A surprisingly great place to shop. Usually for cat stuff I buy it online but the employees here are knowledgeable, friendly, competent, and willing to help out.I plan on shopping here for my cats needs!

We are so extremely grateful for the manager that let us know we left it there and waited for us to get back so she could give it to us. I’m giving it 4 stars because sometimes they don’t have what I’m looking for. This is a pretty good store from my experience living here almost my entire life. I’ve never heard of my family having a bad experience.We have done dog training lessons here as well in the past that turned out well for us. My family buys dog, fish and cat supplies here.I have been in a few times to see the cats. They have some amazing cats sometimes. I’ve never adopted from Petsmart, but I like to look for fun.I haven’t had issues, so I recommend this place.

I love how much of selection this petsmart has! So many options for building fish tanks with plenty of hardscape materials. The fish tanks are clean and the fish all look vibrant. Wish more petsmarts were like this one.

I took the Beginner training course for my Husky/German Shepherd pup - Alanis was a great trainer and I was able to utilize a lot of the tips and tricks outside of class. I was also bringing Kenai to grooming at this Petsmart location and the staff always did a fantastic job. We had the most interaction with Malena, who was so sweet and kind. She truly made each experience a special one. Kenai and I have relocated back East but we wanted to say thank you to Alanis, Malena, and the rest of the Petsmart staff - two paws up!

Was happy to walk in and find a plethora of my dogs type of food. The other place is often out. Also love the giant toys for pups.

Do not waste the money on training!!! My trainer did not teach me anything new of what I’ve taught my puppy on my own and watching YouTube videos. She also had no energy and would not speak up, so it was very difficult to hear anything that she would say. Worst training class I’ve ever had!!!

Staff around the property are friendly and the groomers are awesome as well. Some of the new/more popular items are harder to find here as theyre frequently out of stock but theyre quick to set it up again. Ive never run into a situation where I couldnt find what I was looking for. Bring your pup and make a day of it

Favorite pet store. Prices are clearly marked, which you wouldnt think is something special, but I remember being confused at the cash register at Petco when everything was rung up.

People at the store are very nice and helpful. They have a wide variety of dog treats for training and dental care as well. Their toy aisle didn’t really seem like it was fully stocked, so pickings were slim. Lines also moved very slow, even though they weren’t long at all.

Prices are higher than Amazon, but there customer service is way better.

Great help and they had lots of items to chose from. I got my wife a fish tank and lots of food and toys for my brother-in-laws kitten.

I am not a fan of their proprietary brands. They are choosing too sell their own products for vested interested, rather than selling quality products that are good for our pets.

This place has friendly staff members and lots of good treats for your house pet(s). Not much for farm pets but they really dont at any of them. It is clean and my dogs have fun going here because it is so huge.

Dont order prescription food online from PetSmart They are slow at getting the vet authorization and then even slower at getting the food delivered once they receive authorization. Chewy and PetCo have you upload the prescription and deliver within 4 days. PetSmart takes days calling the vet (even when the vet is part of the animal hospital associated with their store). Needless to say we ended up having to drive to the next town to find the food since we would run out before the order arrived. Customer service was useless and could not do anything to expedite delivery or compensate for the wait...

My review is of PetSmart and their care for CHINCHILLAS. I have not observed any other animal care.It pains me to give low ratings to any company, but I think people need to know to avoid the harmful products that PetSmart carries for chinchillas. The employees all seem kind and the store is well-kept, but I have seen way too many harmful things for chinchillas in their store. They sell lots of toys that contain glues and dyes. None of these have anything that says the glue/dye is natural or safe, so I’ve avoided buying them for my pet. You can tell that these toys are meant to be appealing to people so they get purchased. The chinchillas don’t care to have a cupcake wood chew. They sell lots of plastic products and even have plastic in their chinchillas cage that has been chewed on (toxic for chinchillas). If you own a chinchilla, you know about their strict diet of only hay, pellets, the occasional rolled oats as treats, and wood to chew on. If you go to PetSmart, try to avoid food that contains seeds and nuts and just get pellets, but wooden platforms/feeders (pictured) or just make your own. They’re easy. Anyways, I hope PetSmart will get rid of the harmful products they carry so chinchilla owners buy safe products for their pets. I think a lot of people assume that PetSmart is the expert on all animals and anything they carry is safe for their pet—this is not so. We’ve had a really hard time finding safe products for our chinchilla. (Notice the pictured PetSmart chinchilla eating the dyed bedding 😔)

I got a new puppy. I havent had a dog for 20 years and had never shopped at PetSmart. I took him with me to look for everything I thought I would need. The associates at PetSmart weighed him for me, helped me find a good puppy food to transition him to, helped me find a clicker to train him with and gave me a welcome kit with all kinds of coupons for supplies. Hes a happy healthy little boy and I couldnt be more happy.

