I joined Midwest Matchmaking because Ive been out of the dating world a few years and I wanted help getting back in and tips on how to up my dating game. Its been a lot of fun, my matchmaker Alison has been super helpful with coaching. As of this writing I havent met a match yet but Alison and I are working towards that goal. I generally feel that the folks at Midwest Matchmaking care and really do want to help people find love. Id recommend it to anyone.A fair word though: for the price you pay for something thats not a sure thing it can sometimes be very frustrating. Go into this with no expectations and have fun. I went to Midwest Matchmaking because I hadnt dated in years and was super nervous about getting back into the dating scene. After my first meeting with Courtney a lot of my initial fears were put to rest. With background checks and ID verification on all their clients, you dont have to worry about catfishing or misleading profiles. Its also nice to know that every potential match is someone looking for a long-term relationship and not just a one night stand like other services. If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. This is the worst company ever. My fiancé and I started dating a month after he signed up and they still made him pay for 3 years worth of service. I cant believe this company is so disrespectful. We have 2000 added to our debt if not more from this company. This company has ruined our life. I appreciate you for being so heartless. And Ive told everyone I know how horrible this company is. My fiance went on two dates in two months not by choice. He wanted to be able to go on multiple dates. So they didnt even do their job.

It is a Scam. They do not have enough people in the database to outsource any dates. They relay on Facebook for dates. Customers do not pay big money for a dating service to scrape dates out from Facebook. I am sure most of these reviews are fake. Horrible customer service as well.

While driving one day I saw a billboard for Omaha Love and decided to give it a try. James knew that he was ready to look for the one so reached out to Omaha Love. Though we both met other people no one seemed to click for either of us. I was a bit skeptical when we where matched but after looking at his profile and information I felt perhaps we would hit it off. James felt cautiously optimistic about meeting me. I had seen Omaha Love advertised around town, had been single for awhile, and decided to take a leap of faith. I had done the online thing before, including a couple of Christian ones, and I was completely done with it. I also attend a large church, but was mistaken often for being younger than my age or unavailable. My first meeting was with Courtney and was surprised that she spent over two hours talking with me without any pressure. She and Alison also understood that my faith is important to me and assured me that there were several gentlemen that would meet my criteria. A couple of things that I really like are that they are locally owned and operated, not to mention that they took time to listen. In addition, they do screen as well. I signed up for Omaha Love after a slew of horrible dates from online dating sites. I figured, whatever, why not try this, at least they have to do the work for me by setting me up and arranging the date and these people all have to go through a background check.I only went out with 3 gentlemen because by the 3rd, I found the one! I was initially hesitant to go out with my now fiance, because he seemed boring (lol) and like our only common interest was that we owned cats. He ALSO didnt want to meet me because I lived in Lincoln at the time. Our fabulous matchmaker Sena asked us both to just go out once for an hour tops and if we dont like each other then thats ok. So we begrudgingly went out, and wouldnt you know it... we shut the place down because we couldnt stop talking and laughing with each other!Weve been together for two years now and on our two year anniversary he proposed! I felt the need to do a review as i have been stewing about it for months & months other need to know what a JOKE ! You pay high dollar money for nothing. You are not allowed to use your own pictures, they want you to use the ones they take. If there is a picture you upload they will take it down. The data base is very very slim pickings for the general fee paid clients. Most of the clients on the data base you can find on the other dating sites as well. Omaha Love have another data base with more elite clients, but of course this is another fee you have to pay to get to dates with those clients as you dont get to see their profiles only the staff sees.So what do you actually get for this high priced match making, if you want to call it that... they basically contact the individual for the date, tell you what venue you are meeting up at & what time, all for a high priced dollar amount that you pay for a year.

I am/was a client of Omaha Love (OL). For me, I prefer the approach of OL because a match maker screens all clients and all photos are taken by the service. I also like that matches are selected for me (-I cant figure out 2-D on-line dating website profiles, they dont make any sense). While on-line dating websites present options based upon algorithms, OL selects matches based upon common interests, human intuition, experience and having seen the person in real life. I think this increases the likelihood of compatibility. From my perspective, I like having a match maker to talk to and ask questions. I also prefer the traditional approach of the service, whereby a man calls to confirm the date a few days in advance. There are ground rules and that offers comfort. There is also a grand diversity of men. I have gone on dates with so many different personality types and backgrounds. That has helped me learn a lot about myself and how to date. * When I first signed up for the service, my only goal was to learn to date in a safe environment. After being off the market for about 21-22 years, I had no idea what to expect. I knew on-line dating wasnt for me... It was so confusing and overwhelming. With OL, I feel like the pace is comfortable. I dont feel overwhelmed and I genuinely feel like my match make (Sena) cares about my path. OL fits with my personality and goals, and that is lovely.
