Okay so I have been waiting to review! I picked my car up today after getting my oil pan replaced and sealed yesterday. They also completed my state inspection because it was due this month. I have had a few moderately expensive repairs done here recently. The staff and the owners are very nice. I feel comfortable that they don’t try to overprice repairs, because I get estimates from my former mechanic and they usually are spot on with the pricing. The new manager is compassionate and gave me a discount because of a minor mixup. It is located really close to my work which is super convenient. They are really quick and honest.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! The store manager communicated with me the whole time my car was there, so there were no surprises when it came time to pay. Went in with literally no idea what I was doing - the customer service rep Dequan was literally so easy and pleasant to talk to - he not only helped me get everything I wanted done, he also looked out for me and made sure I understood what I was asking for. Work was done really fast, well, and at an affordable price compared to many of the other shops around. Highly recommended!

I took my car in for an inspection the first guy I spoke with told me they had all the cars they could take when I explained that I called the day before and was told to bring it in that morning he told me I could drop it off and they would try. The guy I spoke to later that day and who gave me my keys was super nice and friendly. They did get me worked in and where super nice about it. This is my second year using them I would highly recommend everyone was super helpful!

So helpful, friendly, and fast! I got an oil change and then two days later was back in again since my check engine light came on, and they had both services done by the end of the day both times. Super grateful for their professionalism & transparency, and for providing me with as many updates as I needed. We’ll be back!

I gave the business one star but I give Moe 5 stars. She was respectful, listened and responded appropriately.Kim was rude, condescending and was not wearing a mask while less than 6 feet from Moe and the customers.The company wanted to charge $130 to change out 2 low beam bulbs. The part can be found for between $20-$40 and all that needed to be done was pop the hood, reach behind the light, twist, pull it out, unplug, plug in the new, stick it in and twist. Took me 2 minutes. Must be nice to make $100 in 2 minutes. Also thus was the first shop I have encountered in the past 15 years (with a few fails) who charges full price for a failed inspection. I know it is not required to do this but everywhere else I have encountered charges one dollar less for the fail then $1 when you bring it back fixed. Tune Up Plus wants every penny and will charge you an extra dollar for inspection. Then Kim will argue with you for questioning it :PTake a look at these 1 star reviews. Tune Up Plus will over charge you and disrespect you when you question them. With the exception of Moe. If I was only dealing with her I might go back.

Great place to get your car checked and or fixed they do a great job and make sure the customer is happy. Moe is a blessing she was there for me when i had to come to terms with having to let my old car go she went out of her way to find me a great place to give my car to and get more money than any other junk places were offering pure hearted and loving soul makes you feel there are still great people out there. Inspection, said both directionals in the rear of my vehicle were bad, I told them no they were not. I checked all lights on my vehicle and all working perfectly. I was told they will fail the car and I dont have time to play the game. I said save the bulbs. I did see the yellow/amber color was peeling, much could have happened while removal.

Unprofessional save your money. over charges and the new shop manager could care less about his customers just their for a paycheck and also extremely rude. I keep asking him about my parts warranty and hes determined to refuse to look it up on the shop computer. Shady Manager cant be trusted with your hard earned money. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

It was just overall great I had very bad experience at another place so I was preparedTo walk out at certain point when they start quoting crazy prices....but they gave me one flat fee for diagnostic... and my diagnostic fee went towards my repair...long story short fee was way better.. than I thought.... and they said sincerelyAny problems bring it back .. they will check it out free of charge....if you r looking for honest mechanics in this day n age look no furtherThan TUNE UP PLUS. is place u wanna Go...Tell him Andre sent you lol they will remember me .. tell them the guy with Cadillac... we was talking bout MMA n Boxing.... with him n his sonThank you.... please if u have car trouble try these ppl out .. they will b your mechanic forever.........

Called around noon, Friday, inquiring if I could get oil change, rotation and alignment done same day. Sure we can do that... So I dropped off my car 10 mins later. Called at 4 to see if it was done but told it would be done by 6. Got a call at 5 asking if I could bring it back Saturday bc they had a job that was taking more time than they thought. Cool no problem but we agreed upon a Monday morning dropoff and theyd get my car right in. Drop off this morning, Monday, at agreed upon time and expected to get a phone call an hour or 2 later. Drive up 3 hours later, at noon, and my car is where I left it. Decided to wait at that point bc it shouldnt be much longer and we will get you right in. 2pm rolls around we are still waiting. I decided to pull the plug bc I didnt have the confidence theyd get me out in time to do school pickup.The front staff gentleman was very nice and apologetic, though.

The lady was very honest and open about the service that they can provide without being costly. The only reason for a star is because of the minimal service able to provide;although an inspection center.

They were very polite and courteous. But I went to get my car inspected, arrived an hour early and it took them 4 hours to get my car inspected and I was 3rd in line. I was there 5 hours in total. Then I needed two front blinkers replaced due to the yellow color was wearing off. They gave me the bulbs for free but charged $70 to install the two turning signals. They had to loosen the bumper to access the bulb, but I feel $70 is outrageous. They could not pass my inspection without the yellow blinkers. I understand it wasn’t easy to access but I feel I was charged too much.

