Ive come to Rick many of times over the years for various things. From tire repairs, to safety inspections, to wheel alignments. He has always been extremely helpful, friendly, and honest. Id absolutely recommend him to anybody and everybody.

Very friendly - and more importantly - HONEST work. I took 2 cars in for alignments and Faught checked one of them and said it was within spec and didnt charge me for it! Holy Freeking Moly! This place deserves your business. Pretty rare anymore to have this level of honesty - they could have charged me and said that they made some adjustments.

Ive brought my car other places many times, and every place has always lied to me about what was wrong with my car. And the quote they would give me would be extremely high. I mean ridiculously high. But Rick and his son have always been honest with me, and charged a very reasonable price. For underbody work I will never take my car any where else. Their work is also extremely good. They do an amazing job, and know their stuff. I just wish they did engine work too because they would definitely get my business with that as well.

I was having problems with the steering being loose and the van was tracking to the right. I was advised that I needed to replace some front end parts that were worn out. after job was completed, the car steered like a brand new car, and I only had about 251,000 miles on the odometer. Very good, no!! excellent work gentlemen. Will be back as soon as I need you, thanks a million. Oh, by the way, the price was more than fair.

For those just looking for a general recommendation for an alignment, you can stop reading; its five stars. Do be aware of the following:They are cash or check only; no plastic.This is not a place to just go have a chat; dont waste their time. Its a small operation, and each time I was there, they were covered up.If you care to know WHY the 5 star rating, you can read at length below:For solid front axle vehicles (ie Dana 50 or 60), this is probably the only place around you should take your vehicle for an alignment.I have a high mileage 03 F250 that just wouldnt drive right. After taking it to three different, very reputable, alignment shops around Springfield, I kept getting answers varying from, its an old Ford with front leaf springs; its going to drive that way to theres no way to make camber adjustments on solid axle vehicles and finally its the steering gear box, and it needs to be replaced.The first and second of these, I didnt believe. Ive driven a lot of much older Ford pickups, and none drove this way. Also, I had done enough research to know that caster/camber bushings were available - but the trick was finding a shop that knew what they were doing, and would install them. The steering box, I had suspicions, did need replaced.Thats where Rick @ Faught came in. When I called, one of the first things he said was, If I have to do Camber bushings... I was sold.I took the truck to him, and within 10 minutes, he told me what was wrong with it. Camber was way out on the drivers side, and a little out on the passenger side. Also, it wasnt the steering gear box; it was the intermediate steering shaft that had a lot of slop.After ordering parts, he got it all fixed. And it is FIXED. For the first time since Ive owned it, the truck drives like it should. Its tight (for 290k miles), and doesnt wander all over the place. On top of it all, the bill at the end was very very reasonable.I highly recommend them.

I was really impressed with his alignment. Needed new tires he aligned my car and then told after i got new tires to come back and he would make sure the alignment was still good and to pay him when i came back. Very impressed. Others would have just aligned my car and be on your way!!

Good at wheel alignment but not very good at communication. I asked them to look at the rear wheel camber on my car and to call me and tell me what parts needed replaced to get it back in spec. Dropped the car off for a week and never heard from them. Finally, I called to check on it, they said its done and just needed aligned. I was excited, but then when I got there, it turned out they just did a front end alignment and the rear camber was still off. The whole point of dropping the car off for a week was so theyd have time to order the parts and get it fixed. Oh well. I took the car somewhere else, got the rear control arms replaced in a couple days, and its all within spec now.We all make mistakes so I would probably give this place another chance except for the fact that they dont accept credit cards, so thats kind of a deal breaker for me if Im short on cash.
