I chair meetings at this place. I love to chair the meetings here for people who is just like me.
I always love coming back here. This place is truly doing Gods work.
A safe home while getting things in order.I have been able to gain much support here and knowledge. I have found so many new members of my family here. This place has played a large part in saving my life.
Its a awesome place for recovery! My best friend is in there and he is doing excellent in his recovery! Im proud of you Freddy! You go boy! From all your friends and family and friends in Christ! I love you!
Help a lot of people
Great program. Great ppl run it but Maggie is a liar and will turn on you in a heartbeat. Cannot be trusted with medication either
Its a good program to get into just coming out of prison and a justing back in to soicety
I love this place because it help me at on y recovery. Its a very good place to be at. The staffs are great people too.
I love this place. It helped save my life. The cook, Robert, is awesome. And the overall environment is pretty legit
This rehabilitation center is as good as it gets. Im in the I.O.P.classes and you will have a great time learning how to control your addiction.
Great apartment, somewhat cheap rent, community sticks together somewhat.Dont like being treated as if I have something to hide. No need to watch me pee for a ua, my job at the hospital doesnt do that. Dont always feel like my best interest is at heart. Seems like more of a dictatorship
It has gave me hope shown me the right way to live and helped me build new friendships that are amazing. I am the happiest i have ever been. Thank you Staff
My experience at the Stephen Center ( Hero ) was a good experience. I learned a lot about myself and how to deal with life. I would recommend this treatment if you need help.
Pros: shelter, food, a bed or a mat if the beds are full, somewhat secure (theres someone at the door during the day, place is locked up tight at night). Some of the staff is extremely caring & helpful.Cons: Some of the staff is not caring or helpful. Its cramped, and there are rules about laying down/sleeping during the day, regardless of physical or mental health issues.Potential pros or cons: meds are locked up, good if youre trying not to abuse them, bad if you have as-needed medication.
This place is amazing and can truly help anyone who is willing to put in the work to change their life
Compassionate, dedicated staff that bring knowledge, discipline and tough love to the forefront daily as they seek to equip others with the tools and support systems to succeed.
Super staff, super service, super nice, altogether super fitting of their name of hero program.
MY GRANDFATHER OWN THE BUILDING YEARS AGO. IT WAS ABAR, PROBABLY 50-60 YEARS AGO. DOES ANY ONE KNOW THE NAME OF THE BAR? thanks clydeandbettybaker@gmail
I may not be in the HERO program but Im in IOP and from what Ive been through and from talking to people that are in the HERO program I dont know about any other places but Ive never met better people to help me and to try to understand me
We are truly given a new lease on life!
Not all that when it comes to some of the rules and a Woman staff member using threats to get you to do chores & if you disagree and when trying to explain why you cant do that one chore she try to assign you to. this woman staff member writes up bogus actions , that turn into a Warning , and you can be put out the shelter... She Email another staff member to kick you out. Wth!So you left out this decision not ask what happen or even having a meeting but a note on a board stating their actions , you automatic guilty & not able todefending yourself...Its like this one woman staff member feel she got the Power to decide who stay & leaves. So for that I rate a 2. Im going to fight this decision. Its BOGAS!
Is pretty much the Hilton of Homeless Shelters... The Staff here is amazing!!!!!
Its a nice place to stay for a little while but unfortunately the women in charge of the facility seem to have a problem with other strong willed women. They claim to help people but DO NOT help with fuel vouchers but instead offer bus passes when they have them or pay $22.71 for a one way taxi to pick up your prescriptions and then leave you stranded in the Wal-Mart parking lot with a 3 year old, only to use your personal prescribed medication for others. It is ludicrous. I am a woman who takes charge and applies myself to whatever task that GOD ALMIGHTY sets before me yet I was told that my spiritual convictions are racist. My personal experience with this facility was not a good one. I gave it 2 stars only because it is a new facility and it was, for the most part... clean. ~KK~
I was here with me my wife n 4 kids they serve poppy seeded and sesame muffin my wife dont smoke they made us leave at 9:30 pm with nasty attitudes i ask can we wait until the morning because nothing was Open at all they asked me to stay with my kids n my wife just leave were new to omaha dont know nobody here at all why would i do that? Knowing she dont smoke n knew it had to be something she ate at the shelter but no one was trying to hear me there just wanted us to hurry us and leave with 4 kids n all our belongings 4 suit cases and 5 bookbags with 4 kids we got to omaha on the 3rd of September they drop us the same day her system was clean then drop us after they serve the dinner knowing what it had in on the 11th of september 8 day later i didnt like that but a so call shelter when someone comes to shelter they have no where to go for REAL and we so new to Omaha dont know the streets or anyone out here BUT THIS IS HOW THINGS ARE DONE THERE KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS SERVE then drug test everybody to make a revolving door out of a shelter
The staff care about the mission and are always extremely friendly. Great place to be a part of.
There doing an excellent job helping others.
Nice new complex. Looks nice. Lots of cops, bums, drunks, homeless.
Wonderful caring, knowledgeable people. They take the time to listen to you!
Great place doing great things for people in recovery or homeless. This facility makes a real difference in peoples lives.
Not very equipped for disabilities very strict in their policies with disabilities its very difficult just sit up in the hard chairs from 8 till 4 so you can lay down for a bit and there is no exceptions they even will refuse to take a doctors request the good thing is the staff is very helpful and friendly
This place gave me the tools to change my life. Thank you to the staff the friends I have met and the chance to help others

So i was kicked out and i was bully but you got staff wroking here who are gay and doing sex acts with clients why do they get to stay and you got staff who steal here but they got to stay but the person who was doing the right thing gets push out and kicked out and get the police called on why is it ok to steal and bully may be staff needs to look and a security graud here and they need to look at a better security cams here so when people do steal they can look at the video tapes from the security cams but i got 2 cell phones stolen but nothing ever happen but i was the one who got kicked out
They do wonderful work here
The place is clean professional I hope they help me out because I got in a little trouble and I have been told to go there by a probation officer I have yet to hear from him even though I filled out the application but I imagine that pretty busy
Nice staff and great food. If you go there be ready to gain some weight.
HEROS program is a great place for addiction recovery.
Great case workers and great people for support.
Do NOT get an evaluation done here.Made sure I had to do outpatient treatment so they could make their money off of me. Bunch of greedy d-bags.
Front of facility looked clean and presentable and only a couple people hanging around once you turn the corner people everywhere smoking and being pretty disruptive along with trash all over the place.
If you need help, this is the perfect place!
We must stick together as Americans
Dangles shelter over your head Must follow corporate dodge, treat you as inmate.
