My dad had passed away in Jun 2020. Notify the company and provided what back then seem to be all the requiered documentation. They opted by sending the check in the name of my deceased father. Which I cant change. Went through this process 3 times and now after 14months of waiting. Now they are telling me that additional paperwork is needed and the14months they cant make the change. Basically telling me that they will keep the money that my dad didnt get to use. Food for thought stay away from them. AD USN.

This company has shady business and accounting practices. They cancelled my home insurance for non payment. When I provided PHYSICAL PROOF in the form of a cancelled check and payment stub, their response was their accounting department made a “review” and the policy was cancelled. Now I have to go through a lawyer to hold them responsible and honor the policy. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

We were with Amica for 10 years with to 2 vehicles insure full cover. We had always made our payments in time but due to a last minute family emergency flight and soon after one of our vehicles catching fire we were late by one day for just $20 , why $20 because in the mist of everything going st once we made the incorrect payment, the very next day we went to make the $20 payment to correct the whole amount a d we were told our policy was canceled and they will no longer reinstate it. Their only for the money but when you need your insurance in your lowest, this company dont care about their customers and so disloyal with poor people care. Stay away from Amica.

DO NOT run advertisements for services you can not offer. If you cant provide Home owners services in the State of Florida, stop advertising.. Your company is NOT different, as you claim.. Youre the same insurance company as the rest.

I have been with Amica for just under 50 years. Rochester(NY), Pittsburgh (PA), Miami, then Vero Beach, (FL). Life, Auto, renters, then home owners, even for a while boat insurance. Fair rates, excellent claim processing, helpful & professional staff. We never have had a even slightly negative experience.

A driver hit me and the police report even determined the other driver was at fault. They had Amica insurance and they refused to repair my car. My insurance came after them and even then they only paid the deductible to my insurance company, after 4 months at that. Amica is a scam, take your money and pay nothing if you wreck! Thank God I had USAA to fight them.

Not sure how they have an award for outstanding customer service when the representative is rude and arrogant like they’re too good for me to request a quote. I already know there limit requirements and only wanted a quote for a new vehicle I’m considering purchasing within the next month. We didn’t even get that far and the rep was ready to be off the phone. You guys may need to train your call center representatives better or have them leave their personal issues at home so that it doesn’t translate on a call. Rudeness equals a reduction in revenue eventually. Even on a bad day Geico reps acted in such a way, they are consistently pleasant.

Excellent company. Ive had 2 major home claims in 15 years. Both times they responded within a day. inspected within 3 days and I had a check in hand within 10 days. Had 1 auto claim, but damage wasnt enough for the claim. Even so, Amica informed me I could choose whomever I wanted for the repair but should get at least 3 estimates, and that I should let them know who I chose. They then arranged and paid for a rental car that was on site of the body shop I chose when I got to the shop. Dropped off the car and hopped into the rental! How sweet is that, lol.

Last car was totaled and I was not at fault. When I leased a new car I shopped around for insurance and found amica way cheaper than all the others with better coverage. I tried to buy coverage and was told I need to wait until my previous claim was fully settled and then I can buy the policy. Its been settled so I called back to purchase an auto policy and was told that if u have filed a personal injury claim in the last 39 months they will not accept you. Why couldnt they tell me that to begin with? Apparently rates quoted online are just a basic number for anyone who has never had to use insurance for any reason. What was the point of me listing the claim to get the price, maybe it should just stop you when you say u have filed a claim instead of continuing ahead to customize a policy u can never buy!

63 years old driving a Toyota Yaris 4,000 miles/ year. Homeowner, 823 credit score, no tickets or insurance claims in decades and they raise my rates $500 / year to $1667. Goodbye, good riddance and please get a grip. $167 per month for coverage? Absolute insanity, goodbye and good riddance.

You never know how good your insurance company is until you need to make a claim, Sadly it happened to me, I will say this, Amica were on top of everything, they called almost daily to make sure I didnt need for anything, checks were sent out so fast and everything was taken care of, My customer service agent was calling the repair shop every day chasing them until I had my car back. if you want a insurance company who has your back.. Amica is who you need to be with. Amazing customer service.

I have been an AMICA customer for over 10 years, some lady backed into my Lexus LS 460 back in 2017, AMICA sent me a check for the repairs which was not much at all, something like $600 the insurance of the lady at fault ended up paying for the repair so I sent the money back to AMICA, In over 10 years AMICA has NEVER had to pay for anything under my policy to repair any collision. It turns out that yesterday as I was shopping around for new insurance I learned that this was reported as a loss against my policy which is very BOGUS since the money was returned to them. Scammers I will be taking my business elsewhere, as a matter of fact I already have.

Terrible customer service. I had Amica insurance for over 3 years with automatic payments from my credit card. I had called to cancel my policy but when I contacted them, they said my policy was already canceled? I asked why, and they said for nonpayment. however, i told them I was enrolled in automatic payments and thats impossible? They said they sent me multiple emails yet when I checked my emails, the last email I received from them was in February (3 months ago) and nothing from them since. They could not provide proof that they sent me any emails, no mail from them saying my policy was canceled, all they kept telling me was that it was sent out to me. I paid the balance when I found out yet they would not reinstate for the time i was uninsured. Dont use them, they are completely unhelpful and unapologetic

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE REPRESENTATIVE.They sent me email about a quote that they offered me through their website. I called their number and gave them my quote ID. The woman on the phone sounds like an old woman with strict and slow voice. I patiently answer all her questions about my quote. I told her that I have a car accident which I am NOT at fault. And my insurance took care it smoothly and everything. Then she said Unfortunately, Amica cant give you coverage no matter who cause the accident. If you have any kinds of accidents, no matter its your fault or not, they wont accept you. The she hung up the phone right on me, without notice!!! How rude is that?!!OMG! If you live in Florida for more than 10 years like me, how can you dont have any kind of accident by someone else? No matter you are a extremely careful driver, it would be happen at least once in your life. What the heck this company sell for? You denied coverage for a customer just because they have accident that not their fault, with 10 years driving with zero tickets? Ridiculous!!! :)) lolz Dream on, baby girl AMICA!!!

Horrible experience would NOT recommend. When my policy came due for renewal, my rate increased $50.00 a month. No reason, other than the rep stating there was a storm, with a large amount of claims. None of which were mine. I found a better rate with another reputable company and cancelled my insurance with AMICA. THIS INSURANCE COMPANY NOTIFIED THE STATE OF FLORIDA THAT I CANCELLED, EVEN THOUGH I TOLD THEM I HAD ANOTHER CARRIER. MY LICENSE IS PENDING SUSPENSION because of this. All because I told the rep from AMICA that it was not relevant which insurance company beat their rates. The rep DID NOT TELL ME THAT IT WAS NECESSARY IN ORDER TO AVOID MY LICENSE BEING SUSPENDED. That being said, FLORIDA FARM BUREAU IS GREAT, BETTER RATE, FRIENDLY SERVICE, DISCOUNT FOR HAVING HOI WITH THEM. : ) !

They have an unfair policy. If someone in a household has an auto accident or a claim and you are not that person who had no claim or accident you will be denied for an individual auto policy. This insurance must clise its doors

The worse company I have ever worked with. There is an error at the DMV and all I need Amica to do is sent a simple fax, that would clear it up in 10 minutes. Customer service tells me only corporate office can send that fax but refused to reach out to the corporate office to address it. From the supervisor on down the worst customer service I have ever received form any company I have worked with.
