We had Layr install the 3M Prestige window films for our home, for sun control purposes. The films are great. And the installation work was professional and diligent. They were able to work with our tight schedule. They are responsive. Their price is reasonable for the great quality of the work. It was an overall 5 star experience. Highly recommended!

Glad I chose Layr for my problem: Newly upholstered sofa near window fading from direct sunlight. Daniel from Layr came the day after I called them to measure and offer a variety of window film solutions. He was nice and knowledgeable. Gave me a decent quote, so done deal. Very soon Ruben the installer came. Picture shows Ruben picking off a cat hair...boy is he detailed and professional! You cant even tell the film is on my window and I still get plenty of sunlight! Id originally called Prestige who asked for measurements, pictures, etc. I emailed this to the address they suppled but no response from Prestige. When I called Prestige about this, I was told they gave me the email for commercial. They then gave me the email for residential, where I sent the same pix and specs and after over a week, no response from Prestige. I think they are too busy with big commercial jobs. So if youre residential do Layr instead. I couldnt be more pleased!

My priority was to reduce the heat from the hot sun and also the air conditioning bill. I took his recommendation for the night vision 25. Two men came and did a wonderful job. There are no light gaps and it looks great. It has made my home so much more comfortable. I am very happy with this film as I was concerned that it would make the house dark. It looks as if I were looking through sunglasses. Fantastic service and product. Instantly felt the difference in temperature after the film was added to our skylight. It used to be unbearable sitting in the room with the skylight but now the temperature is regulated and we can enjoy the beauty of the skylight rather than hide from it. One pane in the skylight didn’t have the film perfectly applied and the Layr team came because without hesitation to fix it. They were super apologetic and said it was unacceptable that the film wasn’t perfect (FYI it was a minor flaw!) When they came to correct the issue, they weren’t satisfied with how the product was reacting to the hot summer heat and they decided to come back another day to make sure it would be installed in perfect conditions. I thought this was fantastic customer service and was very thankful. I LOVE the product and can’t say enough about Layr!! Highly recommend :)

As a non-profit organization in the city of Camden , NJ and having just acquired a fully renovated building with multiple street level windows, our organization was at a loss trying to figure out and solve our potential security issues. Since the building is destined to be a Writers House with children, adults and out of town guests attending various workshops and programs, the goal was to secure the facility from damage and unauthorized entry, but not to give the appearance or impression to visitors or the local community that we believed that there was reason to worry about personal safety or any danger to personal property. No bars on windows or pull down security fencing that might leave a bad impression on our visitors who may pass their feelings or impressions on to potential future guests. LayR put film on multiple windows in my clients home. Im going to be honest, the first installation did not go well. Due to the windows it was hard to get a good fit and we had gaps around the edges. LayR did the right thing. They did not like the way the installation came out either. Without me even asking they came up with a solution, came back, and fixed the installation. That is the true measure of a company and I will highly recommend them in the future.

Extremely satisfied with the professional installation of the 99% u/v protection film installed on our windows by Layr installer. We had fading on the sofa and the floor which made us think to get this done. Initially we thought of getting one big window done , for which the Pete didnt say no but instead came down to take the measurement and educate about the pros of getting it installed. We ended up adding 2 more on the order. On the day after seeing ther Super clean installation of the 5 Windows we added 2 more on site. They said yes to the add ons and did those right there and then.Awesome job done by Layr.
