I have an older Brother machine which I needed help with today. I had outstanding support from Robbie, who explained the cause of the problem and how to fix it for myself and/or how to obtain parts without spending an arm and leg. Such a welcome to surprise to find people who know that they are talking about and dont treat you like an idiot. Great job, guys!

🧵💯🥰🥰🧵Sewing heaven 🥰🥰🥰🥰So I came across to this establishment while my recent trip to West Palm Beach and I absolutely fell inive with this store they were very patient,professional, friendly and took time to assist me and even gave me so much confidence to move my business to the next level and I bought some really great fabric while there the owners even gave me a demo on how to use the machine and really helped me to make an informed decision before purchasing my machine.I will definitely be buying more and I have definitely referred my friends and family members love this place.

I bought a basic sewing machine from Lauras 2 or 3 years ago. Ive been very satisfied with the machine but I dont use it often. Today I needed to use it but had trouble with the stitching. I took the pants I had been working on and went to Lauras for help. Laura looked at the pants and said she knew what the problem was. She had the same machine in the shop and set it up. She sat with me and showed me how to properly thread and insert the bobbin and had me finish hemming the pants I brought with me. I had forgotten a step or two in that process and that was causing the problem with the stitching. I cant say enough good things about Laura and the service and help you will find there. I recently bought a sewing machine and had issues figuring out how to use said machine, YouTube was no help so I decided to take a class that is offered that teaches any type of person how to use a sewing machine, right from the moment I walked in I was greeted with smiles and quickly set up for the class, Laura’s son “Rob” taught me essentially everything I needed to know about my machine along with other tips and tricks to sewing, all within 30 minutes, I am now VERY confident with my sewing machine and tremendously happy with my experience at the store and with the staff, if anyone has doubts about sewing I would 100% recommend stopping by Lauras Sewing to either take a class or just ask questions, it definitely wouldn’t hurt.

They were great on trying their best to fix my sewing machine. They got it to straight stich at least its going to sew straight for me... itll work good enough for work to help me out. Dont want to bring in my other machine to work... but they are exceptionally friendly people and worked great with me and actually didnt charge that much. Thank you to Lauras Sewing and Fabric!!!!

Took my machine in for service, repair guy completely ignored what I was saying, sewed 2 lines, said it was fine and I was the problem not the machine. He then packed up my stuff and escorted me out. Excuse me!? Strongly do not recommend and I will not return there is no excuse for that.

Ive been trying to support small businesses and it was the biggest mistake Ive ever made. I can assure you Ill never do it again. I had an 18 year old singer that just needed to be cleaned and serviced, then I had a toyoya super jean needed to have the bobbin Winder changed. On my Toyota I was using a metal bobbin instead of the recommended plastic bobbin and I ended up Dulling the hitch that holds the bobbin, so it was only winding up the bobbin halfway with thread. Of course it was getting annoying to have to keep rewinding bobbins halfway through project. So I called the manufacturer and order the part that I needed for replacement. I took both machines into this store. I probably should have taken a hint when the young man working on machines that he never work with the Toyota before but honestly Im an optimist. I didnt think it was a big deal he was just changing the bobbin Winder. I get my machines back about a week later and the singer that needed to be serviced was still dirty and literally had no light bulb put in which is what I told him I needed done. To add insult to injury I take my Toyota home and get ready to wind up a new bobbin to see how it would work and I kid you not the entire machine was not working. It sounded like there was some kind of crunching inside, as if you left something loose. So I brought it back into the store the next day and you would think these people would be falling all over themselves to get this corrected as soon as possible. The first thing that young man says is all I did was replace the bobbin. I guess Im just confused about one thing. If all he did was replace the bobbin why is it he tested the singer and let the test strips as well as a complimentary bobbin inside the machine showing that the machine is working. Yet you actually replace a part on the Toyota and dont test it to make sure its working. The look on his face when I walked back in with that machine said everything I needed to know. He is fully aware that he damaged my machine and said nothing and let me walk out the store with it the day before. Then they check my machine back in, and instead of working on that machine immediately to fix the mistake they made apparently they threw me into the back of the line with all the newer machines coming in. Which I do not understand. Your company damaged my machine and its been almost a month now. Ive been running my business from my original singer that Ive had for about 20 years. Its still works great but of course I had to go get it serviced somewhere else since you didnt do that job correctly either. I really dont know what I was charged for. Quite frankly Im going to pick up my machine either today or tomorrow and depending on what the cost is to have it fixed Ill have to handle it in small claims court with his company. Fortunately for me I have video proving that my machine was in perfect working order since I also run an Instagram account. But I think its crazy that I have to go through all of this to get my Toyota fixed in reference to damage they caused. Ive been very silent and patient but this is the worst experience I have ever had with the company. And quite frankly I understand why people choose big business as opposed to small. Now I wish I had just kept using the bobbin Winder the way it was. It really was not worth all of this. Im very upset because the Toyota was the first machine I could afford years ago. Im so glad I never bought the embroidery unit from them. The idea of giving these people 12 to $15,000 almost makes my stomach turn.

They offer sewing classes and fun seminars with the stars of sewing.This is a family run business with a down home feel. I get my serger repaired here and my vacuum too! Love, love, love this place!

They are always happy to help even due to user error. Would never buy anywhere else. In addition, it is always wonderful to buy local.

One stop shopping for quilting addicts! My mom is a skilled quilter and within minutes, the cheerful staff helped her find all the fabrics and accessories she needed for a quilt for my future great nephew. They have everything you need in stock and a vast array of threads and unique fabrics. It also looks like they have space for classes.
