They do everything they can to make our job easier and more productive. Their number one priority is Safety and it shows with all their high-tech equipment and newer, well maintained trucks. Thank you Werner for all your hard work and dedication to us drivers I really appreciate all you do 😁

Life changing career opportunity. Werner has treated me better than some government employers have. Great benefits, treat them with respect and you’ll get it in return.I showed up to orientation properly dressed Unlike everyone else. Gave respect unlike everyone else and in return I was given a great trainer.I ran hard everyday the second that clock reset. Yes, some days aren’t the best. But that doesn’t mean you cry and complain. 90% of the job will work in your favor if you allow it.How do you expect to get into a flawless new truck from Werner if you couldn’t even wear a collared shirt day 1. Or say yes ma’am.Don’t read the negative comments. Those people didn’t work hard enough to influence your future.

Don’t believe anything they tell you! If they can’t put it on paper it’s more than likely BS! They do not pay detention and the layover only amounts to $50 for a 24 hour period. Werner’s pay tops out at 50 cents on the refrigerated side and Safety bonuses non existent, miles bonuses is all you’ll get and I guarantee you will have to fight for every mile you get! There are far better paying companies to work for, don’t just settle for the first one you come across.

Consistantly in the shop for repairs.Never paid me for break down. Had me in the terminal sleeping on a love seat like a homeless person waiting for my truck. Had me use personal conveyance to drive to shippers illegal. Waited and complained so much about my truck that they finally sent me out of state to pick up another truck. 8 HOUR DRIVE just to find out the truck I recovered had more issues then the one I had. Didnt pay for training. They gave me a preventable accident I was never notified about. Took them months to notify me and forced me to sign a document admitting guilt. safety said if I didnt sign I was going to be fired. I NEVER SAW THE PROOF NOR VIDEO. HE SAY SHE SAY.I went broke working for this company. when they did have me running. I was running my 14 clock. They encourage me to run over my clock to make it to shipper.Regret coming to Werner Enterprises for my training and for my first trucking job. Still one of my worst experiences in trucking.

I drove for Werner for 8 years. Youre #1 job is safe, on-time delivery of the customers goods. If you cannot accomplish that on behalf of your company, the customer will find another transportation company that will. Please be aware that this should be the objective of every driver on every load. Werner will try to accommodate the personal needs of a driver, but a driver needs to give his dispatcher an incentive to want to help. I have found the best incentive is to always be truthful and help him accomplish his job.The staff is very knowledgeable in Omaha. Roy Hendrick

It sad that companies can discriminate against you this way and nothing can be done about it. To each is own if you choose to work for this company. They don’t care about people. I got paid one week $32.50 when unloading pay is $60 per unload and $40 per stop, when average unloading is around 2-4 times a day. I let it be known they said theyll add what is needed to next pay check. The next pay check came out to be $64 I let it be known that I cant live on the road and when I get home time take care of my family on not even $100 for 2 weeks. Quick to do a advancement but I refused like any driver would and requested what was owed. Went around the world and back on excuses why Im not getting paid then I finally took a stand and let it be known I refuse to move my truck until I get paid. Needless to say they decided to recover the vehicle instead of paying a employee who hustles there rear end off for the company. Be warned your pay looks funny dont take the bull

Werner Enterprises headquarters building. Your Werner ID is required to enter all buildings. Safety and CBTs is in the building with Computer Based Training in neon lights, receptionists are always nice and happy to direct you where you need to go. Big 4 story building, basement is the company store, gymnasium, quiet and regular lounge, weight room, barber, bathrooms, and arcade. Second floor is dispatch. 3rd and above you shouldnt be there if youre a driver. There is also a cafe around the corner to the right of the main building (technically behind and attached) that serves good food. Shop is on the south side. Be sure to drive slow and yield to pedestrians and be professional, this is the postcard location.

I used to train drivers for Werner for years and almost all of my students quit within the first few weeks because they hated their dispatchers so much. I would routinely get calls from former students asking for help with harassment. Not only did HR not help, they made it worse by defending the dispatchers, which encourages them to harass drivers further. If we behaved the same way the dispatchers behave towards drivers, we would be arrested and given a restraining order.