The whole time I was at your establishment Monique made sure I was okay when ever I needed a question answered she would explain in full detail. Had a great experience! I was treated fairly and politely. Went in to have my AC recharged and after a leak test was told that the condenser needed replaced. I was given the choice with the up front cost of a recharge of a new condenser. I was told what they thought was the right thing to do but it was up to me and that they would recharge it if thats what I wanted but they did tell it was not their recommendation. That was fair, I thought. I replaced my condenser because they were right and Im not stupid. I also new... No Freon means theres a leak! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Great job guys 👍

Overall no problems. I was told to be there by 7:30 a.m. for State Inspection. I was there before 7:30 and was the 2nd person in line. They didnt take the 1st girls car in until 8:45. Not sure why it took that long to start. Only 3 cars came in for State Inspection and they turned people away. Told one lady that there was a 5hr wait. Just dont understand that!!!

The staff is very friendly, the first time I was there it took over an hour for my oil filter to be delivered, they discounted my price... which I honestly didnt expect. This time they had a notations about the last time and credited me for a tire rotation. The staff there is very friendly...I will be returning for my next oil change. I have to add on to my last review, they the manger is very friendly, I waited 5 hours for my oil change and tire rotation. When I got my truck back my seats were nasty and you armrest was covered with oil, the manager did try to clean both, but the chair is still stained, this occured on my second visit. Now about today 8/20 I got here at 730am the 3rd or 4th person in line...it is now 1030am, I am still waiting for a oil change and tire rotation. Im scared to leave because God knows how long it will take. I have an appointment by 2pm hope I make it. They started out 5 stars,right now they are down to 3 stars, let me see by the time I leave.

Good quality work at a fair price

Avoid tune up plus in Norfolk. took my girlfriends car for an inspection had 5 out bulbs small marker&tag bulbs ect they wanted her to pay $205 to replace them due to it being a “tedious difficult process to get to them” where they get off charging 1.64 hours of labor @$125 for something I did on my own in less than 10 min in the auto zone parking lot (only one requiring two Screws to be removed to access it) is pretty comical. After I brought it back they took 2 and half hours to glance at the car to see it was done. Gladly will not be going there for any work on future vehicles. Just wanted to make this known I would hate to see someone who doesn’t know much about cars go there and fall for this.

My car was promptly taken in for the oil change as soon as I arrived. They also replaced the front brake pads which were badly worn. The entire process was done quickly, in fact, the manager picked up the brake parts himself helping keep my wait time short.The customer service is outstanding, they really do put the customer first. I’ll be using Tune Up Plus in the future.

My husband and I have been getting our cars serviced at this location for maybe three or four years and we have never had a complaint. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. They always tell us exactly what we need to do to our car and they dont drag things out to keep us coming back. The great customer service, fair pricing and speedy service is what makes me give this store a five star rating. I would recommend this location and company to anyone that needs work done on their cars.

I brought my truck in, ensuring beforehand that they could handle a 1981 with a 454 CI engine. They had it for 3 days before the manager admitted that the technicians could diagnose it. As far as I know they never even took it apart to look so it is possible theyre just lazy, however, the next place I took it too knew just from the sound a lifter was failing. I cant speak on their work because nothing was done, but if you have a vehicle that cant be scanned via the OBD II port, go somewhere else, because whether its because theyre lazy or because they arent knowledgeable, they wont be able to diagnose your problem. Beyond that in my personal opinion you should stay away with newer vehicles too, because I dont know of a good technician who cant diagnose a problem without scanning. Although for routine maintenance they may be fine, and the manager was respectful, kind, and professional throughout the situation, and recommended me a different shop that actually figured out the problem.

Got my oil changed, state inspection and tires rotated. The services took about two hours to complete, without an appointment. They are priced a little high in my opinion but otherwise decent service.

Went there yesterday to have my belt checked and they told me it was fine. Found a small piece of rubber that was making all the noise! Thanks to Chris and all the techs for not charging me for something i didnt need!

My family and i were in Norfolk on vacation. We had a small problem with a plastic plate that detached it self from the car. We got served really quick and we were not charged anything. After half an hour, we were on the road again. Two days latter, we could head bach home to Montreal, Canada a 700 miles trip. Thanks again Jared Milne and his crew.

They failed my inspection for my front and rear turn signals and windsheild wipers. Didnt comment on why the turn signals failed, just said they did. Then they tried to charge me 250 dollars to change 4 bulbs and replace the wipers. Absolutely not. My boyfriend works on cars and took a look at my bulbs and said they looked fine. Will not be coming back, gonna go get my car inspected somewhere they wont scam women!!

Took my car in to Little Creek location. Gauges had stopped working. Looked at it and charged me $125 to tell me the gauges werent working, which was obvious. Estimate $1700 to replace the cluster. I did some research and realized the cluster has its own computer. I disconnected the harness for a few minutes and reconnected it. Everything works perfectly. I asked them to clear my check engine light (since I gave them $125 for nothing but a bad diagnosis) Now they want another $125 to do a job that takes less than a minute. For $250 I could get a decent used OBD II scanner on EBay and reset it myself. Just a thought

This by far is the most professional and caring about the customer and there work shop I have ever been to. Very good prices excellent work and go out of there way to make the customer happy. I looked in the work area and it was very clean That also is sign of a good and caring mechanic. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone who needs work done on there car truck or suv!!!!!
