BUYER BEWARE! Do not waste your money here! These amateurs have no idea what they are doing. I took it to another company and received professional forensic work.Your company, Alias forensics, was paid $4200 to provide a service to me. Per our agreement, your company agreed to examine a Mac computer and recover files to include bank accounts, pornography, video/audio and other topics. I was informed that there was not pornography nor video/audio contained within the computer. Due to serious concerns about the comprehensiveness of the Alias Forensic examination, the images extracted from said computer by Alias were taken to a different forensic examiner, who charged an additional fee. Audio/video and pornography were extracted by the new examiner. But, as stated above, these items were said not to exist per Alias Forensics report.The incompleteness of the initial examination has caused much anguish, money, time, and additionally, delay of the completeness of an ongoing investigation.Again : BUYER BEWARE! Do not waste your money here!Your excuses and explanation of only searching for the exact words/ phrases that I asked for, show just how inexperienced and unprofessional you truly are. I came to you looking for a professional to run forensic tests and uncover any suspicious and/or illegal activity on the device. Per your request, I gave basic phrases and topics that I was concerned about. A couple of the words that I asked for, pornography and audio/video, were not located by your examiner, but were subsequently found by a different examiner. The pornography was found under the term “strawberry”. Now, let’s put this into perspective, if you were to take your car to an automotive shop with a list the symptoms/problems that the car was having, you would expect the mechanic to use his professional knowledge/experience to run proper diagnostics and to diagnose accurately why that the vehicle was running poorly. Right? You clearly do not have the knowledge, technology, or modern training to perform at a professional level. If you did, you would have uncovered the pornography under whatever term it was hidden. The other forensics examiner was given the exact same words/ phrases, but the difference is, they were able to uncover all of the activities which were of concern, just as I had suspected. And, they did it for a quarter of the price!A phrase in reference to this instance recently made by an attorney: “false representation of the quality of a service, false or misleading statements regarding the price of a service, and deceptive trade practices.”
