Essnails has quickly become my go to spot for a manicure. Ive tried a lot of other places in town, but the amazing team at Essnails cant be matched! Perfect manicure, fun atmosphere and relaxing experience every time!

You guys should take “Walk In’s Welcome” off of your windows, because it always seems as if they are not welcome. They only seem to care about their regular clients, and are quite rude and stand off-ish to people who are not regulars. You will definitely lose money with such customer service, as the quality is not the best either.**if you’re schedule is always fully booked, then walk ins are actually not welcome?

Very wonderful service! I think the person that did my nails was named Ngoe. My nails look so much better then they did before I came in! 10/10 I will %100 be coming back if I need my nails done again.

Forever my favorite nail salon! Every one of their employees does a fantastic job, and the environment is so fun and easy going. It sounds like a bunch of friends hanging out. Today my appointment was with April for the first time and Im glad I had the chance to be her client. She was so detailed and took her time to make sure every nail was perfect. Super happy with my experience, as always :)

Been going for years and there are two or three techs I love but the owner is never friendly. Mostly it doesn’t bother me since I don’t deal directly with her till today when she was down right rude to me and my daughter. Will not go return.

This has always been my go to nail salon, but the past many times Ive called to book appointments or gone in for a service, the lady who works the desk is incredibly rude. The last straw was when I took my daughter here to get her nails done for her birthday and the technician snapped at her. We will not be back.

Essnails is THE BEST nail salon in town! I have tried many others, even out of town places back when I traveled often, and nothing compares. It is such a friendly, fun, upbeat environment, and they have high standards for doing quality work. I have been going there for 5+ years and have never been disappointed. Kim always greets me by name even though I’m only in there about once a month. It makes me feel like they value me and appreciate my business. Love this place and can’t recommend it enough!

Went here after my regular tech at another salon cut back her hours. It’s been over a year since I went to this salon and STILL fighting nail fungus that I really feel I got here. Have had mani/pedis done for YEARS at my old salon with NO ISSUES.I no longer live in KS, but wanted to share my experience since it has been a year of fighting to clear up this fungal mess.

My tech went overboard to get me on track to fight the fungus and did a wonderful job on the poor sick toe nails. I scheduled another app on 5 weeks.

I just had my first pedicure appointment here and I was so pleased! I usually go up north but wanted to stay closer to home this time so I booked last night based on great reviews and got in this morning!They got me in right at my appointment time (even though they were busy!) and Mia was so sweet! She had the kindest vibe about her and her work was awesome! Definitely will be back! Thanks, Mia, for starting my day off with such great service!

Missy is AWESOME and such a sweet heart! I refuse to go anywhere else. My manis and pedis always turn out great and I have gotten exactly what I want every time. Ive taken my mom there too and she had Chue who is so funny and also did a solid job on her nails. HIGHLY recommend!

I called in and scheduled a nail appointment three weeks in advance for my wedding. Called Essnails day before my appointment to confirm it and they proceeded to let me know that nobody ever wrote my name down for an appointment. They now have no openings around the time I need. It was all very unprofessional and organization needs big improvement. Second time it’s happened. Very disappointed.

I go here everyonce in a while and have always had amazing work done. No matter what technician i’ve had they’ve always been as kind as can be and done a great job.

I love this place, after going to Posh Nails and getting horrible service, I decided that I needed to find a new salon. I was very happy with the service and the technicians are very welcoming. Great place to get a manicure or pedicure. You won’t regret it. I’m so happy I found this place.

I had ANOTHER AWESOME EXPERIENCE at Essnails today. Mia is the bomb! As well as the other ladies and gentlemen that work there. I always ask Mia to do a design on my big toe nail. She Googles the design and reproduces it, with her own twist! I highly recommend Essnails!

Only deducted a star because of pricing. $25 for a basic pedi, and crazy upcharge for anything else. Otherwise, clean facility and friendly staff. They gave a pretty good pedi, but poor leg massage.

I love getting my nails done here. I love that I can make my appointments online (I definitely suggest taking advantage of using the online booking since they are crazy busy, which is a testament to how good they are). They are always accommodating if I am running late or early. Jimmy does amazing work and he and Kim always greet me by name when I walk in and both say goodbye when I leave. Those small gestures make all the difference and make me feel like a valued client, keep up the good work. ❤

Omg my nails look amazing! The only reason it’s not a 5 star is because the lady was man handling my hands we she was seeing if the acrylics where the same length. But I’m the end they turned out amazing! I love them!😍👌💅

I love Essnails. All of the techs are nice and skilled! They offer a variety of options for manicures and pedicures. They have so many different color options in regular polish and gel. I go for pedicures and they are wonderful. Massaging chairs and excellent service makes this places my favorite!

How do you scheduled appointment have been there a couple times prior for a pedicure. Went today my pedicure was less than 30 minutes paid $5 extra for the calluses . She did not cut my toenails right and she did not paint my toenails right

Visited for the first time today and was extremely happy with the service as well as the clean facility. Both my and my sisters nail techs were very friendly and fun. We got the dip powder nails and right upon checking in they informed us of their unique technique which uses dip powder as a base and gel for the top color. It was nice to know ahead of time that they do it differently than some places, and I am beyond pleased with the results. They also let us know exactly how much it would cost before we added any additional services. Thank you for a great experience!

