I went in to Studcuts today (Tues 23 March 2021) and got one of the best haircuts I have had EVER. My barbers name was Alma. She was very professional, polite and friendly. When leaving honestly felt like I have know her my entire life. I know there are a lot of great barbers at this place but this woman has locked in my future business for a long time. Gone in there a few times to get my sons hair cut. Being 1 of what seems like 100s of barber shops near a military base, they know how to cut hair that isnt a low,med or high & tight. From what i have heard they are good at military cuts too, and judging from the lines on Sat/Sun they are.

Brittany has been cutting my hair for the last 20 years she is absolutely the best she also cuts my childrens hair and many of my friends. Make sure you asked for Brittany he is absolutely the best.

I switched from Oceanside Fades to this place. After my barber/hairstylist threw me to the curb. I decided to venture away from that place. I just want to say Stud Cuts. Gets you in and out quick! Prices are decent. And the workers are always friendly. They are making sure they are following proper guidelines. Kudos to Flo , Jamie and Hee. Especially Flo. He is the man! He can never do my hair wrong!

It was a really good experience!! The wait time was very minimal for the quality provided. I waited maybe 4 minutes and got great service. All people involved were really friendly. The price was really cheap. My barber, I believe her name was jessie, provided great friendly service it wasnt awkward or anything and it didnt take too long but she was able to look at a picture and completely change my hair the way I wanted it. Great service overall and I highly recommend jessie. She has purple hair. Great service, Id go back in a heartbeat if I needed it.

Been coming her for over 13 years now and never had a bad cut. It was tough when they were shutdown for coronavirus for a few months, fortunately they re back open and as good as ever. Ive had my hair cut by pretty much every barber there at one time or another and theyre all great! I love Tuesdays, as theyre not too busy and my barber this week was Hee. Not only does she do a great job, but shes got a great personality and is a lot of fun to chat with while she cuts my hair. Thanks Hee, see ya soon!!

First and foremost safety COVID19 violation galore. The Asian lady with the straight neck length hair was not wearing her mask correctly. The mask is supposed to hold over the nose not just the mouth. Gotta report that. 2. She charged me $20 dollars for a 5 dollar machine hair cut. The hair looks horrible now. During my visit there I never saw anyone there disinfect any of the equipment nor the chairs. They were very busy turning over a new cut in a matter of minutes one after the other with great urgency. I now fear for my health. I felt comfortable going there because I read online that they are covid19 compliant only to see the opposite. They are only covid19 at the outdoor check-in booth. Only putting up a front. The partitions inside are almost ok but wont isolate anyone from exposure. This place just happens to be way too busy and too many people in one small room at the same time. I couldnt wait to get out of there. I didnt even argue with the lady because of the horrible hair cut. I was fearing for my health. See the images that is not a $20 cut.In response to the owners response. Written down it all sounds good but what is being actually done and practiced is a different story. When I went in no one invited me to take ant hand sanitizer they never instructed me to go out the back. Hence, I left the same way I came in through the front. I was there and the whole while not once in between customers did I see your stylists disinfect their equipment or chairs. Then the lady she wasnt even wearing the facemask appropriately with her nose exposed only the mask covering her mouth but not the nose.

They always do an awesome job and I get exactly what I want and ask for.

It’s always packed but the hours on Sunday saved me.

Best Barbershop in and anywhere near Oceanside. The ladies are friendly and actually know how to properly fade with a straight edge razor. Additionally, they have the most convenient hours, with staying open until (11pm or 2300) on Sundays.

Always good haircuts at a fair price. When in doubt come to stud cuts. Even on busy days (usually Sundays) they are very fast and good service. Most of the barbers have been cutting here for a while now and are highly experienced. They do military cuts and do family, children, regular and ladies cuts just as well. They do include a free wash with every cut. If they are nice to you, be nice to them!

Normally I love this place and would recommend them to anyone but my last haircut was infuriating. I asked for a 2 with the grain and a temple fade, ended up with a high and tight variation, with my hair cut against the grain so it’s patchy. Truly upset about my last haircut with this business.

