I tried to give this company some time to catch up after the ice storm in October and called in November before Thanksgiving. The girl told me it would most likely be after the holidays and they would call me the day before coming out to give an estimate. She made it sound like it would be January at the latest. I was fine with that as I knew they were busy, but do wish they would have put me down for an actual date even if it had to be pushed out further due to weather, etc. I mean its an estimate, not an actual job, so fitting me in somewhere if they were in the area should be possible. It is almost April now and I never heard anything. Being busy is one thing, but not communicating and making your potential customers feel totally forgotten about is another. It would have been nice even if they told me they were too busy to get me in so I would have made other plans. I dont like writing a bad review for a small business, but they made it seem like my business does not matter at all to them.
I researched Tree Wizard in September as they came recommended. It seemed like their form on their website was the best way to get in contact. I submitted my form and waited...and waited...and waited. Brittany finally got back to me after I called and left a message earlier this week. She advised they were very busy and could only help me if the need was 2-3 months in the future. If she would of called me back in September a 2 month appointment may have been acceptable. However, December or January certainly doesnt meet my needs now. Certainly do your own research. You may want to use someone else.
They always do great work for us .They genuinely care about all our trees.
I called them in July when I moved to trim the trees that were in the power line at the new house. They showed up mid August to provide a quote and said they would be back in a couple of weeks to do the work. By the end of September they still hadn’t shown up. After several more calls I was finally told October 27th would be the day. The ice storm hit on October 26th and guess what? My trees came down on my power line. They don’t return calls or seem to have any kind of schedule. There wasn’t any ice storm in July so don’t fall for that excuse. I had used them before and they were great. That’s why I called them this time. Something has changed. If any other tree service would have returned my calls I would have hired someone else but apparently none of them check their messages.
His can you do business with them?? The number is hardly ever answered. They say they are unable to take any business. I called over 30 times same message at first you could leave a message. That quickly got filled up and you were left with the machine was full. That was before the big ice storm hit. More of the same but the machine added not to leave a message if you needed clean up service. When i do go into to norman i pass it i stopped by many times left messages. I talked to i believe her name was Britney, not sure now that was so long ago. I believe my first contact was before covid began. When i would drive by some days cars would be there and the trucks gone. You see trucks with debris sitting in the parking lot but then i noticed days woukd lapse a d the trucks didnt seem to have moved and still had the same debris. The trucks have the phone number on them and now flags are out but the people answering the phone have never heard of tree wizard. Its the same number on the trucks, same number Ive talked to with them at the few times a year ago that called me back from, so Im so very confused. I cant imagine the amount of clients and money they have lost because of what i coukd say was poor customer service. If i cant get in contact with the company and they tell u they are to busy to help anyone with clean up after one of the biggest ice storms remembered make no sense and leaves people that are trying to hire you in the lurch with no returned calls or communication. If you are having problems be honest with people. Cant all be covid i contacted u before that was like this. But people will understand dont just leave clients needing your service hanging for over a year. Or is it you know people in this area dont have a lot of options and you feel you can treat people like this because our options are few and far between and like myself still be contacting you a year later.R they in business? I cant see how if they never answer the phone or notes left on the door. I. Would think after the 2 ice storms we had and that the one even as the weatherman said “stalled out over lex /slau area they were in a prime spot to they would be have had enough business to be able to take the other half of the year off. But you couldnt get ahold of anyone before or after.Like i said Im confused on the whole situation. Why advertise your numbers and not call anyone back and now whoever answers pauses laughs and says wrong number now
I believe that Tree Wizard is price gouging since so many Norman residents need tree service right now.I have been on their list since the day after the ice storm with no call back and no way to leave messages. Finally got an estimate that they would not put into writing. It was very high compared to other companies. I run a business as well in our community and this seems like a poor way to treat Norman neighbors. Unfortunately I now have more home damage because of falling limbs in the winds this weekend. I am very disappointed in this company.
Excellent service. Arrived on time and were very easy to communicated our concerns. Did not use large equipment therefore not problems with ruts in the backyard. Was amazing to watch their guys scale the trees and maneuver those large limbs. Cleaned up excellently. Would recommend highly.
If you want informed, ethical and highly competent value plus for your money and tree or shrub needs, The Tree Wizard cannot be beat. If a planting can be saved, you will be given practical and affordable options pertinent to the circumstances. If not, you will be given direct and understandable explanation as to why not. I cannot recommend The Tree Wizards work highly enough.
Its IMPOSSIBLE to take on new clients, when you refuse to answer your phone, and leave a voice mail message that asks prospective new clients (within the Norman area) to leave a message in a mailbox thats full. Not less than 5 times today (30 min intervals between) Ive attempted to call about removal services, and I guess this company has enough work they do not need new clients, as they are NOT answering their phone, or even checking/clearing their voice mail.
Great service
Tree Wizard has been one of the highlights of a new home purchase and renovation. We needed to work through a situation where a large portion of the main backyard tree was requested cut off the neighbor’s property. Mariah went above and beyond not just to educate us on the health of the tree, but to share that information with the neighbor requesting the work done to help us reach a compromise. Her team worked efficiently and with care for both properties, leaving no mess behind. I would highly recommend Tree Wizard to anyone looking for intelligent, careful, and efficient tree work.
For the Greatest, most polite, nicest tree lovers who are dedicated to the finest tree service and removal that youll ever find. But remember they are a Very Busy company so leave a voicemail if youre not able to connect with the friendliest , finest Tree Wizard staff around. They so a really great job and come through with some really thought out and homemade exciting Earth Day activities.
Our home needed three very large cypress located in close proximity to a neighbors home removed, along with stump and knee grinding. Tree Wizard delivered top-notch customer service from the initial calls and consult, the site-visit, and finally to the fast, thorough and job well done. Though they were quick I could tell safety and property care were a priority. I feel they were reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Tree Wizard.
Highly recommend. Professional, knowledgeable and do a great job. Overall, a great family to do business with.
Tree wizard has registered arborists who will do what is best for the health and beauty of your trees and property, and advise you on how to prolong the lives of your trees, and maximize the safety of your property. Their crews are incredibly fast and efficient, and fully insured. Ive had great service from the wizard, and will always use them in the future.
Very professional, got the job done in a timely manne . My place looks grea . I will definitely be using them from here on out. I recommend them
Excellent service and very professional. Highly recommend:-)
Three certified arborists on staff, insured, and professional. A family-run business based in Norman. Very good at explaining how to care for your trees or tree risk.
I canceled appointments to be at home to meet with them. They call me and say they cant come and it would be 2-3 hours later. Poor service and they dont deserve my business if they cant make appointment times. I could see a few minutes late but hours late is unacceptable. Beware!
Really takes the time to make sure his customers are happy! Would definitely recommend!
Nice people, poor communicators.I called early to mid-May about removing a tree stump, and they were fairly quick to get me a quote. However, after two weeks, they still hadnt come for the removal. When I called, I was informed that there were several emergency situations that required immediate attention because of a recent storm. Totally understandable. I was told that they should have the stump removed by the beginning of June. Today, June 21, comes and I have yet to hear from them. When I called, they gave me the same excuse as the first time. Emergency situations are understandable, but when that happened they should have called to inform me that their timeline had changed. Comes off as very disorganized.
Wonderful service and such kind workers! Thank you so much!
Excellent job.
Absolutely amazing!! 10/10