Avoid at all costs. These people will accuse you of the same things over and over again regardless of what actually happened. They will also ask the same questions over and over again. Ive reported them to the DOT a few times for encouraging drivers to go over hours or run on broken equipment. They refused to send me $50 lumper checks for Walmart. They refused to reimburse me on new parts I bought to fix their busted trailers. They refused to fix my AC when I was rolling through Yuma for them when it was 120. They told me to, and I quote, Get over it.Multiple times I was denied home time, often when I was 30 minutes away, or time to go get medicine, for literally no reason. They told me, and I quote, You dont need [medicine]. They told me that I dont need medicine that directly affects my heart, eyes, and kidneys that was prescribed by a doctor of 40+ years. When you do get hometime turn off your phone. They called me all hours of the day and night, during a shower, and even when I was in surgery to assign me a load. I had let them know MONTHS ahead of time of time I was taking off and when Id get home theyd claim ignorance or you didnt let us know. If there was a 0 star I would put it. I got out of school and was excited to start with what I thought was a good company to work for. I had just recently left due to some serious issues.Dispatch on the weekend and nights leaves you making no money. which then leaves your check under $300 a week at times. which isnt even minimum wage, so that is a department of labor suit .The equipment is absolutely tore up. I have videos of how my truck poured rained on the inside of my cab. It would give me had breaks when the truck wasnt even moving because the electrical was soaked along with other electrical problems that could have cost lives (which is a DOT safety violation). I took it into the shop and waited for days, twice and it was never really fixed, it still got me wet and impaired my view. Oh and just so you know I did not get paid for waiting (which is a department of labor suit). Also every time I went out of my way to call in a trailer problem and get it fix for them when others wouldnt it went on my safety record, so I went from a 0-54, how ridiculous is that? Just the companies safety record, my DOT is still good. No wonder why no one ever say anything to have them fixed. The benefits department is inhuman as a single mother I put my dependents on everything I thought, oh but I forgot one little box. They made my life hell, for me to make them do it, when it would of took like 5 sec. and during the appeals I sent in that were denied (inhuman) all my dependents were uncovered and anything could have happened. The payroll department forgot to take my deductions out one week/check and the next week/check without warning they took them out leaving me and my family with no check at all. Forcing my hand to leave the company and try to find another that, well might be truthful (wage suit with the department of labor). WARNER ENTERPRISES INC. (trucking company) SUCKS, DO NOT WORK THERE, SAVE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE AND TROUBLE. And if you had problems with you truck you need to report it to the DOT so they can investigate. Let us not, let them get away with this any more. REPORT! REPORT! REPORT! I can not say it enough.dot.gov (safety issues), eeoc.gov (discrimination issues), dol.gov (wage issues), $10.50 is a mandatory wage law if you are not making it they are breaking it. Lets stand together.

First of all I would like to tell people that are looking for a driver job to stay away from this company the pay is low and everything they promise you is all bulls**t nothing but lies just to get you to drive for them. They dont care if they dont get you home on the time you request everything is about Werner and you dont mean one dam thing to them. I never seen one dam cent from them for my schooling and when I bought something for the truck or if I paid for a hotel I never got reimbursed like they say you will . They keep pushing you as hard as they can and if something starts to go wrong with your truck like for me my ABS light kept going off and when I kept bringing it up to my dispatcher that I need to get it looked at he kept telling me that there was no time so thats just another sign that they dont care about your safety. But the one thing that pissed me off the most is when they told me that I needed to stay out two weeks at a time which I didnt have a problem with but when the dam weekend came they shut me down when I still had almost twenty hours left on my seventy so what was the dam point in staying out for two weeks at a time. I recommend staying away from this company even when I gave them my two weeks notice they still didnt get me to a terminal on time they tried to keep me running for them but I said the hell with them and drove to the terminal I was supposed to be there on Friday but I had to waste a day and drove the truck on Saturday because they still wanted to try and use me.

Stay away! Terrible company to work for! If your new be prepared to sit in a hotel for 3-4 weeks waiting on a trainer! Hopefully he speaks English bc 65 % they hire don’t understand a damn thing you say! You were warned!