Great selection and decent prices plus deals with a free membership. Nice, pleasant cashier.

Came in and Jamon asked if I needed help and he was super helpful with getting me started with a new aquarium and everything I needed to get it going and Maria was also very nice and helpful! Going back to get the rest of the supplies on Tuesday to get 100% there for my tank! Very very pleased with my visit!

This is a lovely and well kept pet shop. Very healthy animals and regular adoption events! I loved the cats they had, very deserving of homes--adopt cats! They have hairless guinea pigs here and they are AMAZING. They seemed super friendly through the glass and now I may purchase one as a pet in the future. They also had some gorgeous doves!I only saw a single dead fish out of likely over 500, thats pretty great and it was just a feeder goldfish. There was also a dog poop 💩 and some poor girl stepped in it 🙄 it was kind of funny but also gross 🤢.

Scheduled our dog to get groomed and was rescheduled 3 times for various reasons. They tried to reschedule a 4th time but we didn’t let them. When we got our dog back the grooming was a terrible job! I could have done better with scissors! They left long spots by all the joints. I honestly wish I never bought my dog in

Always fun to go to petsmart. I wasnt sure where the cat treats were and I asked an associate and she walked me over too them instead of pointing it put to me.

Lines were too long and prices are to high. I paid 5 dollars more for my dog than what I pay at petco. I wont be back.

Having a hard time getting my dogs nails trimmed with their walk in only service. Ive even called ahead and been told they werent busy but was turned away when I arrived a little while later. I really wish theyd let me book an appointment for a nail trim.

My wife made an appointment for one of our dogs to be groomed. She made it online with their package price that included a long list of things they are supposed to offer.So they dont unless you pay more.The manager reached out in order to convey that he was sorry about the misinformation and offered free grooming for another one of our dogs.This wasnt the reason we complained we simply wanted the website to accurately reflect the services. But when we show up the manager isnt their (sick apparently) but even though they verified the offer they decided if he wasnt there to do the work they werent going to. ONCE AGAIN the right-hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing and then to beat all one of the employees leaves the grooming area and says they didnt pay the first time. Did pay apparently the groomer is not as smart as my dog, paid the package price of $55 for just a cut.This kind of under breath dissing on me was absolutely uncalled for and I will never go back!! Strongly recommend finding another PetSmart if you are a committed member because if the grooming staff of this one treats me this way how do they treat dogs when you arent looking???????????

I am NEVER coming back to this PetSmart location EVER! There was a product that I needed for my cat, I even checked the website before I came over to make sure that they had it in stock! When I got there, I didnt see the product anywhere! I thought to myself okay, perhaps if I found an employee, they might be able to help me.I walked around the store 4 or 5 times and NEVER came across an employee! The only person that I saw working was the cashier, and they had a huge line and I was not going to interrupt the.from their job!

Clean and really easy to find what you are looking for! Weve had a difficult time selecting fish from one particular location, when they get home they were old or sick and didnt live long. Other animals seem healthy, if a little skittish. Go to place for pet supplies, but I prefer a good personal seller for animals.

Convenient, friendly staff, reasonable prices. However, supply for certain kibble brands for my EB is limited or not available. But I still like the store as a whole.

I am here from our of town and my dogs needed grooming. I stopped in to see if there were any openings. They put me on a canceled list. Two days later they called me. Blanca did an exceptional job on both of them. I’m beyond happy with the way they turned out and the friendly and kind atmosphere !

NEVER shop at Petsmart!!!! I will never shop at this chain store again! Every experience has be horrible. Let me explain; I called today and I was checking to see if they had a fish tank in stock. They told me they wouldn’t go look because of company policy (What?!!). So I drove over an hour to their store only to find that the fish tank was actually NOT in stock. What a joke!! A week ago I got yelled at and was told to leave because I didn’t have a mask on (I have a legitimate medical condition). I’ve also bought fish here only to be challenged by a worker about whether I should be buying the fish I want (and I’ve done my research). I am NOT impressed with PetSmart and their customer service! I will NEVER again spend money at this store!

I have always loved this pet smart. The employees are usually always happy and helpful. Almost every employee i spoke to there actually has animals of their own so they are able to help us more.

I’ve bought an fx6 filter and it’s gone out in under 6 months. Which is pretty frustrating since it’s pretty expensive. Plus everytime I go I have to wait Atleast 10 minute before an employee decides to helps with goldfish. So in my opinion it’s not worth the trouble. Go someplace else that actually cares for there customers.

I went in for some items for my rabbit. The aisles were well spaced and stocked. The aisles were marked so that I could find what I needed. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Petsmart is always fun to go to with the dog, however the prices are easily beat by amazon.

Checkout line was a bit long but overall positive experience. Employees were polite and helpful without being overbearing. Huge selection of dog food. Good sales on several different products.

