Got a Red Jeep for the bad weather, was brand new, very clean & from start to drop off it was a very easy & efficient Car rental. Everyone very helpful & made the trip very easy for us. The whole process of getting the car & returning it took 5 minutes.

Cant recommend Alamo at this location enough. I rent from them for about a week at a time at least four or five times a year and have never had anything but the best service. I pay for luxury usually, or a 4 door wrangler during the winter and have gotten my choice of any car every time. Had a Mercedes C Class that was loaded, a nice Jeep Wrangler 4 door, and last week they gave me a brand new fully loaded Volvo XC90 that still had stickers all over it which I highly recommend as a side note. They are quick, helpful, and very affordable. I would not rent from anywhere else moving forward.

I have been working with Alamo for 3 years and travel all around the US. They have a high level of customer service and dedicate themselves to helping you through anything. Be sure to have a credit card at all times. This is and will always be the only way to get a rental. Great group of people nation wide. From business to pleasure, it is always a wonderful experience.

Check in and pick up was only easy and nice part had multiple issues with rentel called numerous time no answer at store and customer service number was a joke you only get people that dont understand English after returning the truck got a survey manager called me talked with me offered me a partial refund for the issues told him okay never got the refund two weeks later or email try to call him back to find out whats going on and now they will not answer a phone suggest spending 30 to $70 more and go with a different company because they will not help you when you have problems and they do not do what they say theyre going to do

Horrendous service. Literally held for 45 minutes to get someone at the Omaha airport. No one ever answered. Ive never in my life been so frustrated with customer service. Quite literally the worst Ive ever experienced. I will never use Alamo. I cant even cancel my reservation because no one will answer. The. Worst.

A wonderful rental experience. Really enjoyed the Doge Ram Full Size truck for a work trip to our Farm in North Dakota. Enjoyed Sirius XM Radio of all the NFL games on Sunday in 8 hour drive back to Iowa. Great rental.

Upon our arrival to the rental desk to arrange for our reserved two autos, there was no attendant. Someone from Enterprise was able to do our paperwork. She was confused and had to ask us three times for our drivers licenses and credit cards. When we picked up the auto, there were two small cars which they call intermediate but seemed much smaller to us. One assigned car was a Nissan Sentra that had over 36,000 miles on it. Our second reserved car was a Hyundai Elantra and was a much nicer car than the Sentra. The Sentra had weird noises from the trunk, the driver needed to press hard on the brakes to make them work, and the features of this auto were just overall poor/cheap. Ive always had good experiences with Alamo and usually received an upgrade upon picking up the car. We were very disappointed. I will pay a little more to rent from Enterprise in the future.

I have usually had good things to say about alamo I have rented many cars from them and never had a issue until now. I Had a van rented for over a month at the Omaha airport. As soon as we went to pick up the van at 7 am they told us there was no vans available with no call in advance. They have no good communication with customers all they had to say was I would have to go rent on somewhere else. Its the day after Christmas and I pre payed in advance for me to have a minivan for a trip to California. They wouldnt even call anywhere else to find me a car nor return my money for the purchase of a different car. They said I would have to cancel my reservation and wait 5-10 days or more for my money back. So now Im out the $1000.00 for this van they dont have and have to come up with another $1000.00 to rent one some where else!!! Not to mention now Im 4 hours behind schedule so Im probably going to have the same problem with my hotel rooms Im going to be late for. Thanks for the great experience for future reference I will never book here again!! When someone pre pays for something and you dont have it you should pay for them to get one somewhere else!! Never pre pay and expect to have your car waiting with this company its a joke. Its not like I walked up the day I needed it and they didnt have it that I would understand but a month in advance is a joke on me leason learned!!They were not even the least bit sorry about it.

Got to airport to pick up rental at 7am on Friday. Check in was quick. Had the choice of 3 cars. All were clean and ready to go with a full tank. I was out within 15 minutes. Both gentlemen working were great were playful with my 10 year old son. Amazing experience wont go anywhere else.

Nothing like having to go to Nebraska from Florida for a funeral in January to truly appreciate rental car customer service at Eppley Field in Omaha! Walkway covered and heated to parking garage. AWD SUV was above budget but with an impending snowstorm safety wasn’t negotiable. We did the paperwork with the most cheerful person ever (Van?) and went through the door into the parking garage. 82 to 12 degrees was a shock. But the greeter already had the car warming up with an ice snow scraper on the backseat. He popped our luggage into the trunk and we were off. Returning the car was super easy. Signage was perfect and drop off was quick. Opted for them to fill up. Cost more but it saved us time and standing in the cold which after scraping ice off the windshield in the early morning dark put us over the top. Thank you Alamo!

