No opportunity here. Unprofessional with poor communication. No value of others time or consideration to coordination. This business profits by selling hope of being discovered. They offer services which they charge for with little to no real opportunity associated other than to reduce the money in your pocket.

Luckily we found out they were a scam before we gave them a dime. A LEGITIMATE AGENCY WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO PAY FOR CLASSES OR PICTURES. EVER. Wanted to target my boyfriend because he mentioned he came from a broken home and he wanted to turn his life around and inspire others. Makes me sick. He was texting with Darcy and asked about the legitimacy before he sent money for his own peace of mind and she said “just send it. If we weren’t legit we wouldn’t be successful for 40 years nationwide”. My boyfriend was extremely excited at a wonderful opportunity just to be torn down. Makes us nervous and sad for all the young children and their families who will be wasting $2500.

Personally I do not recommend this as I got sick with pneumonia a few days before graduation and had to redo the entire course again instead of receiving an agent which by the way they do not give you one if you are sick that day and have to pay extra if you want one.

The teachers are so nice the teachers are awesome. Unfortunately Im stuck at home due to covid but the teachers are amazing they are understanding and its just amazing what do. they all deserve a raise.

Terrible. I had someone reach out to me asking me to audition for them. She told me that she would text me all the information an hour before the audition. The first time, I reached out two days before to confirm the audition, however, the day of, I heard nothing from her. I reached out the next day asking, and instead of owning up to not communicating with me, she just told me that I missed the audition. So, me wanting to be the bigger person, I asked her if I could audition another time, in which she told me that it would that night. Again, no information was sent to me, and when I asked her about it, she just told me that she sent me all the information and it was my bad for not attending. I highly do NOT recommend this agency. Everybody, if you want to sign up for an agency or classes to help with auditioning and modeling, choose a company that actually communicates with you. Im very disappointed.

I recommend you do A LOT of research before you start a class like this. Do we know if John Casablancas is a misinterpertation or scam? No. Is it sketchy? Yes. They make many promises however they under deliver frequently. There are good, legit classes out there. Just be careful, guys. Keep in mind this is just my insight.

I auditioned in Milwaukee , Wisconsin and it was an unforgettable experience. The staff was very repsectuctful, and polite.

So far its been so fun! Not only does it give you a look into the modeling and acting world but you also meet new people and make friends. Ive made a few friends so far and theyre all so nice and down to earth. They make you feel very included. They are all so talented in one way or another. The television/print program has taught me some important life skills and especially how to own a runway. I love modeling so its been super fun and I cant wait to graduate and see where my career goes!

I have always had an interest in modeling, but i never thought it would be anything more than that. After hearing about John Casablanca, i knew i had to apply. These past 19 weeks have been wonderful. Ive learned so much since i first started, and the people here are truly gifted and amazing! Enrolling in JC (John Casablancas) was one of the best decisions I have made in my acting/modeling career. It made me more comfortable with stage presence. You going to regret after signing contract with them and people are right , they are scammer.- Modeling and talent agencies get work for experienced models and actors. Some agents require that you sign up exclusively with them, while others allow you to also register with other agencies in town. Either way, legitimate agencies don’t charge you an up-front fee to serve as your agent. They get paid when you get paid .- They may say your deposit is totally refundable. Its more likely that your deposit would be refundable only if you meet very strict refund conditions. Or, you might be told that talent experts will evaluate your chances at success in the field, accept only a few people into the program, and give refunds to anyone not selected. What they dont tell you is that the program takes virtually everyone_ To break into the business, you need professional photos. But you should be able to choose your own photographer. An agency that requires you to use their photographers likely is a scam.

I really like being at John Casablancas. Ive meet some really amazing people and made some friends.I have also learned alot during the time Ive spent here.

My time here has been amazing. I learned so much since Ive been here. The jobs they had me do at Francescas was awesome. I has so much fun. I think it really helped me on my social skills. It is an amazing program for all ranges of people regardless of your interest in the modeling and acting industry. Its a great way to pull you from your comfort zone and really let your inner beauty shine! Excellent investment! And, while attending the program they have sent me on several jobs at the malls and different clothing stores which will look amazing on my modeling resume (not to mention the jobs are a blast!) And, since I am Native it gives me the opportunity to represent Native Americans!

Before John Casablancas I had no clue about modeling, acting and doing commercials. The JC group is so fun, helpful and super cool! They teach you everything about yourself. They help you identify what your dreams are and help you through it.

John Casablancas in OKC is amazing and a helpful place for me. I have learned so much in the weeks that I have been here from proper makeup techniques, to how a professional photo shoot works, to how properly memorize. The teachers/staff are also great and obviously know what they are doing.

I have been able to really get hands on experience in the acting and modeling world since I have been a part of the agency. I have truly enjoyed the staff and learning about acting in TV commercials, film, and runway. I have also been able to get several jobs as a promotional model and further improve my confidence.

I have gotten more confident to perform in front of others. I have stepped out of my comfort zone and have benefited from it.