This review breaks my heart to write. I love all the stylists and have gone to this salon for over 5 years, recommended it to friends and family, and enjoyed it as my one splurge. However, the manager is another story. She is mean and vindictive and seems to take pleasure making her devoted clients cry. I had one not perfect manicure and made the mistake of letting her know. Instead of making my next trip better, to keep a repeat customer, she decided to make it miserable. The next time I came in they had no more appointments for the day (I later realized she meant no more for me). The next time i went with my mom, so she graciously let us stay but had 3 other walkins go before us, making us wait 45min. She then kept telling the lady helping me that she did not have time to give me the pedicure I requested and harassing her about helping me. Finally, when I tried calling ahead for an appointment, she maliciously deleted me from the schedule and when I showed up she humiliated me in front of the whole salon by saying that all the stylists were afraid to work on me and refused to see me. We have no services for you here. Everyone else at this salon has been great, including her husband who took the time to help me calm down after his wife berated me and called me a liar. If you come here be careful not to get on her bad side because she is the bad apple that spoils the whole experience.

I have gone so many places in the past. Found Ess Nails 5 years and have never gone anywhere since! I walk in all the time and trust anyone there to do a great job! Kim and her staff are the best!

Jimmy does a beautiful job with my fingernails. He is so meticulous! As a Mom, I feel guilty spending money on myself. By the time Jimmy finishes, the guilt subsides because I am overcome with the beauty of my nails! I have been going here for a year and a half now and have no reason to change!!

Love it! Salon is beautiful and perfectly clean & tidy. The entire staff is friendly and helpful as well as very experienced in their work & current trends. **Edit to add: on the recommendation of the nail tech, I chose the dip powder. I get my nails done long with an added tip, which I informed them of prior to the dip powder. My nails started breaking and cracking 3 days later. I ended up having to clip them all down and slowly removing them myself. The dip powder does not support a longer length. Had I known that, I would have gone with acrylic as I typically would. I feel like they pushed the dip powder because it is a higher priced service, instead of making a recommendation based on the length and style I wear my nails.

I have been coming to Ess Nails for over 2 years now and won’t go anywhere else. I always make an appointment with Kim even though I would trust any of the girls there. They get to know their customers very well and know them by name. I have yet to have a bad experience. My nails are always beautiful and meticulously done. Before Kim moves to the next step in her service she asks if i’m satisfied so I have no opportunities to be disappointed. If I ask for an additional service they let me know ahead of time if it will be an additional charge. I don’t mind paying extra for the extra work especially when it’s done correctly. I have watched Kim handle difficult customers with grace and kindness even when the person didn’t deserve it. She expects her employees to show class and put forth their best work. It is by far the cleanest salon I’ve been to in the KC area, and they are constantly upgrading their stations with the most up-to-date tools. My mom convinced me to come here and Mom knows best. Thanks for all the great experiences!

My FAVORITE nail salon! The staff is very helpful and just the right amount of talkative. Theyre personal and relatable and engage in good conversation if youre looking for that but also can tell when you just need to sit in silence. I have always been very happy with my nails!

This place is my go to! Whether I am getting my nails done or my eyebrows waxed, everything exceeds my standards. Clean environment, friendly people, and usually not a long wait time for a walk-in. I do, however, recommend making an appointment so they can block out enough time to not have to rush.

Went here for the first time today. I loved the service and my nails!! I normally go to Bella Nails, but at Essnails, I didnt feel like they were trying to rush me out the door. I will definitely go back!

I came in today to get French tips for the first time. I always come here for a manicure because I love the service and quality. This time, my nails were not the best quality. The technician did not care about my nails whatsoever. She didn’t even clip them. She rushed and filed my skin off which was incredibly painful. Not to mention, they are extremely crooked. I paid $35 for crooked nails. Very dissapointing.

Ive had two pedicures from here and while I have no problem with the service or staff, the woman who owns it is rude and mean. They screwed up my fiancees nails and did what any business should have and didnt charge for the service. Then the next two times she visited, rather than just let it go, the owner/manager decided to be rude and passive aggressive hoping my fiancee would get the point. (Both visits she paid for and said the owner was acting strange but decided not to let it get to her.) It wasnt until after taking her money two more times they decide to inform her she had been banned. She got upset when they cut her nails too short and some how it is her fault. If a hair stylist ran a buzz cut down the middle of someones head and was then GRACIOUS enough not to charge for it but decided to ban that customer for being upset, theyd never see another customer.TLDR: they screwed up and banned my extremely nice and loving fiancee for it.

My pedicures are always nice but my manicure lasts a day or 2 before chipping. I can do that at home myself

This time, my nails were not the best quality. The technician did not care about my nails whatsoever. She changed the shape by self. She rushed and didn’t even check the size and shape.some are short and some are long Very dissapointing.

I had gel nails done just over three weeks ago at Essnails. They are still perfect. I cant believe that they survived Thanksgiving! THREE WEEKS! The longest I have ever had gel nail polish last prior to this was 1.5 weeks. This was the first time I had been to Essnails for my fingernails. I am blown away. Still no chips or imperfections. Not only that, but I always have wonderful interactions with the staff when I go for pedicures. I love this place.

I have never been a person who got a pedicure on a regular basis but ess nails changed that. they have ALWAYS been professional, clean, an prompt with their services. i have never felt pressured to get any other service then what i want. i normally only get a pedi an they are just fine with that. i also love all the girls as well. they have always made me feel at home. I have been going to ess for over a year now and will continue to for life. they are the best! 😍
