Visited for a Networking event. Its a very different environment than most corporate settings but I think thats what the IT industry needs. A shake up! They seem to be very employee focused and it shows. Their employees are loyal and well taken care of. It was a really great experience to witness.
Run, dont walk from these people! We cancelled in September 2017. We took all equipment down and stopped receiving alerts or bills - everything seemed fine. a couple months ago, a year later, all of a sudden we start getting alerts this equipment hasnt been seen in a long time. we also got emails saying our bills were overdue and that we owe them a lot of money. Apparently Datto was bought by someone else who was looking for funds. they showed me that the contract I signed and was told was two years was actually three years. We haggled and came up with a payment plan just to get them off our back. When I called to make the first payment they told me they had sent us to collections. So, I got a letter from a New York collection firm on Christmas Eve! the person I was negotiating a payment plan with just shrugged her shoulders basically. Ive asked and asked but were still getting alerts and audits for equipment that doesnt exist. Just awful
Awesome atmosphere. Great people. Looks like an amazing place to work.

Datto head office is located in Norwalk CT. I was called for an interview there and it was such a modern looking building once you got passed the lobby area. Looks like a great place to work for one day.
Have used many backup solutions and Datto is by far the best. Local and off-site backup. But what separates these guys is their STELLAR technical, state side support.

I have a number of problems with this shady company. I do not recommend doing business with them, especially after they were recently bought out.In my experience over the last year of dealing with DATTO:Their products are misrepresented and over-priced.Their customer service is absolute trash.Their 2FA is faulty and only works after 5-6 different codes are generated.Their contracts are very shady and they extend them without notice.My main issue with this company is in regards to their data retention policy:Their infinite retention is not infinite, they hold one day of data a month after three months.When I questioned a solutions engineer, Tulsie Narine, about this matter I was laughed at and told truly unlimited retention isnt possible and they have never offered it. I find quite interesting that a solutions engineer would be so disrespectful as to laugh at a client paying his company thousands of dollars a month.In regards to the technical possibility of unlimited retention: AWS, Backblaze, Google Cloud, VEEAM, and every other competitor in this space is capable of providing this service. They simply charge more for the product.Very disappointing but I am happy to say we just built our own local and cloud backup system using a different local imaging software that works much better for a fraction of the cost.
Employees say its the best place to work!
Failing processing payments for auto renewal customer, sending payment reminders to the wrong person instead of the main contact on account, forwarding the uncleared payments to collections without proper effort contacting the right payable clerk. No matter how good your service is (if it is), you fail the business by mistrust!
