Ive been going to the same oil change place for years and didnt think much about it. When I got a coupon for Big Rays I though, what the heck, Ill give these guys a shot. Great experience! First off, it was cheaper than my, now, old place. Secondly, they didnt push anything on me that I didnt need. Also, I had great conversation with the gentleman at the counter while they checked and filled my tires. If you havent yet given these guys a shot at your business, do so next time. I do my own oil changes and actually use valvoline, but this is a great spot to get a pic of your car.

Been going here for over a year now and they are the best! Oil changes are quick and I mean quick! You can either wait in the car or in their waiting room with a tv and fully stocked vending machine.Prices are the best in the area and the guys here are super professional. I’ve had my transmission fluid and wipers done here as well, but they do much more than that. They’ll also explain things really well to you and give you options on what works best for you. I love this place!!

The technicians were polite, professional, and got me in and out quickly for an oil change! They have a dream teacher and first responders/healthcare worker discount also! I will definitely be back

Give Big Rays a try. They do great and wont steal the stuff out of your car like speed lube does.

I could not select tire issue but had two guys from Big Rays help me out after hours tonight. Had a tire issue with my daughters car and they opened up the garage and fixed the issue. I lucked into pulling into Big Rays tonight but it shows there a good people around willing to help others after hours!!! Have advised my daughter who is a student in the area to use Big Rays and tell her friends!!!!!

This is such an honest place to be. I worked with the mechanics manager, Tom, and was elated by his honesty. My power steering was messed up because of the cold weather and it was going to most likely be the power steering pump. Before Tom replaced the pump he tested the lines for air and bled the air from them. My power steering was then operating like new without having to replace the pump. That was over a 500 dollar savings to me. Im on disability so this was a miracle to me. Ill not use any other garage for my truck repairs from now on. Kudos to Tom.

Great deal on brakes. Rotors pads and labor $199.00 tax included. Ill be returning!! My front brakes were fixed in under an hour which included ordering parts!

After a strangely rude initial exchange because their phone system seems to cut out a lot on them, I was told uh, I dont have a way to put that on paper, so. [awkward silence and background noises] ...Found out Ali doesnt work here anymore, huge bummer! He was so awesome. Whoever I got on the phone today (I believe he said his name was Nick?) was with the new management as of last December according to him. He did not have even a shadow of the friendly and consultative demeanor that I highly appreciated from Ali. What a bummer. Ill have to find a new place to use I guessAug. 2020 Review: 5 StarsI am blown away by the level of service, friendliness, and professionalism from the team here. Specifically, Ali was a huge help with getting some repairs done, as well as an opinion of what all it needed done.Ali even showed me the trail that goes from the shop back to the Constitution Trail and I relaxed for a while on a trail bench during the wait. Its quick and easy! The manager checked my cabin filter which I never let other places replace and it was DISGUSTING! Only 25 bucks for that. I have a Prius so synthetic oil is recommended (its in the manual). Good thing is, it lasts for 6,000 miles.

I was serviced at the Normal, IL location today for my brakes and rotors. It was more than on time but so professional and friendly. I cannot remember the last time I was treated so nicely in such a stressful situation for me with needing to get onto the highway to pick up my daughter in 2 hrs from arriving. John and Tom were more than professional. They had impeccable customer service and also got the job done in less than the time quoted! If it werent for COVID I would have given them BOTH hugs. They truly showed the part that is lacking in customer service now days and that part being reassurance, empathy and professionalism. Thank you all for working on weekends and doing a great job!

Rating this on service. I took suggestion for the synthetic oil change. I am pretty sure its a good choice. I think I will always need to use synthetic now. That is ok to as it will longer between oil changes.I suggest you give them a try. I support small honest business.

Get ready Google, the two gentlemen got my oil change done in just a few minutes but also checked and fixed one of my lights, and gave me recommendations for my windshield and tires too. Just got my oil changed and knew the transmission fluid was bad but never got around to getting it taken care off. The guys here took care of me and got my transmission fluid changed in no time.. False advertising on outside sign pricing. Was charged more money. When questioned, technicians said the owner didnt want the sign changed or removed even when they said they told the owner about customer complaints. Poor business practice.

I wanted a quick change today. Started towards the quick oil change place near my home. As I approached I could see all the service bays were full, and a few other cars waiting in line. I drove right on past and on over to Big Rays. The gentlemen at Big Rays were quite thorough and very timely. Oh and the price was right. Glad I took the extra drive across town. Ill be back.....in 3,000 miles :-)

Great staff, incredibly efficient and honest. No frills but no time wasted. Put in full synthetic for a 3,000 mile round trip vacation and vehicle ran like a top. HIGHLY recommend this place for saving time, money and having a great experience.

Came here after the Meineke next door told me they couldnt keep my appointment. The staff was kind, personable and knowledgable. They got me in and out for an oil change in about 15 minutes. David was the tech that helped us, and he was great. He even remembered to reset the oil change light in my vehicle, unlike 98% of oil change places.

I originally went to Grease Monkey who had no customers, every Bay Area was empty and was told there was a 30 minute wait while 3 employees stood outside the Bay Area smoking...fast forward to the next day and I stop here, 2 customers ahead of me, he said it’d be about 20 minutes and I was in and out in 15, two young men were working and they were efficient and quick and I will be a returning customer, thank you!

Just went in today for an oil change knowing that I had done a number on the car and had logged over 8,000 miles on this oil.The perfessionalism, and haste with which these guys were able to do their job with was great. Having recently opened I was slightly skeptical at first but that went away within less than a minute. These guys know there stuff and they will get the job done right and quick.

Thanks to the guys at Big Rays for going the extra mile and helping me out. My exhaust came off the frame in the middle of the road and when I pulled over to check out what happened they came over to offer assistance. I pulled into the gas station next door to put air in my tires as the sensor came on. As I was filling my back tire with air the valve shot off and the tire went flat so fast. I walked across the street to a big name tire store however, they were closed. As I was walking back Jonathan was walking towards me asking if I needed help. He completely took care of changing my tire for me. Treffin came over and talked with me about the valves and made suggestions about getting them replaced. Both very helpful gentlemen and I greatly appreciate their help this evening. Thank you!

The staff here are super nice and helpful. I bought a cabin filter a while ago and they helped me change it (which is a huge pain in the butt for a VW Jetta hybrid) for no extra cost. They even taught me how to do it the next time around. The price here is unbeatable. I paid $51 after their coupon for a full synthetic oil change. I definetly recommend this place to anyone looking for an oil change.
