We recently had an opportunity to work with this company on a large shipment of mining equipment to Africa. Weather delays caused road delays, which resulted in our cargo missing vessel cutoff. RTM suggested trucking to another port and was able to obtain space on an alternate vessel. Their quick thinking and knowledge concerning alternate ports of departure and discharge meant our cargo arrived on time and avoided penalty charges which saved us time and money. In addition they assisted our documentation team with navigating local regulations & charges for a smooth delivery.

I had the opportunity to speak with this company in length regarding the shipment of oil and gas equipment, and the logistics of over-sized transportation. Ive been dealing with RTM Lines now for several years and have always had a pleasant experience. I find them very knowledgeable and diligent.

My experience with this company was terrible but it may not have been indicative of their normal way of doing business. I was delivering a boat to a shipping port when the costs seemed to skyrocket and Richard, one if the managers became impossible to deal with. I had to Block his number and that of his A hole lawyer David Singer who tried to include me in a contract dispute. Very unprofessional. I almost had to site them under Admiralty Law for interfering with the safety of the Captain and crew calling at 2:45 in the morning!I was just the delivery captain. This firm endangered me and my crew by having there lawyer David Singer of Greenwich cowardly harass me at 2:45 in the morning endangering the sleep and well being and safety of my crew. I should have filed a complaint to the Admiralty Board. I still may do that. Now there lawyer wants me to alter the facts under another threat. I would not personally have anything to do with this company. My personal opinion based in my own experience. I may peruse an action now against their attorney for crew endangerment.

I am an international logistics consultant and can say first hand that I have seen RTMs pricing and operations departments work really hard for their clients.They get the job done even for project cargo that is big and awkward. I recommend RTM Lines when you need to ship ocean project cargo.

What can I say about these people...... Well if you like getting shafted, and cursed at by RTM managers than this is the place for you. All they do is harass, and harass even when you are not in the wrong.I wont get into details as we will be here all day, but just beware, and cautions.