Alamo is claiming I returned the car damaged. They also claim I drove 634 miles. I drove less than 250 miles. It appears they are trying to scam me for previous damage. I have always sung praised to Alamo about their service. That now stops.

We were able to change our original vehicle choice of a standard SUV to a Ford F150 for the same price. My husband is 65 and we always have to rent larger cars for him to be comfortable. The check out and check in procedure was smooth and quick.

They are the only place Ive ever returned a car to where the person checking your car in tells you their name and says they will be taking care of you.My bills have always been correct and the staff incredibly pleasant.

Very nice people. I reserved a compact but got a Nissan Frontier 4x4 as they were out of compacts. Came in very handy when driving down Interstate 80 in the snow and ice!! I even got a call from the local manager the day after I rented the truck to see if the experience was good. That was a first for me from any Car Rental company. Very good service! Ill be back...

It was my first visit to the newly opened Alamo. I was kind of little confused initially but agents over there helped me all the way. I booked a luxury car and I was given Audi A5. I liked the car but It had dust all over the interiors( Seats, dashboard, door handles etc). I had to clean it myself. Overall its an okay experience.

The rental counter rep was awesome. Polite, quick, and efficient. The car pick up rep wasnt as polite but wasnt rude or anything either. He seemed busy so I attributed it to that. Weve all had busy days. My biggest issue was the lack of cleaning done to the car before the turnover. There was an empty water bottle in the passenger side door. We also found out after day two that there was an emtpy tin of chewing tobacco tucked in the pocket behind the drivers seat, as well as some sort of medical cold pack. Pretty disgusting. I rented with Alamo because I had some credit card points, but I wont be renting from them again.

Never using them. They did not at any point tell me i needed a credit card. I got a ride for 40 miles to pick up a vehicle just to be told my debit card wouldnt work and there was NOTHING I could do. I had to get a ride 40 miles back and couldnt make it to help my friend. Complete trash.

Came to Omaha for a short trip to visit my daughter whos attending college there. Came to the Alamo booth and was greeted by 3 attendants, who were all very courteous. One of them I believe was a manager because he noticed we had 2 large suitcases and some boxes and offered a bigger and newer vehicle that would more than accommodate what we had. We originally had a medium SUV but welcomed the offer and we werent disappointed! The vehicle only had 800 miles on it so it was practically new! It was so nice of them to offer it to us. My daughter even commented how nice the people of Omaha are and when its time for college, she wants to go somewhere in Omaha!

Alamo at Omaha Eppley AirportIve rented vehicles from Alamo several times. This was the worse experience. First incident, the first van I was given didnt have a full tank of gas, hadnt been cleaned and had a repair tag on it. Since I picked the van up after midnight, due to flight delays, I didnt get a chance to fully examine it. Thankfully the manager on duty quickly replaced it the next day. Second incident, trying to return the vehicle. I had to get out and search for some assistance. The guy checking in cars said leave the keys. I had to request a receipt, none was offered to me. The only good about this trip, I wasnt required to return the van on a full tank.

Friendly and helpful staff. Checked 3 cars before finding 1 that didnt smell smoked in. Swapped out the car with no issues. Renters (smoking in the car) is a common problem with rental cars from any company at the Omaha Airport. Wish they could find a way to fix this.

I love Alamo..have been using them for over 3yrs now as we have an older vehicle and are unable to take it on a y long trips. This last time I rented..because I live in Ne and was renting in Ne Alamo now wanted a 200$ hold on my card. This was a big reason I didnt rent from many others. Well despite the excellent service..I will no longer be renting from Alamo. What a shame.

I was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency and pleasantness of the the Alamo staff plus the clean vehicles. They were on top of their game, educated customers about where they were headed with a smile on their face and assisted those with disabilities or small children.I ended up with a Ford Fusion, hybrid, first hybrid I have driven and there were several items I needed cleared up concerning the functionality of the car. The staff gave very clear direction and I was on the road. I was very impressed with the vehicle and when I returned it the check out was simple and easy permitting me to get a jump on TSA and getting my next flight. Good Nebraska Hospitality!

Rented for 4 days. Was able to choose a Toyota RAV4. I usually rent from larger locations with more choices, but the timing worked out well. Staff was great and the process was flawless. No issues at pick up or return.

