Highly recommend! We were highly pleased with the next day scheduling for the service call to diagnose the issue (which they tried to do over the phone too - super helpful) and then the install the following day. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was in order before leaving even though the hours were extended past normal quitting time. This was our second experience with Dutch and we will not use anyone else.

I have dealt with Dutch Heating and Cooling for several years and find their customer service to be extremely good. I recently had them replace my A/C unit. My rentals furnace stopped working after business hours in 30° weather, so I called Heating Cooling Paramedics to service it. The technician came out, and after looking at the furnace he told me we need a new furnace AND A/C unit; also, that it had been kicking out carbon monoxide the whole time my tenant (who is on oxygen) had been living there. In disbelief, due to the fact that I know the property pretty thoroughly inside and out, I called Dutch the following morning. I stayed with the technician while he diagnosed the issue, and three steps into his diagnosis he had not only figured it out, but had also performed the repair! Evidently, the flame sensor just needed a cleaning. After he repaired the furnace, he tested the entire home for carbon monoxide and found no emissions whatsoever. DUTCH SAVED MY DAY AND MY BANK ACCOUNT TREMENDOUSLY!!! Hands down, no questions whatsoever, I would recommend this company ANY day!

Excellent and timely service. I called last minute and they were able to squeeze me in and were very courteous and called to update when they would arrive. Christopher was very quick and thorough and replaced my thermostat in under an hour. Will definitely be calling them again, price and service beats Summers 10 to 1!!

Chris has helped us twice in the span of two years when the A/C condenser has decided to quit working on some of the hottest days of the year. Even when his schedule was likely filled up, if the job sounded like a manageable quick diagnosis and repair, he added our stop to his list that day and provided results fast. He treats you like a valuable asset and explains every component of his process before quoting the job and making short work of it. Regardless of pricing (none of the other HVAC companies showed up two years ago when I called them, so I have nothing to compare them to), the knowledge and respect that Chris has displayed makes him my go-to HVAC repair guy. Finding a trustworthy local company is difficult for every discipline (HVAC, plumbing, electric), so Dutch gets five stars in my book!

Wonderful Service and Great Prices! Chris came out to check out our heat pump that we were having problems with. He was so helpful and knowledgable about our heat pump system. Our system is now running better than ever and the house is nice and warm just in time for the holidays. Customer for life!

Great service. Christopher did a wonderful job replacing our furnace. We had him come out to check on our old furnace because it was making some terrible noises. He determined that the fan motor was going bad so we made the decision to replace it. When he removed the fan he further inspected the heat exchanger and found a large crack in it He explained that this was pushing carbon monoxide into the house and based on the age of the unit and the multiple problems beyond the fan that were due to the last person that installed the furnace it would be best to replace.We appreciate the quick turnaround to get us into the schedule and the open communication letting us know that the parts were in and when he would be at the house. Christopher put in a long day with his helper and now we are enjoying warm air again not poisoned with carbon monoxide.

My first experience w/ Dutch was this past Winter. My heater was not working very well and I assumed they would schedule an appointment, charge me a service call, etc. They did not. What they did do was suggest several things to try and I got through the balance of winter.Fast forward to Summer of 17 and I have zero air. Remembering my experience I called Dutch again and scheduled an appointment. He arrived on time, examined my heat/Air unit, and showed me what was wrong. I could see for myself it was not in good shape and we agreed on a price quote. Christopher and his apprentice showed up on time for the appointment and worked diligently to remove and replace my entire system. Each time they came into the house they wore shoe booties. They laid out moving blankets covering my floors from the front door to the unit in the basement. When they were done Christoper explained everything in detail. He also explained the excellent warranty that came with it and how to use the new system.Its been 3 weeks and so far the new system he put in has worked flawlessly. For the 1st time in years my air actually works and the temp is exactly where I set it. What I liked about Dutch the most is a sincerity you get. They are locally owned and Christopher has decades of A/C experience starting with the military and now with his business, Dutch. Dont be fooled by all of the other mega companies and their specials, rebates, and other dangling carrots. Go with Dutch and ensure things are done properly. Thank you.

I woke up to a 59 degree house this morning! I try to be a handy guy but I had to call Dutch for help trouble shooting. It turned out to be something I could handle and in less than a half an hour I ran for a part and have the heat on! I am a Disabled Veteran and being on a fixed income it meant a lot to me to save this money today. This is the 2nd time their Service Tech helped me, I had a problem last year with the A/C and it turned out simple too! Old Fashioned Customer Service, Honesty, Integrity; that equals TRUST in my book and Dutch Heating & Cooling is who Im calling always! It wont always be a simple fix but I know Dutch will be there for me and that means a lot, THANKS!!!

Lost heat on old Trane, Chris came out same day, diagnosed the unit, replaced the ignitor, works great & have heat! Would recommend if you have any HVAC issues or questions. Jeff Bell

Talked to Chris about the fan going out on my air conditioner. He gave me a quote of $610 to fix it. I asked about possibly purchasing the part and doing the work myself. He told me it was nearly impossible due to a lot of different technicalities. I purchased the fan for $150 and did the work myself in less than hour. Saved alot of money...no thanks to Dutch. Honesty is a good thing and I wish Chris would have been a little more honest. Very disappointing.

Im not one to normally write reviews but I had to in this case. In my opinion there are 4 areas that are critical to consider when choosing an HVAC contractor:1) Offering a quality product that lasts.2) Honest communication by contractor.3) Attention to detail during installation and maintenance.4) Value (cost for 1-3)After much research for options to replace my 25yr old limping but still functioning furnace and AC unit, Dutch Heating and Cooling is the only contractor that I found that received 10 out of 10 for each of those 4 categories above.I write this review after 6months of original installation just to see if the product works exceptionally for both best and AC. It 100% does. No doubt about it.However, the product alone isnt the only reason why it works so great. Someone has to install it the way its is supposed to be installed and specific to the needs of your unique house. The attention to detail that Dutch provides during installation is remarkable! They care so much about quality and workmanship. I never felt like I was just a job that they had to wrap up quickly. To them, my house was treated like their house. The technical specs mattered and the performance had to be PERFECT or they werent satisfied....and guess what?..it is perfect! Who could ask for more than that from a contractor? No sleezy marketing tactics, no misleading contracts, no poor workmanship,.....Dutch is just straight proof in the pudding quality.In terms of value, they are extremely competitive in price. But when you think about the level of detail they put into the install, I can think of no possible way anyone can compete with them. They might not be the largest contractor around Indy, but in my opinion they are by far the best. I would recommend to absolutely anyone looking to replace their furnace and/or AC.If I had to sum up Dutch Heating and Cooling in one word......it would be PERFECTION.
