Took my laptop to Heartland Computer to fix an issue with the charging port. It was fixed in a very short time for a reasonable price, and the service was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone!

My Laptop was slow to boot up and sometimes it would just stop. I took it in and visited with one of the owners. She was very nice and said they would run diagnostics. The next day they told me what was wrong and the cost to fix it. I agreed and late that day I got a call telling me it was ready. Went to pick it up and she was extremely nice to me telling me what they did. Bottom line. They will get all my business and anyone I can refer to them. Thanks

I took my personal, three-year old, (freakin) computer into the Omaha Heartland Computer store, on West Maple Road, because I had used the computer repair store that had been in the same place, years ago. The customer representative was very nice, polite, and accommodating. I did not have to wait at all, and she was very thorough about being committed to understanding what I thought the problems with my computer were, and completely typing them correctly into her business computer. I cannot comment on their repair pricing, because I do not have enough experience with various computer repair stores pricing, to judge competently. However, I will tell you that it was much cheaper than buying a new computer, which I was contemplating on doing. I also felt good enough with their service, to buy a yearly service contract . Thank you, Heartland Computer! I have stopped pulling my hair out, and shouting obscenities! at my P.C.!

Female here: Ive been going here for years. Staff is always very friendly and prices are decent. Ive had issues in the past with other local PC repair business always talking condescending towards me, and Im like Im taking this to you BECAUSE yes, I KNOW I dont know a dang thing about computers. The staff never makes me feel dumb about it, they take it and give me a quote and fixes the issue, which is all I want. They have an online service that you can check the repair status live, and will shoot a text when its ready to pick up. Ill forever only use this place.

I chose him because he is the only person I could trust for these kind of high tech work. He is highly recommended by my colleague and has a proven track record for long long time. I had the worst experience at this repair shop. If you are a woman do not come to this place, they will not help you. I made an appointment for 10am at the Council Bluffs location and after calling the Council Bluffs store several times I decided to reach out to the Omaha location. The same person running the Council Bluffs location is running the Omaha location as well. They disregarded my appointment and made me wait four hours for someone to show up to the Council Bluffs location. I then waited two and a half more hours just for the man helping us to keep accepting walk-ins from off the street instead of assisting us. He then tried to charge me for the laptop, after he explained it isnt fixable. The worst customer experience I have ever had, very disappointed.

Im going to be very honest here and tell you that the first time I ever entered Heartland Computers Council Bluffs (Ia) store. I was less than impressed. After speaking with Roger, the owner, and him telling me a few things to clear u[ any misunderstandings on my part, I have changed my mind about this company. Roger recently replaced my hard drive after it was failing...Im very happy. He did it in a timely manner recovering all the data. He also spent time with me explaining Google Drive backups. He did this for nearly a half hour (at no charge) and it ran past closing time when he could have been home with his family. Very happy with his work.

I dropped my laptop off late Thursday morning to update to Windows 10 and to add a SSD hard drive. They were closed Friday due to bad weather with ice so they opened again Saturday morning and I went and pick it up. Very fast and thorough service. Still getting used to windows 10 especially since this laptop is nearly 7 years old and is not a touchscreen. But Raj is excellent to deal with and this is the second time Ive use this shop and wont hesitate to use them again.

Took my laptop in to Heartland Computer when it became corrupted and I could not get into it. Heartland cleaned up the software update and found some malicious software that my expired security software had missed and it is running perfectly now. They were fast and at reasonable cost. Plus they do not charge to just evaluate the rproblem like everywhere else I have been. Recommend highly.

I wanted a upgrade from my old amd system i build over 5 years ago. So i went to Heartland Computer to see what they had (saves me time from having to wait for it to be shipped). I went there and the staff and owner were really nice and informative. I built my entire computer from parts i bought from them. Every thing works great! I had 1 issue were my psu i thought didnt have a 4 pin connection and i called them. The owner was really nice and told me to come in with the psu and he would have a look. He took the 8 pin and showed me it split so to be used for 4 pin connections if needed. I felt stupid but we both laughed and joked about it. Very glad i came here and met these wonderful people. Great products at a fair price. Would recommend to a friend for sure! Included i have pictures of my build that i created from Heartland Computers.

I HIGHLY recommend Heartland Computer! I had spilled water on my work laptop and was in a panic because of all of the client files and documents I had stored (of course I didnt have them backed up) Roger was able to recover my documents, install a newer and faster hard drive and reinstall my programs and documents for me. Went to get my laptop fixed due to hardrive malfunction. I went to best buy first and they said 3-4 days for fix and were talking over $200 for the repair. I tried something new and went somewhere else and ended up here and had my laptop in and out in 24 hours and at a great price! I ended up paying under half of what best buy wanted. This is my new go to place for all computer needs. Great people and great service.

I was going to be in town last Friday and called about 15 minutes before closing on Thursday evening to see about getting help with a failing hard drive and a network issue on Friday. I was told that they didnt help out of town customers only locals so I should try to use Best Buy instead. The lady on the phone didnt want to help someone in need so that is the reason for the low rating. I would prefer to shop local that is why I called Heartland before the big box store. My phone only asked to do a star with no prompts for a comment. My hope is that customer service is better in person vs what I received on the phone as a potential client.