JC has helped clarify a lot of personal decisions no one could make for me. Ive never felt like Ive belonged before but at JC I feel at home. The environment is so positive its addictive. They really do bring out the best in you. If youre looking to expand your talent this is the place!

It was great at first. I didnt get my first job until a while after I finished though. Then once my job was over, the agency kept my money & never paid me. After that, every time I tried to apply for another modeling job I was rejected.

Since starting JC Brenden has become more confident in himself. He is able to express himself better both in a personal and professional manner. During his training, he got to work a movie premier which allowed him to practice and be more confident in his speaking abilities with others. He was able to share his experience and passion of JC with other potential clients. This has been an overall great experience so far. I cant wait to see what the future holds for him.

Ive really been enjoying it here so far in OKC! Everyone is very nice and open about everything. Ive came out of my shell a lot and Im getting better at improv! I also really like the catwalk!

I have had a great time and some very good classes. The teachers dont apply to much pressure and you learn at your own pace. I have learned quite a bit.

I had a great experience here in Oklahoma City. I learned a lot of things about this industry that I didnt know like how to improvize, how to act in front of the camera and a lot of things. Ive had a great experience.

It was very scary in the beginning but once you get to know your class it gets easier. The staff was nice, very friendly and they like to have fun and get you on the right track!

It helped me out with getting better in front of people and getting to know myself better. I think this place is really good. Its a lot of fun and you get to know a lot more people. It helped me with my speech and reading a lot.

My daughter learned nothing extra . We were looking forward to see more in acting modeling but nothing that much was going on .It cost $2450.00 and I had to finance it so it cost me $2600.00 and they cut classes short , they don’t make up any missing classes.Overall , if money is not the object go head do it but if you want to learn stop and think .

How does it feel taking peoples money just because you see were desperate so you take advantage. Your agency is a scam and your fine with that. Your not good at what your trying to do. Because people would be out doing something now. If inspiring actors or models are reading this i know it cost but get IMDB it will give you acts managers and acting coaches dont give up.

Horrible place, rip.offs, and love how every review states they have no record of your name. This is part of the scam...take your money, pretend you dont exist, well good thing is, I kept all our paperwork, I HAVE PROOF! and cancelling within 12hrs of signing, and still wont let me cancel and no refund. Im calling an attorney, my uncle will get my money and much more when I contact all the others you ripped off. Pathetic to take minty and crush dreams of kids...

We paid the 350.00 deposit. Than u have. 30 days to come up with $1250.00 after that they add extra fees. We was 3 days over and we ONLY GOT 95.00 back after paying the full $1250.00. They said we would get the deposit back once we paid full. NOPE we sure did not.

I loved going here I love the way the people were I loved learning everything I had so much fun it helps me work on myself a lot I ended up graduating and signing the contract to this day they never found me any work and Ive been really wanting to pursue a modeling career ever since I went to John Casablancas now Im older I have tattoos and piercings but I want to be an alternative tattoo model and I would love it if John Casablancas could be my agency and help me but they havent even tried to find me any work I will admit my portfolio is out of date and that is because I never had any work to add to it it makes me sad because I really wanted to be a model Here I am 21 years old and Im working my life away and whenever I was 12 I had the dream and the drive to be someone and now Im slowly losing it help me John casablancas! I went to this school for 6 months only to be ripped off. While I was there I was lied to saying that I would be helped to find work with this school. They never did. And to make things worst is that other students while I was going there week after week were being offered jobs but not me and they knew I needed the money. I expressed many times to them that I didnt have a lot of money and I really needed a job. So as I was going to there school I was still looking for work nothing if anything I was denied work everytime i used there name on an application. One time they even tried to hold me out of class for unpaid dues. So I graduated and gave them another chance through the agency, well that was a mistake the agency is supposed to be different than the school but no they are connected because I didnt pay my payments they wont find me work and blocked me for finding work through them. And I told them just before this got this far my dad had a heart attack right at the time of Graduation I cant pay you right now. They didnt here that plus I had to hunt down my photos from the photographer how professional is that and after I paid for them.Anyway I liked some of the teachers there but the rest are liers and to anyone who reads this never go to them for anything not even directions plus they got black listed and didnt tell us because they were unfair and unprofessional.

I like John Casablancas because how I get to act and meet new people and I love the classes cause I get to do more acting and understand the whole thing. I love doing the runway! The runway is my favorite.

I strongly urge you to take courses elsewhere. This is 100% a money scam. The majority of the 5 star ratings on here are made up. If a company has this many negitive reviews, there are mutliple red flags. More than likley a owner will comment on this saying that they have no records of my name on their file this is a lie as well. Terrible agents, terrible instructors, and terrible motives. Im sure the CEO would be embarrassed and depressed if he saw what his company has done and continues to do. Never met someone that ever had ANYTHING good to say about this company.

I was told that I didn’t have “the right features” for this career path. It was extremely damaging to my then-twelve-year-old self. I admit I’m not the best looking, but Jesus. These people do NOT help with self esteem like they had claimed.

JC has helped me a lot with coming out of my shell and it has helped to network with other rising stars every time I come back and I learn more. I am extremely happy I chose to come here!