Extremely poor experience with the grooming department. My wife took our dog in for a bath appointment who was neutered 2 weeks previous. The people began scolding my wife and raising their voices at her for bringing the dog in. We were previously told he’d be able to be bathed 14 days after the procedure. Extremely rude people.

Petsmart grooming was able to get my dog in on short notice and did a good job bathing and cutting his hair and nails. Easy to get a hold of and very quick!

Always top end merchandise at PetSmart. Plenty of employees to answer questions. Just about all pet services available.

The grooming department is unprofessional. We set our first appointment and they called last minute to cancel. We then scheduled two more appointments and they cancelled both a day before. How many appointments do we have to book in order to get service? Truly unbelievable. We decided to get service through an independent groomer. I suggest that others do the same.

Kinda annoyed. With the curbside pickup to be more detailed. Waited for maybe 15 minutes after I used their app check in and but then I still had to call to let them know I was outside. And even after that it took about 10 maybe 15 minutes for them to bring out a bag of litter. Just took a sec which was kinda odd to me.

Great place to go and get anything for your pets. Im big into aquariums, and they helped me find the right chemicals and plants to help balance my tanks ammonia levels. Really friendly staff!

PerSmart is always a reliable place for the basics. I find their prices a little higher than some of the local pet shops like Animal Arc and Jays Jungle, however, their selection and variety of products is unparalleled. You will definitely overpay for crickets here and they have very limited offerings of other feeder insects. Their hours are also better than some of the other options in the area.

If I could rate their grooming department lower than one star I would. Lets start off with how I made an appointment for my adorable Chocolate lab boy, Duke, three months ahead of time. I had called and asked which groomer was strongest and best at dealing with difficult nail clippings, so I was directed to groom with Sky. Let me just say, she did a lovely job last time and as far as I know everything went off without a hitch.Fast forward to today- my dog was dropped off at PetSmart grooming for his regular bath and nail trimming. They told my mother in-law that it would be a FOUR HOUR WAIT.By the time I was finished with my sons birthday party we were going to be able to pick him up. So I called them and asked if they would call me when he was ready. They said they would contact the number on file (which was mine) but still contacted my mother in-law. My mother in-law called us and said she just got off the phone with the groomer and that Duke had a panic attack and collapsed out of sheer exhaustion and stress due to being thrown into a kennel for two hours and then dragged on the bathing table. My poor boy just couldnt handle the stress. I called them back immediately already on our way to pick my dog up and asked what happened. Only to find out that the person I had booked his appointment with three months in advance was not even in that day, nor was she scheduled. My reason for doing this is to get my dog used to one person so he isnt as afraid when he goes there and meets an unfamiliar stranger that is messing with his nails, which he has a problem with. They had gotten absolutely no work on my dog done, within the three hours that he was there. My dogs eyes were bloodshot from the clear stress that he was having and the high blood pressure that he also had.Now I would like to say that my problem is not with the groomers. My problem is with PetSmart. They are clearly overworked and overbooked. And need a new system in place. I had asked if there was a way that I could schedule an appointment that would get my dog in on the time that I scheduled him for. I then was told that I could pay an extra $15 for an Express groom. What is the point of having scheduled appointments if you dont keep to them. It makes absolutely no sense. Even the person in front of me in line at the store end of PetSmart asked me why my dogs eyes were so red. When I got my dog home he was drinking water like he hadnt had any in days. So I am guessing that they also have no access to water as theyre sitting there for hours on end. I also am sure that he had no potty breaks from sitting in a kennel that hes not used to. Which would feel like torture to me if I was the dog. I highly suggest doing your research on groomers and going to someone that you trust and steering clear of grooming here.

The store in Orem, Utah needs more workers. We walked all over the store at around 1 p.m. and saw one checker and one worker helping someone else. We waited and asked the worker for help when she was free. She was eager to help us and very nice but very hurried. We picked out 3 hermit crabs and I told her I wanted to check them out to make sure they were alive, especially since we lived over 120 miles away. She pushed on each and said they are all alive, put them in a box and told us they would be waiting at check stand 1. We waited at the checkout for 15 to 20 minutes or so. Very long line. We purchased the crabs and left. Later, we checked them out just prior to starting our 2 hour drive home, one was dead. It had obviously been dead for days by the smell. We had to return it to the store. They were happy to exchange it but we could have been saved the inconvenience, if the workers could have just slowed down. Schedule more workers please.

Well, I would say the crew at Orem Petsmart, are on the ball!!!!!. I had alot on my mind and forgot to mask up before going,inside. I got 2 , count em, 2 steps inside the door and they were on me. Nicely and politely getting and having me put on a mask! First place Ive went that actually seems to care about the spread of Covid. Not to mention they had my boys favorite toy( could find in stock no where else, even online) and this toy makes our,day every day, SO ....thank youPetsmart, Orem , UT for making our days alittle brighter during the lockdown. 👏👍🥰😁😎
