Lance and his crew were fantastic these guys know they’re stuff. He bid the job based on a phone call, did exactly what I asked and left not a leave behind….and did so while we weren’t even home. A+++++

I literally chased Lance down as he was leaving our neighborhood! He was very gracious and came back and walked the property with us, discussing what we wanted. He put us on the books and was able to get to us early due to a cancellation. His dad, Mike who is the Arborist and assistant trimmed up four apple trees, a fire-damaged tree and then did the difficult stuff. Working in a bucket over the house they trimmed an ancient oak to remove the dangerous widow-makers. We were very impressed with their workmanship.

Dealing with Tree Crafters was a true pleasure from end to end. I had some large unsightly natural trees in my front yard I needed to have removed and another trimmed up. They were quick to respond and come out to scope the job. They are real pros and have all the right equipment to make short order of any size job. Best of all, they did a fantastic job at a great price! Highly recommended for any tree service - big or small.

Purchased home 9 months ago, total interior remodel that came with the requisite disappointments and frustration with multiple contractors that seems to be the norm in this town. Now working on the outside and received quote from this service for trimming all trees on the property. Finally a contractor who is responsive, reasonable, customer oriented and friendly owners and staff! Almost forgot to say perfection in the work, Hire them now if you need work done!

We were asked to remove a large tree that our insurance felt was a risk to our home. Lance was very responsive and communicated well about their ability to perform the task and the price came in less than we expected. The best part of the service was that we were in a very tight deadline and at risk of having our insurance policy canceled. They were able to get the project done in our timeline and they left my property clean and raked when they were finished!

These guys were awesome! They have the right equipment and the right people at the right price. A lot of value for the money. Lance and the team took down a few trees, trimmed a few trees and chipped up all the branches (including the ones we had piled up beforehand). They even cut the tree trunks into firewood-size logs for us. It’s often difficult to find responsive contractors in Payson who will call you back and show up when they promise. That was not a problem with Tree Crafters. I highly recommend them. We will gladly call them again.

Lance and the Tree Crafters team fit us into their busy schedule and trimmed up the trees and bushes that were overgrown on our property giving it a great facelift with a beautiful curb appeal. In addition, they were able to clean up limbs and branches near the home which could cause potential problems in the future. We bought a house in Pine and a major drawback was there was no drive way and massive pine trees blocking where one should be. I contacted Lance at Tree Crafters, came up with a plan of removing 4 trees. Everything went smoothly and while we were back in the valley his crew completed all the work in just 2 days. I almost drove past my house because it looked so different. Not only was the work of removing the trees done amazingly well but the clean up they did was very professional. Any future projects we have will certainly be done by Lance and his crew.

While I have lived in AZ my entire life, I recently purchased my dream cabin in Payson. One of the first items on my list of home repairs was the removal of large ponderosas that were dead and leaning over my cabin. Tree Crafters came highly recommended by neighbors and I am so incredibly happy I called them. They were responsive, got me on their schedule quickly and explained each step of the process extremely well. They showed up ready to work and worked efficiently and safely. While they are great at their craft and I cant rave enough about them professionally, they are just great guys. They were laughing, smiling, very friendly and you can tell they just enjoy what they do. Do yourself a favor and call them! I will absolutely use them again for any additional tree services.

Lance, Mike & Dillon worked a miracle on our property. They worked consistently and so fast it was amazing! They were very thorough as well. Our property is now fire wised, safe and looks beautiful. They trimmed up the healthy trees and removed low bushes and dead/dying trees that made the property not safe. We are so grateful for the advice they gave, the quality of the work they performed, their wonderful attitudes on a very hot day and for just how nice they all were. They also cleaned up thoroughly after they were done...even trash that a previous construction crew had left hidden in the brush! We think they are just awesome! The service was amazing!!! I received a referral from my neighbor who recently used the company to fire wise their property. I had 15 trees cut down due to bark beetle infestation. Lance and the team did an amazing job and provided excellent customer service along the way. The team removed all trees without incident and neatly stacked the logs for use in the fireplace.

