Mr. Brickman is a professional, fair and incredibly experienced mediator. During my meditation process he made clear to both parties of the options available to us. His relaxed but reassuring attitude allowed me to feel comfortable and clear headed to make the best decisions during the divorce process. I was very comfortable with resolving matters and truly appreciated his efforts to offer suggestions that were only for the best for both sides. He definitely made the process of my divorce much more manageable. I appreciate all his efforts and truly recommend his services to others.

Last month, Mr. Brickman was scheduled to appear at a hearing regarding a Scribners Error made during a Mediation session he conducted and was paid for. This Error was brought to his attention and discussed prior to the scheduled hearing. When he did not appear at said hearing, he was reached by phone only to say he did not remember. This error was made during his paid for Mediation Session, yet he did not appear and was unprepared for this Scheduled Hearing! His handling of thisError was/is extremely unprofessional; simply stating he did not remember, again unprepared! It just so happens that opposing counsel is the Headline Advertiser on his website and is also listed as the scheduler for Mr. Brickman, Hmm, what a coincidence?!With regards to your response I see you found the time to prepare a response? The result I was looking for was for you to be prepared and admit there was an error. As far as a most credible testimony, what testimony, you stated you dont remember? As far as 1 day notice maybe you should consult with your scheduler, you know the opposing counsel and headline advertiser on your website?!As far as errors yes I agree they are made and can be corrected, but just like at Mediation you imposed your will with the typical norm, did not listen and ultimately did not do what is best for my son; which was the whole purpose of this mediation, something you lost sight of!Yes all parties ultimately PAID you in advance, agreed and signed the agreement, error included. Once it was brought to the attorneys attention, he immediately reached out to you in the beginning of June, remember you were out of town and you spoke twice with the attorney! At that time you stated the same initial response, that in the end. over time the time-sharing will average out. I agree it will but , that was not the intent, the only Break was supposed to be Summer Break. The error should have and could have been corrected, but because of your lack of memory, and with no preparation or acceptance of responsibility it was not.As far as me being in my childs life, it has nothing to do with this mediation or your actions, error and all, so please do not pat yourself on the back!Regards

Matthew was great during my mediation this week. I was able to come to a resolution with someone who is deplorable and unwilling to cooperate 99% of the time. I was actually pleasantly surprised we came to an agreement. Matthew was kind, patient, well versed and experienced. He knew how to talk to both of us impartially and had great suggestions. I believe if we had a different mediator one of us would have walked out before coming to a resolution. Thanks Matthew!

Matthew Brickman did an amazing job! Not only did he write up the mediation agreement real time while helping my ex wife and I to negotiate details in the midst of a flood of emotions, but she and I left his office able to have a decent conversation again. He sent the attorneys out of the room, and we hashed things out in a very short time. He is truly a peacemaker, and has shown to be the best at what he does! I would not only recommend him, I would insist that others use him to help them in this difficult time!

Going into mediation I really didnt expect much to be resolved. My ex and I had met prior to mediation and within 10 minutes it was about to be a blood bath, so mediation seemed useless. Matthew exceeded my expections!!! My wife, soon to be Ex wife, came in late, as usual, and didnt have her packet or financial affidavit filled out, not even started. He was able to answer her many questions and restore her confidence in the process. I went ahead and helped her finish her paperwork. We took 3 hours and we had a signed and notarized agreement. Mr. Brickman was very professional and friendly. His work is extremely thorough. Although the other side began violating the new agreement within 2 days of signing it, this was certainly NOT due to the mediator. Mr. Brickman worked very hard to design a plan that would be fair and iron clad. I would definitely use his services again (if necessary) and would definitely recommend his services to others.

Use Matthews services for a mediation with my ex wife who had taking my son to another state without my permission or knowledge. Trough out the session he had no real care for a resolution of our issues but I felt his only interest was for the clock to tick so he could claim his fee. I also felt toward the end of the session he took the side of my ex wife. It was not a good experience. I will not recommend his services.