Great Rental experience. Alamo remains my go to rental car company. There prices are great and I always enjoy the times I get an unexpected free upgrade! The check-in counter was downstairs at the airport near baggage claim, quick and easy. There is construction currently going on at the airport, so you will have to catch the shuttle to the rental cars themselves as they are located on a south lot. Once I arrived at the lot there was a booth to get the keys for the rental. Went very fast and smooth. Return was quick and easy at the same lot. You will take a shuttle back to the airport so be sure to allow a little extra time.

This time around we rented through Hotwire. In order to get their deal, you dont know which rental car company you are getting until you pre-pay. We found a deal and took it, learning then it was Alamo.I think it has been many years since I rented from them, and never while in Omaha. We rented a full-sized car. Since we needed to carry a wheelchair, we asked for one with a large trunk and were told to tell the folks at the booth when we pick it up. There is a shuttle to the cars. When we arrived, we were upgraded to a Nissan Pathfinder with the works. The only problem we had was it was labeled a non-smoking car and, after we drove in it for a while, we realized there was a strong smell of smoke. It was bearable but we were concerned they would charge us the smoking fee.Since Im not reviewing the car but Alamo, I wont say anything about the Pathfinder other than it was nice. When we returned the car, since we prepaid for it, we were charged for the full tank of gas we bought. And, since we mentioned the smoke smell, they discounted the total about 20%. Nice plus.Kudos to Alamo for standing behind what they sell.

We rented a van for a weekend trip to Oklahoma. Reservations were made ahead of time so the check-in and picking up of the vehicle was super easy. Return of the vehicle was even easier. I was originally going to rent from an off the airport Budget rent a car to avoid the outrageous airport taxes but unfortunately my flight was delayed 4 hours so the off the airport Budget would be closed. So I checked Costco Travel the night before and found a car at this place for slightly more then my original Budget, I was very surprised and was more then willing to pay a little extra for the last minute reservation.This place was pretty good. The only slight problem is a saw what appeared to be the start of a chip in the windshield. Almo gives you a card for your car inspection with holes in it. So if the crack was a certain size, which it wasn’t, it doesn’t need to be recorded. However, my thing is once cracks start especially in the cold, they just grow. I wanted to report the chip. The salesperson gave me a little push back and he didn’t want to record it. He finally gave in and went out in the cold and signed for it. So this is my biggest complaint, there shouldn’t have been pushback at all. This will not deter me from going back to this location but I just can’t give it 5 stars. Overall, a good experience and would recommend.

I would have given 5 stars had Alamo waived the extra day fee. Hurricane Harvey delayed our trip home by a day and it would have been good customer service. Other than that - we were very happy with Alamo as we have been on previous trips. One piece of advice for the company.... when you know you are going to have 7 folks arriving at the counter around the same time (this was in Nebraska), it would be good to have an extra person at the counter. There was only 1. Although there was a computer kiosk, there are so many steps involved that the Kiosk doesnt help move anything along. We saw 2 people give up on the kiosk and step into the line for the actual human help. We werent in a hurry but others obviously were and this was frustrating for them. Great personnel at return center in OKC. Loved our Ford f-150!

Terrible Experience! I rented a car online and selected my type of vehicle. When I went to pick up the car I was told from my choice online I could have (.... listed cars). I selected one and drove away. Come to find out that he charged me an additional 111.00 dollars for the car I chose. Well according to the front desk I could have any of the listed cars... Not told about the additional expenses. I called customer service as soon as I saw the additional charge. The customer service agent then said well the front desk should have told you that certain cars come with an ungrade fee. He apologized for the inconvenience and then told me that he would take care of the issue and I would not be charged. So I returned the vehicle and there was no additional charges. Now 8 months later I receive a letter saying that I have an outstanding balance of 111 dollars that needs to be paid and Ive been put on the no rent list. I called and explained the situation and was told that I should read my contract better, and if I dont pay it then it will go to collections I explained to her the situation in which I called back in October of 2016 and the guy said it was taken care of. Apparently that doesnt mean anything. So my advice to you is make sure you read your contract thoroughly before signing anything because they like to through in extra charges without you knowing. They LIE to you and say certain types of cars come with your selected plan. In fact, I wouldnt even rent from this company. Their customer service was rude and basically just kept saying theyre not at fault for anything. I can see why their company filed bankruptcy!

