swimmer this season! With the help of this program, I was able to gain the confidence that I desired to get into my swimwear and take my swimming classes with others!I will refer to this virtual program to help me maintain my results and feel good about staying on track! Constance is my personal favorite trainer at B.O.W. if you’re able to schedule with her, but the entire staff is is knowledgeable and competent! Her cueing is on point, she does not let you slack & ALWAYS provides modifiers for the movements! Very highly recommended!
BOW is an amazing service. Hands down the best personal training I’ve ever done. She is efficient, easy to work with, and her prices cannot be beat. I live out of town, so we do Zoom meetings, and it’s as good as being in a gym. We’ve been working together for about two months now, and the results came fast. I am stronger than ever!
I’m really enjoying my workouts with Constance, and I’m already seeing results after just a few weeks. I’ve lost a few pounds, have more energy, and am already stronger. I am not a self motivated exerciser, so having a set schedule and someone walking me through the exercises helps so much. We meet on zoom twice a week. It’s so convenient, and despite needing very minimal equipment, the workouts are challenging and effective. I highly recommend BOW!

I have been attending boot camp classes at Body of Work for over 3 years now and could not be happier with my results. After over 20 years of attending classes at large impersonal gyms, I found the small group exercise class to be fun and friendly. I genuinely look forward to going to class. Constance changes the routine daily and pushes us on while making sure our form is correct. The exercises are geared for any age and modifications are always presented. I am happy I found this gym.

I have been working with Constance for several years now. As a personal one on one trainer, then in a group class and most recently in a 30 minute ZOOM setting (Aug); I just keep coming back! She really cares about your physical health and about you, plus she provides a great workout! She helps you achieve your goals safely. I moved here from Louisiana 4 years ago and have been working out with Constance at Body of Work for 4 years and counting.(She has to train me until I am 70, haha). I came to Constance with nearly a decade of a set fitness routine in place. I am extremely disciplined and dedicated to my health and fitness regimen. Also, I always have to feel challenged while training. That can be a challenge for the trainer. Constance has delivered from day one. Constance does not phone in her sessions.
