Jason & CO are the absolute best! I happened to stumble across them performing live at a wedding expos and knew instantly I wanted to book them for my upcoming wedding. I am so glad I did! Excel entertainment is best in class without questions. Jason was great at feeling the crowd and tailored music selections so that there was a little bit of something for everyone. We have gotten so many compliments from our guests with special shout out to the band. It wasn’t easy pulling a wedding in the midst of a pandemic. But even under current circumstances, our wedding was a night to remember (and the entertainment is at the heart of it all!)

Jason and his team were phenomenal for our wedding! They played all of our requested music and all of our guests expressed their appreciation for playing a wide range of genres for all generations. They transitioned well between live band and DJ. They truly made our evening one to remember and we never left the dance floor! We had a blast and I highly recommend them!!!

We went to Excel Entertainment for our wedding on September 5, 2020.On a professional level, Jason was always immediately available, and did a tremendous job helping us plan our wedding through the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite venue and date changes, he was able to make it happen.From a performance perspective, they were nothing short of exceptional. From the sound quality of their equipment to the lighting, we could not have been happier with out choice to go with Excel Entertainment. But most importantly, the music exceptional. We knew they were going to great, and yet still managed to exceed expectations.We would hire them ten times over. Jason is the best! Hiring him was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He was very communicative throughout the entire process. We had a sit-down meeting to discuss all our wedding details and Jason was pleasant and very easy to talk with. My husband and I felt 100% confident going into the wedding that he would do a fantastic job, and would play exactly the songs we wanted -- and he did! My husband really wanted to make sure our guests danced throughout the night, and Jason with his crew and band expertly read the room to keep playing the songs we wanted to hear. Everyone had the best night, thanks in large part to Jason!

Our DJ was one of the most important vendor decisions to us, dancing/partying was a huge piece of our wedding so this hire was critical. I can tell you that without a doubt, Jason and the Excel band were absolutely perfect. There was not a second of our wedding that the dance floor was not packed. Jason at Excel Entertainment came highly recommended by our venue, The View on the Hudson. My husband and I had a lunchtime ceremony, followed by a formal reception. Excel Entertainment blew our minds and made our wedding day the most epic day ever! Not only did they DJ our wedding with a full band, but made it insanely memorable not only for us but for every. single. guest. (Seriously. ALL the guests I spoke with said our DJ was the best wedding music/performance theyve ever experienced.)When you have a mix of ages, personalities and walks of life in 1 room, its hard to find a mix of music that is pleasing to everyone, but Jay and his crew made it happen playing everything from Bruce to Bruno Mars! When we first started to plan and sat in his office, I could tell that he was very detail-oriented which was super important to us. Playing our favorite punk hits from Sum 41 and Blink 182, to bringing a more romantic vibe with Alicia Keys, set the perfect tone for the night. It was an absolute pleasure working with Jason from Excel Entertainment. From day one, Jason took the time to get to know my fiancé and I, and our tastes and preferences. He asked questions to clarify to make sure our day would be exactly as we intended. He even went as far as to send us song tracks anytime he thought we may like one. Excel Entertainment offers such a unique style of music..getting everyone on their feet til the end! I especially loved listening to some of our favorite electronic and house songs, with a live singer to go along and some percussion to give it a unique and awesome sound. We had a very diverse crowd at our wedding and looked everywhere for a DJ who could accommodate. Everyone we met with just seemed to be stuck in the ways of your typical “New Jersey DJ” and we just didn’t feel comfortable with any of them. Then we met the guys from Excel. They are truly on the next level. We knew from the moment we met them that this was the company for us. They knew exactly what we wanted and the delivered! Our guests were dancing all night. Jason and his team at Excel Entertainment were beyond amazing! We had our wedding on 5/25/19 and we couldn’t ask for anything more! Jason was a true professional and although my fiancé was stationed overseas he totally understood our vision and arranged last minute meetings with us to ensure everything was just as we imagined! All our guests had an amazing time and they continue to rave about our dj, photo booth, light effects and more! We had a very mixed crowd and he was able to please all age groups!