I am an Alamo Insider and I was very disappointed for the first time ever on how I was treated by Alamo in Omaha Nebraska.. I have used Alamo for over 10 years and I fly Non Rev standby and always used my debit card. I have never owned a credit card in my life...This labor day experience was completely and utterly showed no value to your loyal customers at all. I was told I was not allowed to rent a vehicle if I didnt have proof of an assigned seat for my return flight and that I could not use my debit card...I was treated as if I was a liar and that I never used Alamo before it was very disheartening to be told Ill let u rent just this one time and if it werent for the things I had to take care while I was on my trip I would have not took the rental...that one incident changes my whole entire view of Alamo and thats sad. But I will choose to not use them anymore if my value for over ten years renting almost 2 to 3 times a year means absolutely nothing to Alamo

When I booked my car reservation I made it very clear that my son is playing in the College World Series and I needed it to be flexible. I rented the car from Friday to Friday and was guaranteed that I would get two free days since I had the car for a week . I was reassured everything would be taken care of and that I would get two free days because that is their policy. I went to pick up the car in Lincoln Nebraska and the young man that was working was on his cell phone texting the whole time and barely looked at me. Again I told him depending on the games I may need the car longer. I said I want to confirm that I do get the free two days since I will have the car for a week. He assured me I would. He gave me the keys and that was it he did not walk me to the car nor go through the car with me . I had already been flying all night and didn’t want to deal with it. I only had an hour to make it from Lincoln to Omaha before the game started. The car smelled of smoke in the trunk kept opening while I was driving . Last night I had booked through Orbitz originally and I called them to tell them that I definitely needed the car for a few more days and to please apply the two free days I was promised . The customer service rep had told me that because I did not voice that at the time of arrival that it would not apply and that it would be another almost $400 for just a few more days . I again said I went through all of this and they reassured me that it would be no problem to modify my reservation because they understood that my son was in the College World Series. Today I called the rental car directly and he said that because I did not say at the beginning I wanted to apply the free days that I would not be granted that offer. That is ridiculous! I know a lot of people and I will make sure nobody rents from this company ! I cannot believe that they are not willing to back up their word. I will never rent a car through Alamo and tell my friends the same! Shame on you! Thanks for making what should be the best time of our lives has turned into a nightmare due to this company. Alamo was so rude!

The rental cars are no longer on site at the airport due to construction, you must take a shuttle, which is annoying. However, the customer service was great and the shuttles did run frequently to reduce wait time. I was surprised that the cars were not bluetooth enabled. I would have given 5 stars except for that. But the customer service was superlative.

Great staff. Excellent car, but it wasnt the size I requested. At first the staff worked hard to upgrade me, never mentioning that the size requested had sold out. Options were smaller or larger, so I paid more for the larger vehicle, and it was a nice choice.

Good experience. Factor in a short drive from the airport to the rental car area. Service was very good on the shuttle and at the rental car agency. Car was very good. The only minor negative was a rattle that seemed to come from the passenger side door on the Ford Fusion I had.

Picking up my car was relatively quick and easy and the customer service representative was very friendly. I was given an SUV which was an upgrade over the mid-size car I had reserved but when I got to my vehicle it was dirty and did not have a full tank of gas. The interior was clean and the rest of the rental went well.

When I have a choice in rental cars, I personally always choose Alamo. When I rent through a site or direct, they are courteous ,quick to check in/out and always take care of me with an upgrade if I experienced any issues. Ive rented from several other agencies in the past and nobody seems to beat their price or customer service, even the so-called big boys (Hertz ,Avis)

This was a smooth and pleasant rental. The customer service was quick and easy. The only small thing was that someone had been smoking in the car before I got it. I could briefly smell the stale smoke when first turned on the AC, and the interior windshield had smoke film on it.

The trip from heck...traveling to Omaha for a wedding and flight delays to and from Omaha. We touched down at 1:15am, 1 hr and 15min after the rental car place closes. Lloyd, the man working there, knew we were coming as I called in advance to inform that we would be delayed and said he would be there until 1am anyway. 1:30, he was still waiting for us and others. Great support and service from him.

My experience with this Alamo location has always been positive, over multiple trips into Omaha. Available fleet is newer than some locations, associates are typical Midwesterners, friendly and helpful. Since there are several gas stations just past the airport, I always choose to fill it up myself, only takes a few minutes to zip over to top off and return the car.