I drive to this place every two weeks from Hillcrest San Diego. If your looking for the best service with a clean haircut this is the place to go. I always get my sides straight razored so they are short and some of the barbers will even trim your eyebrows. Ive had multiple barbers but tend to stick to one, even though Ive had great experiences with all of them. I used to get my haircut here 14 years ago when I was in the Marine Corp but when I decided to go short again I had to come back and its totally worth the 40 mile trip every two to three weeks, not to mention its really affordable for the quality of haircut you recieve.

Had my hair cut here 3 times now. Good each time but had a 5 star cut tonight. Docked 1 star because of the cluster that is waiting in line. They dont call your number if you are waiting outside and you can miss you spot pretty quickly. Place is busy enough that they could have an employee directing folks but maybe the prices wouldnt be so cheap then. Either way, its a solid place to get your hair cut.

If youre looking for something fancy, probably look elsewhere. If youre looking for a solid mens haircut for a great price, look here. Their main clientele is Navy / Marines, but they do regular haircuts too, and they may do womens haircuts, although I have never seen a lady getting her hair cut in there. It can get very busy at certain times, but there are plenty of people cutting hair, so the line keeps moving. Free shampoo after your haircut. Also cash only, but there is a generic ATM in the front. Street parking gets busy on weekends, especially Sundays with the church next door.

New to the area ?So I was a little skeptical of the shop simply because of the over the top name but the reviews online convinced me to see what the hype was about.At first glance it looks a bit dull outside but once the doors opened a completely packed space with a ton of energy and movement almost seemed like a staged movie scene.To the left and right chairs filled with customers, down the middle was awaiting customers, a warm greeting by the staff as I walked in and a quick clean cut I was ready to go !Absolutely a great experience and to top it off every cut you receive a free shampoo wash n rinse afterwards as well as an area with a ton of options to restyle your hair there after all courtesy of Stud Cuts !

There are a lot of barber shops in a really short distance, so make sure youre going to the right one. Hee was more interested in finding the most amount of cuts in then actually doing her best work. Luckily it isnt the worst haircut ive ever gotten so thats why give it a 3

Great little place! One thing a lot of people take for granted is the comfort of the waiting area. This place has amazing comfortable couches to sit in while you wait. Staff was awesome and helpful. First time going here, and it will be where I get my haircut from now on.

Great job on my boys hair cuts. Prices are good too. The only thing I had a problem with was the number system wasnt going so one barber didnt bother to ask if one of my sons was getting his hair cut and skipped us. I was made a comment about being invisible.

Very busy place , but never had to wait more than 10 minutes . Had my hair cut there at least 10 times . A couple of the staff do not like to listen , and get an attitude when you tell them how you want your cut . Most of them are great though .

This place is one of the best barber shops in Oceanside. They are skilled barbers and give a free shampoo at the end. Regular mens cut is $15. Straight razor fade is by request but no extra charge. Cash only but they have ATMs.

Usually pretty good for military fades. Each haircut comes with a free wash afterwards. I think barbers here are contractors that essentially use the stalls, as they each have their own cash register. Sundays are the busiest but the wait is still short compared to nearby barber shops. Its cash only, and there is an atm inside with a $3 transaction fee.

Ive been getting my hair cut weekly here for 6 years and I have never been disappointed at Stud Cuts. Every barber can knock out a regulation hair cut quickly and precisely the way you want it. Even if its packed on a Sunday night, I have never waited more than 15 minutes because they have lots of chairs and barbers. The free shampoo after your cut is relaxing and prevents your stray clipped hairs from itching you around the collar.

The shop in general is really busy and all the barbers there are really really good. Most have been working there for 20+ years. Prices are fair, its downtown oceanside a few blocks from the beach. So after getting a haircut you can go to the beach looking fresh 😃

Top tier hair cut and very affordable

I have a modern quiff type thing going on and i asked for a mid fade with a skin fade. I got it, but for one, they messed up my side part which pissed me off, for two they didnt follow the contour of the back of my head so it looks like someone put a bowl over my head, shaved, then faded up, and third they didnt blend the back of my hair so i have a harsh bit of hair that hangs over onto the fade. very disappointed.

Best barbershop in the Pendleton area. The barbers are thorough and friendly and the cuts are reasonably priced, especially considering you get free hair wash afterwards and free use of their products after. I miss this place greatly at my new duty station.Tip: Use the barbers farther in the back, towards the sinks. Some of the ones closer to the door cut too quickly and you could walk out cut by the straight razor or with a bad fade.
