I had some bad haircut experiences, in the past, but she helped bring my hair back to life and renew some self-confidence. Now, my hair feels like its on the path to being healed, and feels so much more manageable than it has in a very long time.Thank you, Deidre!

I went to Deidre for the first time during the pandemic. Good Covid-19 safety measures in place. My hair dresser of 20 years had recently moved and I hadn’t been to a hair salon in 6 months. I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to continue relaxing my hair or go natural. Deidre provided helpful input after asking questions to get to know me. I was pleased with the hair products used, the cut, and style. She is friendly, attentive to detail, and professional.

Deidre is awesome! I got exactly what I wanted and more. She did a great job with my perm and was super friendly. She let me know what she was doing the entire time and gave me some helpful tips and advice. Im definitely going back to her!

When I moved to KC 5 years ago, I didnt know where I was going to go to get my hair done. Through a random Google search, I stumbled upon Deidre; she had good reviews and accepted appointments online so I decided to give her a try. Im so glad I did. Shes professional and good at communication. Shes usually the one to remind me when its time for a relaxer. Shes flexible with her appointments and always let me know if she is running late. She never overbooks herself or has more than one client at a time. Plus I always love my hair!

She does great work and suggests the best advice on hair treatment. Very professional and down to earth. Offers free samples and even refreshments. Her equipment is new and the shop is in a great location and easy to find. She is welcoming, helpful and skilled. Highly recommended!

Deidre is a great stylist and technician. She is certified in extensions and uses beautiful products. She did extensions for my daughter to help with hair thinning and they look amazing! She is also an educator for Amika products which are terrific.

This was an AWFUL experience. She says she familiar with natural hair and this is NOT TRUE! I asked her for a simple style and was convinced to do something different bc “she doesn’t like to braid” I asked for small braids. I asked for a trim where she cut my hair completely uneven and one side was almost twice as long as the other. I messaged her to ask if she could take a look. Once I got there with my hair dry and in combed she took a pick pulled out the longer side and cut it SHORTER than the other side. I tried to explain over and over that my hair has never been cut this way(pulling out random areas and just cutting, no measuring or checking ONCE!) She the. Told me how much experience she had with natural hair which was proving to be wrong especially after she cut that she apologized for cutting that side way too short and “she realized she had messed up” after I told her repeatedly this was wrong. I would in no shape or form allow her to cut another piece. After 2 years of growing my natural hair I am in tears! She also had me apply my own products! DONT GO HERE. UNPROFESSIONAL

This is my first review ever and first visit at Deidre hair studio. If you’re looking for a friendly, Clean, and professional environment, this is the place to go. She did an exceptional job on my hair. Like my boyfriend says “ it’s so perfect”.

Deidre is a true hair professional and educator. Her salon is top notch and is on the cutting edge of the latest technology and hair solutions.