The Omaha Alamo/National car rental is not suitable for people requiring handicap access.I was concerned that they had no shuttle to pick up the car. I was repeatedly assured both on the phone making reservations at at the airport kiosk that is not a problem because the car is just across streetTHIS WAS A TOTAL AND REPEATED LIE! .The actual distance is 200 to 300 YARDS, AKA two to three times the length of a football field. You cross the street and then must walk the entire width of the of the main airport parking structure. You then jog a couple of hundred feet to the right and then left into a totally different parking structure where the car is actually located.This was a long and painful trip for me.In addition, I was reassured at the airport kiosk that I had the full sized sedan that I ordered for my comfort ready for pickup. NOT TRUE. After trudging a couple of hundred yards I was told that they did not have any more full size cars and offered me a free upgrade to an SUV. I had no choice. It was difficult and painful each time I had to get in it and out. In addition the the car had no cigar lighter/power plug for my navigator. The lady was very nice and offered to point it out to me and found did not have one. She had another SUV delivered.The counter at the airport had no one present when I arrived. After waiting several minutes with another Alamo customer I ask the attendant at the National car rental counter who share the same kiosk. He said that he handled Alamo also. He also supported the myth that it was only across the street no problem for handicapped.If you are a handicapd such as you can not walk two or three hundred yards with your luggage, stay away from both Alamo and National rental car. Actually, with the airport set up that way it is, I dont see that any car rental company at Omaha Airport could possibly be in any way handicapped accessible.

Alamo was great in Omaha! The flight came in an hour late -- at 11:58PMIt says Alamo and others close a 12:00AM They waited for the last arrival and were great with everyone!Very fast and easy - friendly people. We did pre-book the car

I had a great experience with Alamo. It was quick and easy, staff were all very nice. They had several mid sizes so they gave me the option of choosing which one Id like. I chose the Elantra, it was wonderful. I was the only one who was driving or riding in it so I didnt need mouthing big. Gas mileage was amazing and it drove smooth! Especially for the price you really cant beat it.I would definitely recommend Alamo and the Elantra.

We prepaid our rental for 4 days. Some time later we decided to stay for a 5th day and changed our flight and hotel plans. Alamo headquarters wanted $200 more for one day and told us to go to the Eppley Field counter when we arrive and the desk agent would be able to give us a better deal when we picked up the car. The better deal was over $300 more for one more day. The desk agent was rather curt and didnt acknowledge any other options, even those we suggested, so we decided to return the car on the original contract date and hung out around Omaha on our extra day (not what we planned).Other than that, the car was a good deal (for 4 days) and ran fine.

I reserved a full-size car, but they didnt have any. So, without asking, they upgraded me. Nice touch. Then, when I dropped the car off, the final price was less than what had been quoted. Life is good.

I had a problem with the car that I originally rented and had to switch out the car at my first stop in Lincoln and was charged the original amount even though it was a much more expensive car. When I returned the vehicle, to Eppley Airport, the agent gave me and additional $30 off and apologized for the inconvenience. They were so kind, did not rush me about getting all of the times out of the vehicle and wondered if I had any additional problems. It was a great experience.

I would never give Alamo my business. I made a reservation online, paid in full, and they could no longer fulfill my reservation. Instead of being helpful or offering an ounce of support to fix the error on the website, they essentially told me sucks to suck. They told me that I must now must find a new way to move across the country and they dont have my car. The workers were rude and disrespectful. They offered no solutions even though it was a problem with the company website. I even spoke to cooperate and they told me the same thing. Alamo is the rudest and most disrespectful rental company.

I rented a car from Alamo through Hotwire last week. Somehow the reservation had the incorrect pickup time on my reservation. It could have been a disaster for my family vacation. The folks at Alamo were very accommodating and overall awesome! I cannot say how appreciative I am for their great service and flexibility. Almo was affordable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. When we got there we had already checked in online, so we got to go straight out to the lot and pick up the vehicle. Staff greeted us at the check-in counter and outside in the lot. They even upgraded us from full-size car to suv for no additional charge!! I would definitely rent from Alamo again.

I had requested a Toyota RAV4 on my reservation. I was told at the airport lot that they just rented the last one. They gave me a Mitsubishi Eclipse something. Brand new car with 1,000 miles on it. By far the ugliest car I have ever driven. On the way to Lincoln, NB, I could barely keep the car within the lane. I though the car has stiring problem. It was a cold and windy night. Next day I figured the car is ok, the wind was the issue. The car was too lightweight for the light wind of the night.I thought of the car as hatchback instead of small SUV. the rear window is cut in half with a bar across that obstruct the rearview. Barely has enough horsepower to move in the flat Nebraska highway. This was a dangerous car for Nebraska. May be fine for some downtown Chicago traffics. I did not feel safe in the car. Alamo staff were fine and pleasant and have no complain there. The car was the issue. I had never heard of the model car I was given and had assumed Mitsubishi will be a safe car. I was wrong.Thank you,F.M.
