We ordered our item on August 10th. Paid for 3 day shipping. It is Sept 2 and we still have not see the product nor can we get a clear answer on when it will be here. In addition, I was charged more for the shipping that what was quoted. I would like to escalate this to a supervisor but my calls are not answered and the voicemail is full. When I do reach anyone at Central Transport they keep saying it will be delivered the next day but never is!

Our order had been held at their facility in Omaha which is 2.5 hours away from our location for almost a week. In order to get any responses we had to be on an extended hold period each time. Day after day we called and each day we received excuse after excuse as to why our order couldnt be delivered. Each day we were told our shipment will be delivered the next day. They put a number of holds on our shipment even though none of them should have been put on the order in the first place. They never called to get clarification before putting these holds on our shipment either.The process of getting the hold(s) removed resulted in many conversations and continued requested that did not go through. Finally, we ended up canceling our order.

These guys lost a brand new $5,000 planting attachment that took 2 months to build and now leaving me to rent one for over $1,000 on top of it. After waiting 16 days since pick up Im allowed to file a claim. They are saying it could take up to 120 days to process the claim. Cant get anyone on the phone. Look elsewhere for carriers. I ship goods for a living and this is not normal practice. ZERO STARS NOT 1.

Poor Business Practices - We were hired by Central Transport to replace their HVAC system in September 2019 with a signed contract and purchase order and we still have not been paid for the job. I am sure they would not deliver a product for a company that does not pay their bill. Very disappointing at the response with this issue from the Corporate Office. I would never recommend working for or doing business with a company like this.

Not a good company to work for in the Omaha area. I applied at this location about 3 weeks ago for the 3rd time, they got me all excited about a line haul position to Sioux City Iowa and said I was the guy they’d been looking for to fill this position. I had a face to face interview with the driver supervisor then was called back in for a phone interview with an HR lady everything seem to be going great. The guy interviewing me wanted to expedite the hiring process to get me on board faster told me “your about to make a lot of money doing this LH for us, so be looking out for a call from me next week so we can get you trained up” a week goes by I hear nothing. This would be my 3rd time applying with this company since I’ve obtained my CDL in 2017 all to be lead on & discriminated against for whatever reason and when I call the Recruiter who relentlessly called and had me emailing my Licenses, med cards and MVR’s to ask him “hey is there something I’m doing wrong on my application or is there something on my MVR I’m missing that’s preventing me from getting the position with you guys I always get to around this point and then I’m denied” as if they’ve found someone more qualified for the position which would be fine but then 3 days later I see the same position I applied and interviewed for on indeed, Craigslist and other class A job sites! So to all minorities Class A drivers in the Omaha, Nebraska area be aware this company may show a form of Prejudice when you go and apply i hate to come to that conclusion but it has happened every single time I’ve applied for this Detroit Michigan-based company that doesn’t even offer direct deposit

If I could give 0 stars I would, I deal with the freight claims at the company I work for and I happen to come across a shipment that was smashed and clearly broken (Pictures below) we Noted on Bill of Lading of damage and filed claim immediately, after months of going back and forth and getting the run around, Central Transport only paid $4.63 for a $1300 system, I DO NOT recommend using Central transport

Im still waiting for two pallets of product to be delivered that shipped from 500 miles away (one day drive). It has now been over a month and no one knows where the pallets are at. Good luck trying to call someone when you are on hold for 45 minutes and then the call gets dropped and you are on hold for another 45 minutes, only to hear we are looking for it. The pallets they dont loose take three times longer to transport than other freight companies.

I applied at Central Transport for a Local P & D position. I filled out an application in person at the terminal. I had an interview with the terminal manager that same day. The whole process only took a couple of days before I was offered the position.

I was told my product would be available for pick up on the 23rd. My product was not picked up until the 25th because the driver arrived before the scheduled pick up time, was turned away and told to come back the next day. It was supposed to be delivered on the 29th. Due to high freight volumes my shipment was pushed to the 30th. When I asked for an ETA on the 30th, it was pushed out to the 31st. When I asked for an ETA on the 31st I was told it was pushed out to the 1st. When I asked about depot hours so I could drive and pick up the products myself, I wasnt given the hours. Instead I was given a link to submit a request and after a phone call I found out that it could potentially take 24 hours to change my shipment from delivery to will call.My company is on hold because of the inability for this shipping company to fulfill its obligations. I will NEVER use this company again for LTL and Im sharing this information with other logistics personnel.