I selected Tree Crafters from others local to Payson. Ive been gradually firewising my property over 4 years, however a large native Pinion Pine in my rear yard overhanging the roof required trimming skills and expertise done correctly without damage to the structure.Correspondence with Lance by email, text, phone and in person was prompt and attentive. The Tree Crafters crew arrived on time and did exactly as planned plus a few added requests, then cleaned up all debris before leaving.Resulting from all that, my most adjacent neighbors are now scheduled for their own projects. Its a win-win towards firewise readiness, since our homes back to the Tonto NF. Highly recommended!

Lance responded when I put a request in on Angies list, within about 30 min. We were able to get the job done quickly and he was very professional. I will definitely use them again and referred neighbors already as well.

I would definitely recommend Tree Crafters for tree trimming and removal. I have very big trees on my property and after 32 of snow fell in my area, tree limbs cracked off and some trees were split down the middle. Lance Chabot gave a very fair price for the clean up and the crew was hardworking, profession and efficient. Their equipment was excellent for the job I needed done. In a town where my previous experience with customer service has not been very positive, I found the quick and professional response of Tree Crafters to be refreshing. I have an appointment scheduled with them at the end of next week and will provide a review of the quality of service I receive at that time. So far, I’m nicely impressed.Ok, so they scheduled the tree removal for Saturday morning. They showed up early (but not too early) got busy.... and it was a big tree. It took them the better part of the day, but like I said it was a huge cottonwood. They took the tree down, left me pieces of the trunk like I asked, cleaned up the mess and after finding out that I am a Veteran gave me a discount. ( without me asking if the gave Vet discounts). So, all in all I give 5 out of 5 stars. I liked the customers service, professionalism, and customer care. Add that to the cost effectiveness and I would recommend them to anyone with tree removal needs.

This is the first time weve ever had to have any tree services. After this recent storm gifted us with more than 2 feet of snow, a number of large tree limbs in our yard snapped or split. We had a few completely detached throughout the yard, but a number split from the trunk but were still dangling over portions of our roof, our neighbors roof, etc. We couldnt leave them there because the trees would likely suffer, and there is no telling what damage could be caused during the next big wind storm. We contacted Tree Crafters, and even in the midst of so much clean up around town from the storm, they came over quickly to assess the damage and provide an estimate. In short order, we were able to schedule a date to take care of all the damage. They arrived promptly, they worked quickly, and they were incredibly safe, professional and knowledgable. And while I didnt want to part with the money, I would absolutely pay it again knowing the care and preparation they put into removing all the debris the right way.

Tree Crafters are an amazing outfit. The crew was so gracious to work with my neighbor and myself at once, even though we had different needs and wants. Tree Crafters quoted an amazing price and started work 20 minutes later. What a blessing since a snow storm had toppled half of the huge oak tree. Over a 2 day period the gentlemen were gracious, patient, and professional while working, protecting, and cleaning up our properties. Tree Crafters was amazing, and good to their word! They went above and beyond! After a major storm came through, a different company left a huge pile of debris (almost a whole tree) behind. Tree Crafters not only expertly did what they were hired to do, but also cleaned up this enormous leftover pile - out of the kindness of their hearts. The entire clean-up and total job done was amazing, even looking better than when they started. They were very polite, and super hard working. I was more than thankful they were on the job!

I would highly recommend Tree Crafters for any tree removal needs. I e-mailed a request for a quote to have a dead pine tree removed from our backyard area and Lance returned my call within 24 hours. Lance showed up the next day to assess the job and provide a quote. We initially scheduled the work for Friday, but I received a call on Wednesday informing me that they could actually do the job Thursday morning. Lance showed up to do the job right on time and had the job completed in less than 30 minutes. The job was done professionally, ahead of schedule and at a very reasonable price.
